      Right? I mean the puck clearly bounced in a weird way right as he was about to shoot. I'd say the guy who threw the puck was much more of a dumb play, its just the consequences of the moment that make people think that the dallas play was a brainfart.

      @@woobiedoobieify Theres a pretty famous joke that if the Oilers didn't get a point in this game they would have gotten Patrick Kane. Because they were one point off of last place I believe, they did end up losing to the Stars in a shootout that game I believe. Also, Ray Ferraro (the commentator) has every right as a colour guy to shame him, that is ludicrous even in an outdoor pick up game let alone in the NHL.

      Olivia Penwell It is a crying shame that they will have to face either the Bruins or the Lightning in the first round. It will be an excellent test of just how ready they are to be a true contender.

      Derp Face bryz had plenty of time, he just sorta froze. On both of them I guess

    • @thecanadiandefender1451
      @thecanadiandefender1451 5 лет назад +1

      Agreed. Bryzgalov could've easily thrown it behind the net, thrown it up the right, middle, or even the left if he had gotten rid of it earlier. As much as I love Bryz, that one's completely on him

    • @MrLopputulee
      @MrLopputulee 4 года назад

      Simple play; freeze the puck. Bad things happen when you’re trying to do too much. But without mistakes hockey would be pretty boring. Timonen did nothing wrong.
      Bryz sure was an entertaining goalie.

    Of course Patrick Stefan was on here :)

  • @kainoskairos
    @kainoskairos 6 лет назад +1

    Patrik Stefan's missed goal is not actually what makes this play so bad. It was the fact that he passed the puck right to the Oilers after and helped them transition quickly the other way to score the tying goal. It was bad enough Stefan wasn't paying attention to score the easy goal, but if he had just held onto the puck or buried it in the corner, the Oilers would have no time left to rush the other way to score and Dallas wins. It's even made a bigger deal because Stefan was a 1st overall pick and he never panned out (I guess we call that a 'bust'). Great players are given more allowance and forgiveness when they goof up. Stefan didn't have that luxury to fall back on.

  • @james-tennis
    @james-tennis 6 лет назад

    Man even as a rec hockey person we know not to mess around in the neutral zone, don't pass the puck back to the goalie (it's not soccer), don't get cute on a breakaway (like passing behind you when there's a defender), don't throw the puck into your own goal (lol), and if you lose your stick don't pick up the puck and throw it for an icing. These NHL players really do have long seasons so I guess they just lose their minds sometimes.
    This was fun because it was like NBA's Shaqtin' a Fool but for hockey.
