I am so glad the mesh panties helped and swelling has gone down . I know you are in a lot better condition since this video . Ive seen a maternity pillow that you can detach. Thats cool. Before there were maternity pillows I use to take two pillows and place them in a triangle shape for my spine. I could have created that ...Dang! 😄 You looked great while at Cracker Barrel . That was definitely worth celebrating and getting out the catheter . I won't say much more to give away the details of your video , I don't want to spoil it for others that will watch. However, I am soooooo happy for the great recovery. 😘

Thank you for your videos. I had my surgery wed. We measured 3 fibroids and were expecting a max of probably 6 when she went in she found 26 that needed to be removed. My recovery so far has been good and your videos have certainly helped.

What a blessing! It's amazing when you finally get to know exactly what was causing your pain and get it GONE! You are going to feel so much better once you heal. Prayers for a swift and easy recovery!

I'm trying to stop snacking at night. As soon as midnight hit I am going through the pantry .

Oooh, finding that balance is hard! Sometimes it's in our minds and, sometimes our bodies are trying to tell us something. You will get on track this year!

Why did they give your hormonal pills? I was only given abx and pain meds Tylenol and ibuprofen. I had a lap myomectomy and wasn’t on bc prior.

Hi! It's been a while, but if I recall correctly, they were prescribed to help limit scar tissue in my uterus. My surgery was pretty invasive, so I imagine that this would have been of high concern. I'm glad you were able to have the lap procedure, and I hope you've recovered well. Thanks for watching!

Did the surgery delay your menstrual cycle?

Yes. I had my surgery at the beginning of February and didn't get my next period until early April, if I recall correctly. Edit: for what it is worth, I had not had a cycle in 3 months leading up to surgery because I was instructed to do continuous birth control to prepare my lining. Post-op, I was prescribed estrogen, then progesterone. I was supposed to get a menstrual cycle a week or two after finishing the hormones. It took a little longer, though.
