Becca today I bought a card for my ex husband and his gf of over 20yrs. after the death of my fiance in January, my ex husband and his gf decided to get married. that will happen this Thursday. I'm really very sad that my fiance and i didn't get to marry but it wasn't in Gods plan for me. I'm trying to be really happy for my ex husband and his gf. they're really nice people. please pray for me that on Thursday, I'll remember that God wants be to be happy, not to listen to the lies of the enemy. today i shed some tears for the life i could have had but i know that Gods plan will be better for me in the end. For high school kids, going to college, what is the one or two things they need to know about regarding their faith?
Bible Munch Hold on to your faith. Stand firm in your faith, on the word of God because of so much influence in College. You're going to meet and be with so many people you'll become friends with many others and except if you pray for it most of Your friends will be non-Christian and you will want to look like or to be like this one and this one, remember who you are in Christ you don't need to be or look like them at all You DON'T NEED THAT if you could see yourself as God see you you would Love this pimple just in the middle of Your front, saying the word "me" for you will be like talking about a gem And whoever would say you're ugly you'll be like "OMG What's wrong with those people, crazyness is everywhere, God open their eyes and preserve me of blindness" you won't need their approval at all but for that you need to stay close to God or you can deviate, loose yourself and him.
You can even be ashamed of saying you're Christian or talking about God but there's always a good moment don't harass or exagerate but there's always a good time for it, you don't have to say "Hi I'm Erin, I'm a Christian" you'll always find a good time, a good moment. You can even not say it and your acts will talk for you a Christian always seems like other human but he always act diferent.
Stay close to God continue bonding with him, look at Christian youtubers, add more Christian memes and acc in your social media actually Christian youth is awesome we have so much fun, God has his crazy side, he is minty. Read your Bible (even if you don't want to), pray, grow in love for him and you will stand firm in your faith and love him so much you won't deny or even be able to breath or live without him. Prayer is not a simple routine where you say the same things no actually I'm hesitating between Burger King and chinese food with my family so I will ask him, this is a real relation ship I was angry against him and I told all I needed to and end up crying because he was just in my right (didn't see, felt), we can debate,argue (with respect what I'm trying even when I'm angry), we talk about the last episode of my series and about when I feel like doing things with a guy so he helps me not, he helps me cooking/studying,etc but this is a relationship so let him talk, stop and listen to him, he has things to say about you, about this girl you can't stand, what colors he prefer even though he likes them all (meanings), heaven, he reassures you, just say he loves you, things more and less important and you don't have to be a saint we are human but God loves us actually I argue a lot with him, I have bad thoughts, I can say I love something about him and the next day no, sometimes I don't want to pray (like many others), my love for him can variate.
If you pursue a closer relationship with God you will be able to overcome all the temptations High Schools has (believe me I'm a student, party, alcohol, groups are everyday and the initiation day and the welcoming weekend were Sodom and Gomorrah if you see what I mean. (I'm so serious not trying to scare) And if you overcome this you'll be ready for life.

@Bible Munch I just finished my first year of college. I think that a couple things that really helped me were
1. finding a church in town that teaches the Bible in a truthful, practical, and engaging way
2. Having Bible study/small groups/Christian clubs during the week
3. Don't put God first on your priority list. Let Him CREATE your priority list
4. Grow together with your community (from 1 and 2)
5. Understand that you'll hear a lot of things inside and outside of class. It's not all true. Make sure that your filtering things through a Biblical worldview.
All in all, the most important part is community. If you're surrounding yourself with other believers you can help each other navigate through all the tough times and as long as you're getting closer to God, He'll move y'all in the right direction for the future.
Bible Munch Hmmph. As an university student taking classes in natural sciences, philosophy and history--I STRONGLY recommend speaking with people of other faiths, as one can quickly learn that religion at its core is an emotional thing, not a valid, true thing. This will help you be more open to intellectual conversations, new ideas, and less worried of nonsensical arguments.

@John Harris I was literally sent to a mental hospital because I told a cop and different people that I heard the Lord speak to me and I obeyed Him. I agree the Lord doesn't just speak to us verbally. There is the Holy spirit, the brethren, his word....the Lord could speak to us through an actual sign if he wanted. Yes, I was actually put in a mental hospital against my will and put on a medication. Persecution only lasts for a while for those who follow Christ. The hospital eventually had to let me go because non of their psychiatrists could actually find me insane. I guess I am known as a crazy person for the cause of my God. Amen🙏🏼
@John Harris In the Bible the Lord speaks to Moses verbally through the burning bush and many of his prophets. Angels also visited mankind through messages sent from God himself. Like when the angel brought Mary the message. God was in man form when Jesus came into the world.
@John Harris True Christians know when and how God is speaking to them. He says in (John 10:27) "My sheep hear my voice, I know them, and they follow me".
@John Harris Moses never saw God or his face. Otherwise he would have been dead on the spot. I Am's face is too holy to be seen. God never showed his face to moses that was the whole point of the burning bush. Have you even read the Bible?
@John Harris where does the Lord answer people before hand. Your'e whole view sounds like some twisted philosophy I've never heard of. I believe what is on the Bible. The Lord does have emotions because that's what the Bible says. God is love (1 John 4:8).

So far I like your channel just because when I see a person standing for Christ it is praise worthy and a cause of thanksgiving to the Lord.As a fellow Christian I warn you to keep away from seeking any presence or something " We live by faith and not by sight" A believer is the most wanted target of Satan to use as an instrument in his hands. It's written " for we are not ignorant about the devices of Satan"...also Paul rights " those among them who haven't understood the depths of Satan". New believers are vulnerable to spiritual deception.

It's gonna be a great day. It's only 7:30 and I've been in the word, had my coffee and have watched a video by my sister. I love ya, Becca! I’m writing a devotional to help LGBT people come to terms with the Bible and I’ve been sick to my stomach with doubt because as you can imagine that’s so controversial so I feel this 100% right now

What do you think of using a study bible as a main bible? My friends look at me weird when they see me with a big honkin' study bible. It gets awkward sometimes and I can't hold it as long, but it's the only bible that I don't mind marking up.
