The only thing better than watching Mr Robot for the first time, is watching it for the second time.
the shield 2002-2008 is much better, and also has a better episode than HE named family meeting i highly recommend
In the end Mr. Robot is a show about coping mechanisms. Elliot had his multiple personalities, Whiterose had the machine, Angela had her mother. While none of these things were real, they all served as an attempt to heal past traumas.

It's been great re-watching this great and unique series with you. It's one of the few TV shows that NEVER jumped the shark for me. Sam Esmail is a genius.
yeah that scene with angela in wedding dress was on season 1 episode 4
The end even makes Mr Robots arc make sense , at the start he was resentful of Mastermind and as it went through the show he grew more accepting of him and by season four he lived him as much as real Elliot. I think for a lot of people Not Kristas explanation was needed

I was so relieved that the ending wasn't a sci-fi, parallel universe and much more interesting an integration of Elliotts various parts. Whiterose (like Elliott) was mentally ill to the point of suicidal psychosis. Elliott's "happy ending" was overcoming his traumas and learning to live and love as one.

Mr Robot was my all time favorite series until i watched (and rewatched...) Dark. I dont see youve reacted to it, so if by chance you haven't watched Dark, i highly recommend it! It has many more WTF moments than Mr Robot (believe it or not). Its a Masterpiece.

As Mr.Robot said, Eliot stumbled into the world he created, when he was going through withdrawal, all the way back in Season 1 before he infiltrated Steel Mountain. He went to a crack house, got shot up and entered the world. That's why you recall the scene, because the scene with Angela, in that world, abruptly ended before she told him he's the mastermind.
It's not true that the actress wanted out. The way the show went was forseen since episode one. It was originally planned as a movie and as it was very dense they made a show.

In my opinion this show is quite realistic and logically white rose was crazy…affected by her own life and with all her power she thought she could change the world. Is like a tiran…a person that thinks she’s got what it takes to make everything real…a crazy tiran and her machine was probably just a nuclear bomb that would blow everything up.

I think you've ruined the finale a little bit for yourself,
by talking through all of the emotional bits and stuff,
I know this is a reaction channel but you are not supposed to analyze everything out loud as it's playing out, because you won't get the feelings that you are supposed to get.
I can only speak for myself and other reaction channels, but i've seen and felt more emotional reactions to everything xD
Whiterose’s machine was in all honesty a suicide attempt. He wanted to cause a meltdown at the power plant and wanted to do it in the Congo so that nobody could stop him. It was never about making a parallel world, but rather how he justified it. And my guess is the reason why the dark army were willing to off themselves for him is he paid vast amounts of money to the operatives families in the event of their deaths. Or it was a matter of intimidation in that if they did not off themselves, then their families would be killed. I like to think that once the guys at the power plant sent Elliot down the hall to meet whiterose they all just dipped out and drove away as fast as possible.
