It made the car very un-intuitive to drive but Vettel mastered it & used it to mask his shortcomings. Weber never could get on top of it & hated it (before EBD Weber put up a much better fight against Seb. After Seb got his magic trick though, it was no contest). Drivers like Raikkonen, Alonso & Hamilton excel in pointy cars (as long as the front end is responsive). Even this year Leclerc has confirmed that the Ferrari has a bit of inherent instability @ the rear, but it doesn't affect him like it does Vettel so add him to the list of drivers who don't seem mind a pointy car. It's always been Seb's Achilles heel, however.

I can't shake the feeling that the rear end of the Ferrari has let down Vettel so many times. This is due to the aerodynamic efficiency philosophy which kills downforce. The return of ground effect when 2021 regulations take effect might really suit his driving style.

To be fair, all they need to do is set the throttle sensivity a little lower and he would be fine. I think the guy knows what he's doing, it's just that sometimes he goes too aggressive on the throttle. As for the rest of the spins, these are mistakes that everyone makes.

There are plenty of reasons for a spin. It's not like just being too aggressive on the throttle. Also the Suspension, Downforce, Break setup or stearing can lead to a sudden overstear. Cmon, this is not a game.

Inducing more understeer would definitely help too. The car just doesn't seem to suit his driving style.
