    Great review, straight to the point, no stupid faces, stupid humour, inserts or images. Some people make reviews hard to watch. This review should be the gold standard, the bar to reach..

    It sounded like the wireless filtered out some of the noise that the cable allowed through. I liked the wireless, sounded tighter and less screech. I just ordered one for myself. Thanks for the demo.

    Great review and playing thanks. Definitely a very slight loss of top end with the WS70 but then you may be using a very expensive cable. I certainly have some cheap cables in my chain from time to time as well as a couple of non true bypass pedals so can't say that would be an issue.

    The best way to test is playing clean. Its more difficult to hear with distortion added in.

    I sold my WS-70 and baught the WS-50. I found that altho the WS-70 is good in terms of signal frequency, it sucks your tone so much (only has 86db dymanic range). The WS-50 which has true 110db, much closer to real cable tone. I play aggressively that's why I noticed immediately the volume dip when using the WS-70. Its as if the signal/output is compressed. Unlike the WS-50 which sounds so full and rich. Even compared it to my Mogami cable and the WS-50 tone is so close. The only downside is it runs on 5.8ghz which is not so bad 😅

    Lekato has lower volume than cable. On distortion this affects the sound because simply the input volume is lower and thus gain. In order to make proper comparison you need to adjust gain and then play. I have this device and I didn't notice any signal quality change. I also noticed a lot less noise and hum as of there is some kind of intelligent noise and hum suppression built in. It doesn't work like gate, sounds more like an intelligent filter like in Zoom devices. BTW, This is the only device i know, where you can couple up to 4 receivers to one transmitter. For example you can send a dry signal for recording into your DAW a send it to guitar amp input as well. Or you can play on two different amps simultaneously.

    Hi nice comparison. The Wireless is a bit more flat, the grit and the backgroundsounds = character sound is gone, and a less more bass. But its a choice you can walk free on stage. The cable is the connection input-pedals- amp. But let be honest, live even the most experienced artists with very expencive Fenders and/or Gibsons play so loud, so don't worry use this on stage, afterall the sound are you nad your hands. cheers Salomon aka Stonefish 9 - 11 Flight 84

    Nice demo. I did hear a slight difference is tones, between cable and the ws70. The cable will always tend to send out or carry a clean signal, it retained its treble highs for the progression you played. The ws70 lost some of that treble and sound slightly bassier. I found the same effect on my setup, using the Shure UT1-TG. I discovered it when I decided to purchase the American Fender Strat Pro II, with V-mod II package. Was a switch from a mexican strat. But this wireless setup isn't bad, I believe it will fill the gap, and with the V-Mod system, I can sweeten the tones.

    The wavelength on the ws70 was more compressed than the wavelength with the cable so I can see where you think the gain wasn’t as much with that wireless.

  • @jigsomyoca5377
    @jigsomyoca5377 5 месяцев назад +1

    The wireless sounded great. I could hear a bot more treble with the cable, but i thinks its moot since the high end tend to he drowned out in the mix by tye cymbals.

    • @1madaxeman
      @1madaxeman 5 месяцев назад

      The high end loss you get from a modest pedal board of pedals is far far greater and few ever mention that....probably blissfully unaware. Treble I find is never something that's lacking ie there's not enough...its usually the one thing I dial down a bit!

    I have this system and it works great. There are often signal issues in my house but this seems to do pretty well. Anywhere else it is fantastic. I would not use it to record but it's fantastic for cruising around the house making my neighbors cringe LOL. This is 2.8ghz. There are also UHF and 5.8ghz systems. I own all three as one will always work regardless of the type of interference I may be having. They can be a tight fit in some guitar sockets.
