  • Having sailed across the Bay of Biscay and arriving in Gijon, northern Spain, on 6th October, we now had to wait for a weather window. We are destined for the Canary Islands and our next step is to get around Cape Finisterre in order to continue south.
We were now very late in the season and it was therefore not surprising that storms kept rolling in from the Atlantic. However, the delays became significant and their effects upon our stay in the marina were equally significant.
This video is about the stormy weather and the lessons learned during our stay in Gijon.

Hi, we were there in 1982. No marina yet. Tied up to the seawall. Now are you from england? Know your neighbour's. The flag described by you as French is in fact much older in origin and is from the Netherlands. Cheers Peter.
