My aunt lived a few blocks from Phil so I grew up going to see him every year. It’s so funny how normal it seemed as a kid. Now I see it’s definitely odd to stand in the cold for a few hours to see a groundhog. 😂

I grew up in the sticks and I can tell you that groundhogs are some vicious creatures for real. I would never attempt to pick one up, no matter how it was raised.
