When you’re counting calories, do you minus your calories burnt off from exercise from your daily total afterwards or are they included in the daily total? i.e. I want to eat between 2200 and 2500 calories per day, I ate 2300 but burnt 500 calories from exercising. Have I hit the goal at 2300 calories or is my total 1800 and I need to eat 500 more calories?
hey felu, i just got the same induction stove and i wanted to ask, when you say medium or high heat where do you put it? thanks for all your great work and fantastic recipies!
Could you talk about what you think of hihly processed foods, especially meats? I wouldn't want to eat most of the turkey/chicken slices you can buy in german supermarkets, but I'm also strapped for cash. How do you deal with that?
I would like to hear your opinion about Turkey breast. I am kinda scared of consuming processed meat, do you think it is healthy to consume? Because as you said it is a great protein source but I cannot be sure if it is healthy to eat that. If you have some healthy options for processed meat could you please share it here with us? Thanks for the recipes and keep up the good work.
I roast a whole marinated turkey breast in the oven (most of the time I roast chicken breast but do turkey for variety). I then can cut in thin slices for sandwiches or shred for pasta, etc.
hey, could you make a video about bagels? I really like them for breakfast but I don't know what to add to make them have a lot of protein and taste good
It's interesting to note that you've been gradually lowering the amount of protein you've been consuming over time. Is there any specific reason on this, like is because of what you happened to eat today and you still eat more protein on average, or are you shifting macros to include more carbs/fats in place of protein instead?
There's no reason to eat more than 1g of protein per pound of bodyweight. You might as well get more micronutrients from higher fat foods like nuts instead of completely maximizing protein.
By the way it looks you poured around a teaspoon of olive oil, so at least 35 more calories, and also a teaspoon of honey, another +15 calories. If you use a different brand it could be total +70 calories and the total meal is over 750 cal.. Just my opinion.
ngl, i usually love your videos because you typically show us healthy recipes that still look delicious. but everything in this video looked like dog food

@Felu thanks a lot!
is this good for bulking or is it better for maintenance? 🤔
depends on your energy demands - every individual is different. Personally, this would be too low calorie for me for maintenance
@@micah1754 Yeh true that!
Out of curiosity, do you eat 2200 calories at maintenance or is this part of a cutting / bulking phase?
My maintanance is at about 2500, this was just a random day and it happened to end at 2200 calories
dark chocolate goes well in that bowl
literally what I do. It's incedible
For the fruit power bowl, what do you think of cottage cheese instead of the yogurt?
It's great but I think a lot of people don't like cottage cheese so i used skyr/greek yogurt
Danke

Probably mozzarella or powdered PB for a basic start.
smoked salmon and deli slices have a lot of protein too
So, I'm concerned about oats now with the recent chemical story. Does anyone have a recommendation for a substitute?
Is that walking pad thing reliable? I immediately went out to buy one but like an hour of Googling later I still don't know how quality it is.
I have this thing since over 1 year and it still works perfect
I've had the same one for almost three years. Works like a charm.
hey,
which website do use for the macro calculations? thanks
Pistachios as well?
how much is the cost to all of that

My problem is eating too much protein
Any protein your body doesn’t need is converted to carbs.
and? calories in, calories out is all that matters.
No. That’s not how it works.
lol you think this is alot of protein? pro bodybuilders consume between 300-500g of protein a day. I eat 2lbs of chicken a day.
