I will try - it's a little hard to describe. It is kind of "vanilla-ish", but with more of a warm spice to it. It puts me in the mind of a spicy gourmand perfume but not nearly as potent.

I had my first BM maybe two or three days after my surgery (if I recall correctly). First, it will take your body a little while to "wake up" from the anesthesia, which affects your digestion and breathing. Second, some of the meds cause constipation. Take your stool softeners and try to keep fiber in your diet. I also found our Squatty Potty to be helpful. You really don't want to strain much. Your muscles will have gone through a lot and it's painful.

I wash my hair once a week if it's out or once every other week if it's in a protective style. Otherwise, I'm guaranteed some combination of knots, tangles, dryness, and irritated scalp.

Is open myomectomy for multiple fibroid better for someone that wants to concieve in few months or laparoscopy myomectomy

Hi! I'll preface my response by saying every situation is different, so I can only speak from my experience (and those I've talked to). My surgery was open because it absolutely had to be. Most people say that the laparoscopic surgery is definitely preferable because the recovery is better. Even having had the aggressive open surgery, I was told I could try to conceive after six months. I've heard others that have had the lap version say 3 months, 6 months, or even up to a year. Again, it really depends on your individual circumstances and what your doctor recommends. And if you're ever unsatisfied with an answer and you are able, there's nothing wrong with getting a second or third opinion.

Hi! These are great questions. I was a little afraid, as it was my first time having major surgery and my second time being put under. My family and team did an excellent job of setting me at ease. Once the anesthesia starts working, you won't be scared. Lol. I remember being rolled into the hall and waking up in recovery. Nothing in between. Yes, you can have it on your period.

Thank you. Did you stomach better smaller once it was removed? I have 18 cm and belly is big .How many days off from work did you need to fully recover ?

Yes, my stomach did shrink some. I had a 16 week uterus going into my surgery and ended up losing 16 pounds the first two weeks. As far as work is concerned, because I freelance, I wasn't really on a set timer to come back. That said, you have to consider the type of work you do and the environment you work in. The general recovery window for this surgery is 6-8 weeks (no heavy lifting or strenuous exercise before 6 weeks). I would say I was mentally prepared around week 2 or 3, BUT I was still battling fatigue, gas, and shortness of breath. Also, I didn't drive for those first couple weeks. @MacktheMaverick Absolutely! Thanks for your reply. Luckily I'm not relaxed I have Japanese Hair Straightening so the chemical is Ammonium thioglycolate rather than Sodium Hydroxide for example. So the bonds are restructured rather than broken down permanently. So I'm thinking this should work lol. And I wish you the very best with your channel!
