    I know a clever Vietnamese guy who does the same thing, but as they say, Great Minds Think Alike, so kudos to you, this works. "There's nothing new under the sun." -- Ecclesiastes. I would suggest an even better method would be to thaw and then salt the bait for a few days to really stiffen and toughen it up. You probably wouldn't even need the mesh if you did that.

      Thanks for the the feedback. The large wraps work really well in containing a whole fish for bait and presents that bait in a very natural way to the fish. Good luck fishing!

      Me too in CT. But this wont work here if your going for inshore edibles. Maybe for snoek as a snoek will take anything. There are other ways.

    Thank you for this tip it will have my anchovies last longer for the fish to eat every time I fish without something like that my fish always falls apart or the fish always takes it off the hook but with this method I will catch hopefully better and more fish

      Mary Lu: Thank you for your kind remarks. The wrapfishingsystem is catching on all over the country. Salt and fresh water anglers are using their imaginations and coming up with some unique ways to use the system. Hope you post your experiences on youtube for others to enjoy.

    • @TheParachaz
      @TheParachaz 5 лет назад

      Rod Bieleski ...so right, why not place some plastic pellets into the guts of the bait? I’m sure if we all try very hard we can fill all the fish with plastic...they love it!

      PVA Mesh is not plastic and is relatively harmless. It's non-toxic, water soluble and biodegradable.

    It's a great fit/function but please make these out of something other than nyulon. Otherwise, it's more trash that'll be found on the bottom of the ocean or in the stomachs of dead birds.

  • @boettgg1275

    This does not present a bait naturally and target fish will shy away. There are other ways. Also polluting the sea with plastic no good. Not recommended.
