- I have compiled a compilation of all of haas driver Nikita Mazepin spins over the 2021 formula one season. He got dropped for the 2022 f1 season because of the war in russia and his dad sponsor uralkali stopping to support haas f1

He is a skillfull driver and he proved it , just he is suitable to go on the dirt rather than on asphalt , he was just in the wrong competition , they are 2 different worlds in motorsport. Some of these spins is his poor car control and heavy foot on throttle but a lot of them show that the car still spins with no throttle input or kerb usage which may unsettle the car indicating that some of these spins are caused by just how bad the car was.
its clear, the car has no sense of slip its there and then its literally gone in a instant , its just a terrible car for especially a rookie to drive

Most of these clips make it clear that it was mainly the cars doing. It would spin when under no throttle, the slightest touch of a kerb would spin it.

I don't like Mazepin, but I'd like to play devil's advocate and talk about some of the wider issues that he exposed:
First off, driving a Formula1 car is EXTREMELY difficult. The cars have around 1000hp and can pull 5g's in the corners, but what can catch drivers out and cause them to spin is the electric motor delivering instant torque to the wheels. Ditto with the chassis and suspension, which are super stiff to cope with the massive aerodynamic weight at speed. While this is a necessity, it has the adverse affect of making the car very nervous over bumps. Couple that with the constant changes a driver is making per lap at over 200 miles per hour, and even a poorly-timed sneeze can send you into the barrier.
As such, there is a certain caliber of driver that is required to drive in F1 (see the 107% rule), but as you all know that isn't the only contributing factor. In Mazepin's case, he had a decent junior formula career but the deciding factor was always gonna be his access to large sums of money.
As bad of a driver as I think Mazepin is, I can almost empathize with how out of his depth he is, and I think it brings a really interesting opportunity to look at some potential changes made to single-seater racing as a whole. I think the cost cap is a great addition and would love to see it as low as possible, but due to the nature of F1 you'll never eradicate the "pay driver." I think 2 main things need to change: I'd like to see hybrid power units introduced into F2, and a revamp of the Super Licesne system is long overdue. This way, there would be more situations like Lando's, where you have a pay driver that can actually perform.

actually it's a very good video to analyse this habits :o he generally have too much understeer going in, and thus he keeps a lot of positive lock on post apex, almost 95% of this spin is because of him carrying too much steering angle too deep

I hate when people say “oh but you are a nobody so f u”, yes ok but still, doesn’t change a thing, it’s completely unnecessary🤦♂️. If you are butt hurt by what they’ve said than just say it wasn’t either respectful or that it didn’t make sense.
