I'm glad I found this video as it is indeed really easy to loose the progress you've made with healthy eating whenever you travel. You're in an unfamiliar place so you don't know where to go for healthy food options. You're also often really pressed for time so it can be harder to follow through with a plan to eat healthy.
yes i agree! I can never stick to my health eating plan while I'm travelling. I think it's because of the long days and stress, which then makes me crave junk food. This video is full of great tips that I"m going to try. It'll be so much easier to avoid the junk food pitfalls by having a plan ahead of time.
Thanks man. I travel a lot for work and spend almost 3-4 days a month traveling and mostly I eat junk which has made me put on quite a bit of weight. Will sure follow your tips for my next travel.
This is great! One of my biggest weaknesses is eating unhealthier food when I'm traveling for business or on family vacations. These are some great ideas, I'm definitely going to start bringing some of my own food for trips from now on and start making meal plans for me to stick to. Your Travel Fit program looks great too and I think it's really gonna help. Thanks as always Doc!
highly informative fresh video guide on eating healthy during traveling , categorizing it into three simple phases makes it more memorable and feasible to keep one on track during travels.
I love your idea of that mix shake but not enthusiastic about the food bars which has high sugar content. I would prefer some fruits and nuts with the shake.
Hey Chase, thanks for writing in! A Kelty backpack is a great option for lots of storage and versatility. It can be used on a daily basis, as well as hiking or traveling and comes highly recommended! -The FFP Team
I put my head down in shame when he lifted up the clif bar. Im a wrestler and I depend on bars like the clif company to provide that energy for me on the go
Hey Lex, thanks for writing in and thanks for watching! A couple brands we recommend are Matein and Tourit. The latter makes a nice insulated one that can double as a cooler for trips as well but both have well-designed pockets for multiple purposes. -The FFP Team
It would be a pain to have all these in a bag and travel with it. I understand that every meals required a lot of these but there are other stuff to put on the bag. Although the stats of a proteen certainly will help a lot. Thank you.

Working out isn’t a challenge for me while travelling but I’m on a 2 month backpacking trip and I am feel like I am slacking on my protein especially because I can’t reed any of the labels I know this video was years ago but any suggestions Edit:(I’m in Thailand and Vietnam btw)
Hey Random, thanks for writing in and great question! Luckily, some of the best sources of protein don't require label reading as it's made of just one (or a few) ingredients! Any time you can pack jerky/meet sticks, you can get a whopping amount of protein. Epic bars are a fantastic option and can be found online. You can get a variety of animal-based protein sources in individually wrapped bars. Best of luck and thanks for watching! -The FFP Team
