Korean Air has the best Flight Attendant Uniform IMO. The mint blue pairs so beautifully with the cream while matching with the aircraft exterior and the interior cabin.

Ah...the -8. My ride back then to HNL. Idk why but on those flights I was lucky enough to always get seats in the front economy cabin, allowing me to view those gigantic engines....

Hey Jayden, Yay i’ve being waiting for this trip report 🥳 other than Concorde the B747 is still my favourite plane, nice to see a couple parked up on your arrival into LAX, shame though that the seat wasn’t comfortable enough although the food looked great🤤

Great video, Jayden. Glad you got to fly on the 747. They’re such a rarity these days. Looks like you experience was great overall minus the seat padding. Love your theory about needing to use the bathroom after eating Korean food. 😂. Palm Springs looked wonderful. Happy early birthday! 😊

Love the Queen of the Skies! Never seen nir experienced crew scanning h your boarding pass at the door of the plane, always expect them to look at it but scanning is a new one for me! Your first meal looked really really good and that is coming from someone who loves his meat!!

Hi Peter, you guessed right. I arrived into ADL 9am yesterday. Went to bed at 11am, missed the upload at 2.30pm, woke up at 9pm. Then I went to bed today 5am, only to wake up at 3am. Basically back to my normal sleeping schedule 🤣

I LOVE Seoul Incheon Airport! It is so clean and bright. During the day you can see the mountains in the distance. I am not into the high end shopping, but they have great food offerings and plenty of space to walk around and enjoy the view. Korean Airlines is also a big plus in my book. Staff are always friendly and helpful.
I agree, very clean and easy to navigate even for a first timer in T2
748 is always a nice ride. Had the pleasure of flying it on Lufthansa a few times.
Korean vegan meal looks awesome. Deduct points for no WiFi and dirty loos.
Your PSP vacay looked amazing. I need to head that way myself sometime!

Nice trip report. I just love Palm Springs and have stayed in that hotel. Literally LOL’d when you went to the Outback Steakhouse. The PSP airport is unique in that it’s mostly outdoor, except for TSA and the gate holding area. You board jets from an outdoor ramp and it’s almost as if Palm Springs is saying to you, “Look at what you’re leaving. Are you really sure you want to go?”
Had to tick USA's Outback Steakhouse off the bucket list 🤣
Hong Kong also has Outback Steakhouse but it's quite different. I'd argue it's more Aussie in Hong Kong

18:27, The ding sound for the seatbelt sign to turn on and off is the same sounds that you will hear on all Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Also, the Boeing 747-8 plane is power by the GENX engine. It has same engine that is also power by the GENX engine, but on the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.

It still amazes me that you can shower in pounded and some planes!. Great leg room. Will never understand why many newer planes don’t have individual air vents!
Giving economy passengers a dental kit and slippers is a nice touch.
You are so right about high fiber causing a need for a bathroom! For such a long flight, it seemed like a nice trip, shame about the seat. Tickets seem expensive.

Individual air vents cost airlines money, each probably doesn't cost a lot but when you add up how many on a 747 and the fleet size, it can become huge. Same goes to TV, headrest, and double seat back padding. All small things but can cost a lot.
I was on Singapore Airlines 787 two days ago. Singapore was humid and hot and the 787 did not have individual air vents, it wasn't fun!!

I must admit I was relieved when you were in the toilet and confirmed that was face cream on yur hand!😆I think you just lost your kiwi fans with the comment you made when you were in the Outback Steakhouse lol. I bet you loved being so close the plans at Palm Springs airport (reminds me of Queenstown in NZ) It's always nice to have metal cutlery, instead of plastic or wood! Hope you weren't missing 6'4" too much this trip

Fewer and fewer airlines fly the Queen of the Skies. A shame, the 747 is such an iconic sight, I will miss it when it is finally retire from service for all airlines.

enjoy CA. I went their five years. Los angeles was so hot. Korean air seems olike 10/10 for customer service and seat comfort.

Hi I am one of your subscribers from Hong Kong. Since the 747 is my favourite plane, i'm hoping someday I can fly either the Korean Air Boeing 747-8i or the Asiana Boeing 747-400 in the future. I actually flew the Korean Air 747-8i once in December 2019 when I was visiting my friend in Seoul, South Korea, since it used to fly to Hong Kong. I hope they will return to Hong Kong with the 747, instead of the A220, A330, and 777 someday, since it's probably my best chance to fly the 747 again. Last time I flew the 747 was that time with Korean Air, and I never thought it would be my last. I actually recorded a flight review of it on my old youtube channel, but I deleted the video, and now I regret it :(. I will be travelling to South Korea again to see my friend flying Asiana in the A330 in March. OZ still flies just 1x Boeing 747-400, and it looks like it will be flying to Taipei in March. I think other than Korean Air, my other chance is with Air China, since sometimes they fly both the -400 and the -8i to Guangzhou and Shenzhen, which are near Hong Kong. Long live the Queen (of the Skies)!
Great video and vlog as always, Jayden! Your honesty about Korean Air does not do them any favors. Too expensive for the lack of seat comfort and bathroom cleanliness on a long-haul flight. The 747-8 experience was likely worth it for you, though. I love your take on Outback Steakhouse - not a hint of sarcasm in your voice when you described its authenticity for a resident of Australia! 🤣🤣🤣

Fun fact - the new terminal opened just in time for the 2018 Winter Olympics (weeks before February 2018).
Hotel looked more like Indian Wells rather than Palm Springs.
When travelling, Jayden, do you prefer window seat or aisle seat ? I prefer the aisle seat as I can get out and do some exercise on a long haul flight as well as to stretch around and go to the washroom easily. !

How did you like the Korean Air jumbo jet? In New York City it's the daily 12:50am flight to South Korea Korean Air 86. The Prestige class Lounge you went was definitely an improvement over the older Terminal 1 Prestige Class lounge. My mum was supposed to fly on the jumbo jet as yours in the end she chose the direct flight PR A350-900 RP-C3501-RP-C3508 despite the Korean Air jumbo jet was the cheaper option. If you look at the passengers with around you on KE11. You have passengers from MNL on KE622. I am wondering if one of your trips here involves a KE B777-300er, which also has an external camera view like CX versions. There is an advantage of the Korean Air Inflight Entertainment System you actually get access to Korean pop music Korean dramas. Korean Air A321neo also has Wi-Fi. A380 Korean Air also has an external camera, just like B747-8. My guess is that you might have gotten a vegetarian Bulgogi or Bibimbap as your meal. In some cases, they will give out rice cake. I knew because I flew Prestige class on their Prestige Plus seats BE Aerospace MiniPod same as the 2005-2007 CX Angle flat seat

Legroom should be the same but the A380 will have wider seats :)

usually front. You might be closer to engine but I find it quieter (Sound goes underneath wing and back). Also among the first to disembark.

I see, thanks. I wish Korean Air has wifi on all fleets, but only domestic flights unfortunately. Same for Asiana airlines, I wish they have wifi in the plane. Even though I flew Asiana airline in 2017, that time, domestic flight in Korea had no wifi. I am not sure if Asiana airline have wifi on domestic flight. It's been a while that I transit in Incheon in June of 2017.
