I surely can't be the only one that thinks these DO NOT look better then a new set of 6 piece clear headlights for our beloved Fox's? This one piece just looks to Euro for me. Imo the 3 piece headlights on each side is what makes the Fox look so good "when they aren't old and yellow stained"
Those things are sexy! Haha I'm getting the same pair for mine (87 GT) now that I watched this I'm about 10x more excited to get them! You guys are pretty great too, watched a couple other videos and every one I've seen are very helpful.
Overall good kit. I had a few issues, 1st the reflector in one of my lights was bent facing downward, I was able to go through the back and bend the reflector almost back into position. it does affect the lighting slightly I ended up installing the smoked ones on my 89gt. A few other things to note. My car COULD NOT reuse the factory turn signal bulbs the harness in the video was not the ones I received. i got the ones for a 90 i believe,. its no biggie though. Also you must use 2357NA bulbs Autozone was out of them so I opted for some other bulbs that closely matched and they didn't work, they just stay on and do not flash.
i think they would look better with a black trim around the housing! also some led's would be nice.... i still think its a decent piece and probably will get a set for my fox at some point!!
hello friend sorry if I write badly translated from Latin America. Could you tell me the number of socate bulb and using this set? you indicate that you have to replace it. I do not have the tool to adjust the headlights, there is another way? Grateful for your answers
Hi - does that adjuster mean you can adjust the dip so I can use it in AUSTRALIA ? (i.e. doesn't dip into oncoming traffic when driving on the other side of the road) ?
Hello I purchased a set for my 89 and I cannot get them to adjust up or down? I have turned the adjustment screw in both directions and nothing happens. what can I do about this? which way adjusts them up on the screw? they are way to low. thanks Matt
im having the same problem its just the one adjuster isnt it? mine are pointed dead center but they're basically fog lamps right now they go straight to the ground
+casey mcgregor what I had to do with mine was to remove the bulbs and pull the black rubber seal on the back of the housing where the bulb goes, you will notice the lock ring will hit it. while I had my housing out I went ahead and just adjusted them up as far as I could by turning the adjustment screw clockwise while watching the area where the bulb goes, you can watch it move up or down with the bulb and seal out of it. I hope this helps cause they are a pain.
hey, i have one of these mustangs in the UK, when you say you can adjust the position would it have enough adjustment to dip left hand side rather than the right hand side like in the states thanks
Did you ever figure this out? I just went back to 6 piece and the hazard and blinker bulb connections dont fit and was told i need to find oem pigtails for them.
to be honest i bought the same exact ones from you guys and im not all that impressed with them. there's no adjustment anywhere on them and the weather stripping around them is falling apart, ive only had them for about a year or so. all in all not too pleased with them.
naah man! i've looked every where!! even ford told me they dont make the original ones anymore!! i just hope i find some used ones in good shape since mine are allmost useless
I'm watching this b4 changing these ugly ass lights back to 3 piece headlights. With all that wire cutting, i have a feeling im going to have to buy some new plugs.
We have new light sockets/pigtails on the website. Just search the specific light categories for headlights or turn signals/park lights and you'll see them. -Landan lmr.com/products/79-93-Mustang-Exterior-Lighting

Just wait, soon they start leaking because these are made with cheap junky seals. Mine only lasted a year before they completely filled with water.

What rims are on the black fox in the lift in the back ground
Nice garnet
I have a major issue with cutting up factory wiring.
If you follow correct splicing, soldering and shrink rap procedures, that issue should disappear!
I lost my connectors and the round thing to hold the bulb
Those look way better
Do you all sell the connectors only
What connector are you looking for? -Landan
All of them I lost them
naah man! i've looked every where!! even ford told me they dont make the original ones anymore!! i just hope i find some used ones in good shape since mine are allmost useless
