The christianity you're presenting is so different from what I've been made to believe. It's logical and credible rather than incoherent and irrational.

I would never think you're weird or even lying when you're talking about that feeling you get inside you when you are praying. I KNOW this feeling. When I lay in bed at night praying I get this amazing feeling of comfort and love and I can feel it in my heart. I can't describe it I just know that the holy spirit is inside me! I also know when the Holy Spirit tells me the beautiful truth, and my sins are seen by me, then I repeatedly say I'm sorry. I am truly repentant. Almost on a daily basis is when I break down and say how sorry I am.

♥♥♥ I was a non believer thinking Christians were ignorant and inferior but... I had a personal encounter with Jesus and everything changed. It's supernatural. Prophecies, Septuagint, for example the book of Daniel (b/C) giving the exact dates of Jesus entering Jerusalem (10 of Nissan) always amazes me, just a little proof of God's existence. I just got out of an old faith back to jesus and how i was raised. I changed alot as a person. I was super racist, sexist, ans homophobic. I have changed, but ive been going through deep deep depression, im 15. Please pray for me, i want to be A Miracle of Love through jesus

Damn Daniel! I really liked the example you used with the shack on the island. I've always had the belief in my mind that God created the universe, and this really helped me explain my logic to myself. It's especially hard when you're in science class and your assessment question is "The Earth is 75% water. Using evidence from your investigation, explain how the water gathered on Earth." And I just want to write "God freakin' put it there." But I'm supposed to go on about how planets break off and form and leave H20 and meteorites break down and water is put into cycle. As you were saying, humans monitor these things, and it can't be proven for sure if we weren't there to set it up. If we have no doubt in our minds that a human must have been there before us to build a shack, why would we question how a universe this vast came to be?

If after death there is nothing (what I seriously doubt)...I experienced the pain of confessing all my sins and....and ! receiving forgiveness. And experiencing God changing my character and changing my habits to conform them to His laws. A miracle. Please let Him go on to sanctify me! Even suffering brought me joy of being closer to Him.

If I could Fly God bles you, you may want 5o read a little bit of the book of John, it is easier to understand at first and is one of the Gospels.
Find a Bible study when one doesn't understand its okay because you can find answers from Christians with more experience. That's why we are disciples God bless you.

Your series has been really inspiring to me and I love all of the knowledge and wisdom you posses. I was actually baptized yesterday before the New Year and it was great and really life changing, I prayed and cried so hard when I cam home. And after I prayed I wanted to watch videos about young women and there experience and testimony while being one with Jesus. And your video was the first video I have come across, I went to sleep watching your videos and now I'm up watching your videos and this awesome series. I would said i didn't really have any doubts that God was real, i just needed some advice and guidance, and your videos gave them to me. For me, the very reason I came to believe in our Creator was through supernatural experience believe it or not. I thought to myself that if such 'ghosts' and apparitions exist, then surely God must as well. few years after having such experiences, He has saved my life multiple times.

Hi becca, great video! I myself am struggling with some doubt of God's existence and it stems off of the fact that I struggle with severe acne and often become angry at God and think that no one is really listening to me and that I am jut talking to myself. Before I had this crisis of faith, I heard God speak to me through others that my acne was going to be healed and I know He can do it but my lack of faith is getting in the way. I was wondering if you could please pray for me I love your videos and hope to restore the love of the Lord in my heart as I see it in yours ❤️ God bless

this helped me a lot! i'm a christian but i do have a question about something you said, not because i don't believe i just don't understand! so you mentioned daniel prophesied about the division of the kingdom etc, how do we know when daniel was written/found compared to history? like how do we know it was before these events occurred? appreciate any clarification! Hello! I saw that you were concerned about this question so i will help you out :), basically what historians have found is what we now call "The dead sea scrolls" which is a collection of sciptures from the old and new testament, (you can search on it and you will find a lot on google about it) they have done test and tried to figure out according to history when the scrolls might have been written, and they found out it was from around 50-1 bc or somewhere around the year 1-100, now they have not found all scriptures that are in the bible but they have found enough to realize it follows the way bible describes it. an example is that alexander the great lived somewhere around 300-400 (idk sorry xD) but somewhere around there, so we can figure out that the bibles prophecies were written down (50 bc to year 100) and that the bible indeed wrote it before it happened. of course you can do more research about it but that's what I've gotten out of it :). One thing that sticks out to me is that God draws you to Jesus. It is so recognizable, you can hear and feel it and you will know who it is the Creator. Proof enough for me!
I'm happy that you prayed for your dad to get better and he did, but what would you tell someone if they prayed and a whole congregation prayed and the person being prayed for died? Why does God love your dad more than my grandmother?
Rachael Lefler 🤔 maybe prayer didn't worked on the grandma because she's probably much older and her body has suffered more wear and tear.
It's really hard to see loved ones pass on, my grandma also passed away a few years ago😰But we have to remember that God's plan is always the right one. Things don't always go as we want them to, but God sees the whole picture, the complete story. He holds the world in His hands, and we can take comfort that He knows what we do not and He will help us through all these hard and unexpected times.
It is once appointed unto man to die ... we will all go at some time. He set an appointment for that. So even tho it’s hard for people left here there is rejoicing in heaven for that soul making it home. Scripture says the lord rejoices over the death of saints. He is faithful to answer but it’s not always what we choose but what is needed at that time for everyone involved.

