you did a good job restoring the bulldozer.
Nothing beats old toys
Saving history. They don't make them like these anymore. Well done.
I remember having one of these. Played with it every time they tilled the garden in the backyard. many of miles pushing
If u were a boy or girl & didn’t play with 1 of these your parents didn’t like u lol no man they had the whole set @ 1 time not sure if they still make it but it would be nice to have the whole set now
My Dad bought me one exactly the same from the UK in the early 70’s I would ride it down our sloped back yard it was built so tough along with my Tonka Dump Truck and Crain Truck I had so many great days playing in my back yard digging holes and constructing tunnels it brings back so many great memories..
Excellent job
Parents in my neighborhood stopped buying Tonkas when they went plastic instead of metal. Little boys can be hard on their construction toys and durability was Tonka's selling point.
Sped up media blasting is way more satisfying than normal speed blasting.
Kickass, looks great! When I was a youngster, these things were the ultimate road builder, you could really lean into them. Awesome resto...I want one.
This is very powerful Restoration👍👍
Я вот смотрю и думаю, насколько же забота о детях в США не показная, а истинно душевная! По задумке и качеству вложенной инженерной и педагогической мысли!
This is like the "rescue and restore" ... So identical and i love iiiitttt
Rescue & Restore gets items, wrecks them and then "restores" them. I was disappointed to learn this. When I look at the all the 'abandoned' items they all look like they've been dipped in paint stripper and then stepped on.
Great Job on the resto!!! Tonka Tough!! Nothing like the old Tonka Tonya!!! That’s when toys was built with great quality and real materials!!!
Holy crap! That’s one tough little wrecker! Name me one piece of construction equipment that doesn’t have some use damage. Great restore!
Missing a headlamp gives it character. I say leave him like that. Great work
Thankyou for saving this toys from yesteryear. Best toy to play with and use your imagination.
Nicely refurbished. I would make a light for the missing one and then paint the grill. But it does look very nice either way...
I see all your Videos about Restaurations from these Vehicles. You make your Job with so much Love to the Details. Beautiful Work.
Супер!Разборка, подготовка и покраска-всё отлично!👍Успехов Вам в вашем деле!
WOW sir u did a amazing job on that toy u do no what u are doing sir it allmost look like new because it looks like new 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏
Man. Brother. It. Hart's. Me. Too. See. That. Meny. Blind. Out. There. Very. Nice. Work. It's. Alive. Lee
A beautiful restoration job
Unbelievable this Bulldozer looks like new. Thanks for sharing this video.
One of the hardest restorations I've ever seen, man!!
That's a great Tonka model and I think it deserves a new front-light.
You'd make another one (by hand) like the original one and fix it to the grill. Shouldn't you? It deserves it...!!
Respects and all my admiration from Spain!!
🙂👍🇪🇸
Thank you!! It was for a customer so thats why the light went as is! Thanks for watching!
GREAT job ... I want to be your sandblast guy !! I can watch that ALL day !! Such a shame you couldn't find a replacement radiator, but still a fantastic restoration.
A miracle the tracks are all there!!
... WOW an brand new Tonka bulldozer. Perfect.
Thanks for watching!!
I got one in my childhood i miss it ..a metal dozer wow
I bet! These are tanks!!! Thanks for watching!
And again!! You knocked it out of the park!! Awesome job! Keep it up!!!
Thank you Daniel!! On to the next one!!!
"Your old Jedi wheel trick won't work on me boy". Excellent work, looks better than the day Santa brought mine.
Next time use "Testor" bright yellow plastic enamel for plastic models. You could've use it on the radiator. Great job anyway.
very nice work sir.i tinker with this hobby.some are a chore.
Beautiful restoration job.
Very nice. Armor all works good to recondition rubber belts
Thank you! I will have to give that a try!
Spectacular! Well done.
I love the introduction of the video hahaha. It's the little engine that could. Great video and nice job.
I have taken some apart. Here is a TIP: Shaft caps/axle hats have different thicknesses. The thinnest axle cap/hat is the one they beat on at the factory. The thicker one is part of the shaft. Nobody should try to take the thicker one off. After piddling with ONE for about 20 minutes, I started cutting shafts because there was just no room to grab both hats with pliers. Keep on Tonka-ing!
Thanks for posting. I have a Tonka Bulldozer from 1975 that I want to restore.
Plastruct tubing and JB Weld for the missing headlight, paint the lot black and Bob's yer uncle! :)
Nice job exelent
Awesome job, to bad about the grill. I wanted one of those so bad when i was a kid to go with my dumptruck and gravel loader.
Thanks for watching!! :)
we both know that grill is never gonna be changed
Absolutely fantastic repair 👍😁 good looking 🙌 looks brand new🤓👍
Tonka toys is the best it never gets old
Brought back memory as i was a kid (83's), playing with this same toy with my neighbor. I had my nose runs down to my mouth n didn't care, we just uses our imaginations n plows, tows anything we think of. Lol! Nice restore!
Hahaha good ol days! Thanks for watching!!
I watched a few of your builds and they come out awesome. One thing I could recommend is get yourself a couple hammer and dolly tools for doing the sheet-metal work. They work a little better than the claw hammer. And you can pick a set up pretty cheap off the old inner web
I agree! i haven't had to do this type of metal work yet so i didnt have the right hammer but i shall get some soon! Thanks for watching!!
