Great review as usual! Thanks.
And I'm jealous of your lawn😊
Thanks Ian and for the compliment on the lawn. My pride and joy, even when I’m cutting it. 😊
Brilliant review Rachel, looks like an excellent piece of kit. More temptation.........
Thanks, yes, very pleasantly surprised that it worked with my gigging basses. 😎
It's got a seriously impressive range with no loss of sound quality!
A great review! Thanks, Rach! 🎉
Thanks Donna, yes, I am impressed with them. Great range and easy to use too. X
Great review Rach, really pleased to see & hear that the Lekato works with all your favourite instruments, a huge + 😊 See you soon x
FairPlay Jude, they all worked well today. x
@UkuleleWales yep! Will be using tomorrow Rach! 👍 xx
Hey, they’re cheaper than I was expecting. These things are the future of live music. I saw some Fender spiral coil cables and thought ‘ the only people who would buy these are people who aren’t old enough to remember what happened to the telephone receiver cable on the old home telephones!!!!’
Totally agree Billy, definitely the future. I love the look of the coiled cables (indeed own a few) but boy are the heavy. 👍
Nice review Rachel 👍. We’ve been using the WS-80 and the mike version MW1 for over a year. No problems with either. Good bits of kit.
Thanks and good to know. 👍
My xvive transmitter failed on me before Christmas, I bought the Lekato ws 50 on ebay for £42 and am happy with it as it is 5.8 gig and works fine on all of my ukes, active or passive, unlike the xvive. So for the price, a quarter of the xvive price, if it fails I'll get another set!
Hi Peter, yes I was really shocked they worked with so many more instruments than the Xvive and even better much cheaper. I haven’t had any issues with the Xvive but the Lekato ones work with the active Ubasses which for me is brilliant.
i just got a set and it worked great on my ibanez SGR with active pickups.. great product
Brilliant to hear! We use several sets when we are gigging, no issues so far at all!
Hello very good review thank you. Just bought one of these for my 14 year old daughter for her bass guitar. From what you imparted seems like a great pick, pleased you did the noise test as reviewers tend to miss this out. Also glad your instruments were played simply without effects. So many pass through pedals and produce a diabolical grunge that is no help at all.😄
Glad I could help and hope your daughter had fun with them and her bass. 😎
Those go to my nice toys department, but as I’ve been soundtechie since early 80`s I tend to look those bit differently. Biggest issue that bulky size prone to break device to pieces from slip or tangle on live act. Other than that they are pretty solid on what they are designed to be.
I'm a complete noob with wireless. Would this lekato system be competing with other frequencies in the venue? Wireless in-ear monitors, wireless mics, other wifi etc?
@@ianmackenzie686 Should work even that range is also getting crowded as phones and lots of oher Audio, lightning and AV-gear have become wificonnedted and controlled over wifi freqs. In ears, proper ones, work on other freqs.
Thanks, good to know. So far they have been great for me.
Great vid. I’d assume it would work with my active guitar but I’ll do more experience
I can’t say yes 100% as different systems work with different instruments but I was very pleasantly surprised as other brands I had used didn’t work with my active instruments but these ones do.
My Lekato WS 100 makes noise when i am using it with my Boss Gt 100, and it a serious noise what can i do pls?
HOW MUCH DO I LOVE YOU NOW?!?!?!?!
I watched this video and thought, "This is too good to be true!"
BUT, IN FACT, IT'S FANTASTICALLY, IT IS TRUE!!!!
I bought one on Amazon, and so far, it works GREAT! AND, bonus, it solves some of grounding buzzzzzzzz and/or hummmmmmm.
I hope it will hold up to the use and abuse it's gonna get from me. Wish me luck!
Just one request, if you or any of your viewers finds a little velcro pouch to hold it on my guitar strap, please share that with me.
Thank you!!!!
Yes, that was my excitement at this one too. Such a lovely surprise!! When you say pouch to hold onto strap, do you mean whilst the transmitter is in the instrument?
@@UkuleleWales yes plugged into the insturment with a short cable
I want to secure the transmitter securely to the strap so it won't fall.
Rachel, what strings do you use on you Kala mahogany Ubass. I've got pohohos on mine and although they sound good they stretch forever? Thanks.
Hi Malcolm, I use Thunderbrowns and love them. In fact bought another Kala recently that had the Pahohos on and changed them for Thunderbrowns too. 👍
I have a set of these but not that brand
They are fab aren’t they! 😎
Yeah! Pizza oven For the win
LOL Yes! Just need some warmer weather 😎
@@UkuleleWales it's understandable, no one likes soggy pizza
In time you will be throwing those Lokatos in the garbage because of battery failure
Well I have had some for a few years which are still going strong. I suppose only time will tell.
