Sorry about that Philip. Condolence to your grandfather. it was a shock story to hear about this things happen. I'm glad he still came to see the country. Have fun and enjoy your stay. Thank you to the interviewer. That was nice to hear. Thanks for sharing. Have a good one.
I don't know why, but I enjoyed listening to him, maybe because of his accent and the tone of his voice. It sounds like an ASMR thing to me that relaxes me. I could listen to him talking for few more minutes.
It was a pleasure speaking with Philipp about his experience in the Philippines! I wish him all the best! A friendly reminder, if you enjoyed this video then please LIKE, SHARE, COMMENT and SUBSCRIBE! As always, I look forward to everyone’s comments! Thanks for watching!

Scammers are everywhere. Even the rich countries have many scammers. They are professionals compared to the Philippines. So, beware 0f scammers wherever places you go.
Can’t imagine what food this might be. Never heard of anybody dying bec of food and Filipino at that. Unless it’s a really bad food poisoning or dengue or some existing condition they didn’t know about. But sorry to hear about his great great grandfather.
Phillip should visit Vietnam; Ho Chi Min City, DaLat, Da Nang, Nha Trang….Vietnam is the up and coming SE Asian country since they now offer a 3 month renewable Visa.
Not sure what the world looks in the 1800s. No restaurants or proper culinary, no proper water system, no medicine and modern hospitals like we have now, not sure if sanitary soap and bath soap exist in those days etc. i was reading a little bit of history about how people lived in 1800s and i learned that mortality was so high because of bacterial infections etc. The travels through a medium sized ships were rough and terribly long and you might get infected along the way. omg! So am so grateful to be born in this age to be honest.
Hundred years ago food sanitary in Philippines' doesn't exist. But today the government has more strict measures from street foods to fancy restaurant are being inspected regularly for street foods monthly for restorants. A lot of foreign people did died from food poisoning back than.
Thanks Pablo ❤️ It is very tragic but as Philipp pointed out this was a very common way to die all over the world 100 years ago. What I find great is that 100 years later the grandson travels to the Philippines and discovers how great the people are! Take care always Pablo!

His great grandfather must have died eating food that has salmonella bacteria. Hey, it even happens here in the US, when food is contaminated with salmonella.
Late 1800’s and early 1900’s disease are common no vaccines yet but yellow fever was eminent so there’s no evidence he was poisoned who knows.Hey!..Philip thanks for visiting continue your endeavors good luck.By the way your name rhymes with Philippines!no offense..❤️🙏😆😂🤣
Are you possibly over exaggerating? I rarely see smiles unless a transaction of some kind is taking place. Mostly frowns. I smile and say hi and people just stare at me like I am a freak. No matter how many times I visit and places I have been, it’s been the same. Happy friendly people I see in Canada but here, rarely. The odd elderly person will smile and say hello, most just look right through you. I want to see the smiling happy people but doesn’t seem that way on the ground. Lot of fakery
A smile is a contagious worlwide but even more in the Philippines...crazy story about his great great grandpa. Nice interview.