Super
11:05 you could paint in black, print a new part or the lamp itself in a 3D printer, it is originally painted yellow
Yes, everyone has a 3D printer lying around.
For the light, you can make a mold using the remaining one and then use epoxy to create a new one. Attachment is tricky, but doable.
Nice restoration. I don't believe the model had the stickers you used, but still a very nice repair.
Great job!
Looks better than new! Amazing...
Very nicely done Bro.
Why not remove the other light and paint the radiator black looks better
I was wondering the same.. With 1 light it isnt very nice.. and the brown radiator either...
This was for a friend and not my call to paint the grill! Thanks for watching!!
@@blastrestoration545 its my opinion Sr you made a Great job i have hundreds of Tonka Nylint and other hidraulics for restoring or parts and keep buying. Im enjoy your videos and work
Супер !!! Хорошая работа !!! 😊👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
pls do some minning dumptrucks also
I loved this
Beautiful!
Thank you!!!
Excellent and inspiring, just subscribed!
Tonka company really built HEAVY-DUTY 🙃 TOYS
A guy could paint the grill silver and get a couple real working LED lights to glue on the side of it. Excellent video. :D
Tonka dozer 1975 Year Beautiful!
Good work.
Awesome restauration sir. Nice too some good old fashion toys beeïng restored!
When you're doing restorations like this one where you have bunch of plastic and rubber parts you can use ricinus oil to soften rubber and you can use i think bit of laminate polish or furniture polish to give plastics new shine. I've seen guys restoring old matchbox cars using something similar to give plastics new shine.
Wow looks like just got from the store. Nice work my friend look forward to the next video
Thank you!! This one was a lot of work!! On to the next! Thanks for watching!
Don't feel too bad about the broken radiator, or the fact you couldn't find a replacement part for it! It looks *infinitely* better than it did when you started! Better than I could do, that's for sure!
Thank you!! Yes does look a bit better now for sure!
I had one exactly like that, beautiful job. I love it.
VOCE E UM JENIO.
that vintage craftsman screwdriver yer using is pretty rare
Lindo trabajo !
I would put all of the plastic and rubber parts in a sonic cleaning bath while I am sand blasting the metal ones. Saves time.
that Dozer never looked better 😎👍
сразу видно на колёсах бульдозера производитель сэкономил! плохой пластик видно невооруженным глазом! ВИДЕО КЛАСС!!!!
Awesome! Incredible restoration! Except for the missing light, I dare to tell that it looks better than new!
Thank you!!! Really wish we had a new grill but do what ya can haha! Thanks for watching!
Awe the memories!
Looks great. I would've removed the other headlight and painted the grille.
I was thinking the same...
Beautiful nice job
Gracias por mantener vivo los recuerdos de una muy buena niñez éxito
Nice job well done.
Very nice
Why not take the other headlamp off of the front piece and paint it with chrome paint? Wonderful job!
Wow you really got down on this. Great job.
KUZEY
An excellent restoration... WELL DONE!!! 10/10
I would have 3d printed the grill. Great restoration!
If only i had a 3d printer! Thanks for watching!!
I have one just like that and been wanting to do the same thing. Now I will.
Looks great.
Awesome to hear! Thanks for watching!
Front grill looks great as is. Wish it still had both lights.
Thank you for watching! I also wish it had both but we are still on the lookout for a replacement grill!
@@blastrestoration545 you can make one by 3d printing..
@@raajmata make a mold from the remaining light and cast one with epoxy.
Desde niño siempre quise una de esas.
Awesome restoration!
Tengo uno igual me gustaría dejarlo así de nuevo
i remember playing with this at my grandmas when i was like... 8
So YOU'RE the one who left if outside...! LOL
remember how the tracks always came off on the back... I am 50 years old and I remember vividly playing with these and every little quirk of the toy
Me too and I'm a girl. But dad said I was a tomboy.
Why is that? My Tonka trucks were all at my grandma's too.
I used to play with these all the time! Once that started becoming plastic they weren’t as fun for me😂
This is very powerful Restoration👍👍
Excellent job....Just super.
Looks great . I have one to restore. Thanks.
I'd turn it into a Killdozer replica! Haha jk. Very awesome video!
Huge difference between before and after 👍
I love the juxtaposition in the opening. Very good stuff here folks...Appreciate the content. Good luck to your channel and have a great day!!! Oh , what do you do with these projects when they are done? Sell them , display them , both? I'm curious , as I think many viewers are. Thank you for posting a link to the powder coating setup you use. Gives me a chance to see if I can start doing this type of stuff. Anyway , thanks for the great content.
Im glad you liked it!! Thank you for watching!! For now i just display them i haven't sold any yet but I'm sure there will be a time to sell them!!!
Cool!
Fantastic job.
Excelent work, congratulations,
Thanks for watching!
I don’t visit adult content websites for pleasure and satisfaction. I go here, mainly for the blasting part. 😍
A tremendous work. Outstanding result and a nice touch with the old busted grille up front. Loved it, and you sir have a new subscriber. Thanks!