Why is it so easy for you to believe that God was never created, just always there, yet so hard for you to believe that a single cell was always just there and never created? Chloe Seljak Well, I would like to try to help. Our minds are not capable of understanding all of the universe. We are just too small. I saw this analogy on another video and I loved it. Our brains, they're like computers. They have limits. I can understand why it's hard to believe that God was always here because of the limits of our mind. We cannot fathom the concept of 'before time' or 'eternity'. But I think about the fact that God is, well, God. He isn't like anything we have ever seen or heard before. He is almighty, and he is most certainly not human. You have to think of God as something different entirely. I really urge you to watch her first video in the Why I Believe series, the end point about 'one dimensional" is super amazing and it helped me become even stronger in my faith. Great question!! I would say because at the time, it was the biggest kingdom the world had ever known. It probably felt that way to them maybe? I don't have the perfect answer to this, I'll be completely honest! It would be very interesting to see what wording was used in the Greek translation (the original translation) of the world "whole earth" because it might be a little different when it's translated into English. I keep searching for new arguments for the existence of God but I constantly find the same arguments over and over in slightly different forms. Also, you said that you experienced god in your heart. What does that mean? How would you know if it was god, yourself or the devil? Maybe, it was an emotional reaction similar to what causes a mosh pit at a Metallica concert or causes people to be moved to tears by a symphony.
Tom Wolfe I completely understand where you're coming from! I would highly recommend that you read the Case for Christ. It was written by an atheist who went out to disprove Christianity. It's a fantastic read
I feel him too, his presence, I know it’s God because his presence isn’t evil, if it was evil then I would know it was the devil, I know it’s not me because I am incapable of making myself feel the way God does, he overpowers me with the Holy Spirit, his love is there in my heart and I become extremely emotional, i know it’s not me because it is impossible for me to love as much as he does

Honestly, for me it's sad because I don't think I've had a very spiritual christian experience. I've felt God's presence before, or the holy spirit one time, and this other time God whispered to me a bible verse repeatedly, and I hadn't really read the Bible before, I looked it up in my Bible and it was the ONLY highlighted verse, and this other time I felt his presence while I left my confirmation retreat, but other than that I've only felt him three times. . .
lol, i guess i DID feel him before, but I mostly believe in God because of the evidence.
Also, the New Testament tells us to test the spirits!! If you have an experience with God, look up scripture and see if that spirit really aligns with scripture. That's why it's important to read the word every day

I think one of the most exposing words that you said about your reason for believing is that you "feel" that the universe screams that a god exists. It's fine if you "feel" that such a being exists, but it has no place in the venue of ideas that are based off empiricism. I'm glad that you admit that there is no proof that he exists. I would go even further by saying there isn't even good evidence for his existence. The argument that you provide about the hut in the beginning of the video is another version of watchmaker analogy, which is a very famous argument. However, why choose a hut for the example? How about a grain of sand or a rock. Do those scream of design?
Hi Bob! So the purpose of me saying "I feel" was because i was telling my testimony, so that was the best way for me to describe it! And I guess you're right about the hut thing, I definitely wasn't intentionally trying to use a different example to be malicious, that's just the way I had heard it before so I wanted to share that idea with others! And i actually do believe rocks & sand do scream of a creator as well. Every little thing on this earth looks incredible under a microscope; they always have so much detail! For me, that detail is the evidence for me that Someone else made it!

In order to determine whether something is designed by an intelligence, we make comparisons between the thing in question and natural occurances. if we simply think that everything in the universe was designed (sand, water molecules, asteroids, rubber, etc.) then how can we ever make legitimate comparisons about anything? Complexity seems to not be a hallmark of design.
Thanks for the kind response. I was a believer for the first 19 years of my life before I was exposed to a lot of different philosophies and criticisms of religion. I know the benefits of belief.
Out of curiosity...If you love someone, do you know that you love them based on empirical evidence ?
I spent about 35 years as a non believer and eventually a full blown Atheist. I was adamant that God was complete non sense and was open about what I thought. It took me less then a week to go from non belief to Living intensely for Christ. All it took was reading the New Testament and seeing for myself the truth of Jesus’s life, death and resurrection. Within days I was ready to accept Christ and when I did I experienced the truth of the Holy Spirit coming into my heart. The rest that Jesus promised is real and sin is no longer something I can tolerate in my life.
