    Great video. I went with the 14pro max for a few reasons, the main one is privacy, then there is the apple eco system, i love the Ultra and the iPad Pro 12.9, the iPad Pro is much smoother and easier operation vs the Android tablets that i had nothing but issues with, also with apple as you touched on, i get all day battery life on my phone and watch so that is great, for example my ultra has been off charge since midnight when i got up for work, it is currently at 75% battery now, my phone same time off charge and is at 36% percent 19 hours later and not having to be charged. My ipad uses the battery up quick as i use it for waze and my eld as well as to connect my gps app for notifications, traffic and weather on my Garmin Dezl OTR 1000 screen.

    It's crazy, I've been a user of Iphone since the iphone 5s all the way up to even the iphone 13 pro, I bought the pixel 4a 5g when it came out just to see what it was like because I tried Samsung and didnt like the texting or all around feel for the operational system. I fell in love with the pixel but always felt the lag of having out dated chip sets and all that so I continued with iphone for main phone up the iphone 13 pro, but after purchasing the pixel 7 pro and after recent updates I have been using it so much as my daily driver that I just sold my iPhone. To each their own and nothing against apple, I guess the eco system of the base android of the Google pixel format mixed with their own chip finally just feels so good to use. I was also following the pixel 6 when it came out and it just had so many bugs that I skipped it and obviously continued with my iPhone, but realizing that Google is a bit behind the other 2 top dogs and still kind of new compared it makes since for them to have a few hiccups, anyways I love they 7 pro and wait to see how the future goes for pixel from here!

    Using P7P from iPhone 12 Pro. There are a lot of benefits and plusses but I’m finding that the screen crashes every so often when it’s just about to open apps. Also the auto rotate takes a couple of seconds to kick in at times and battery is about similar to my iphone. I must admit typing is much better on iphone but wanted to try something new and there weren’t enough changes to justify a switch from iphone 12 pro to 14 pro. Just my thoughts.

    Since, I’ve been in both ecosystems for quite some time, there’s something about the Apple Ecosystem that I cannot quite comprehend that has made me stay in the Apple Ecosystem for two years now. I had been a part of Android Ecosystem for 3-4 years, with Samsung’s Note 5 being my first ever phone that I got. It was an amazing device, but the display had so many issues! I had it fixed by my father many, MANY times!
    But, I am in the Apple Ecosystem for two tears now, iPhone 12 Pro was the first phone that my father got for me, alongside an iPad 9th gen; with me later getting AirPods Pro, and an Apple Watch from my collected pocket money. I am just loving being a part of the Apple Ecosystem. It’s smooth, easy to use, and does all the things that I can ask from a device.

    @NOLATechy Год назад +49

    I agree that both phones are probably the top for each OS, but I chose Pixel. Why?...Mostly price, but also...I'm pretty impressed with the Pixel 7 Pro camera. Everyone keeps saying that the iPhone is better, but from what I'm seeing in these videos, the Pixel seems to have a more accurate sky color. The sky color from the iPhone seems to have too much "purple" in some of the shots. Also the front facing camera video at 8:45 the sky in the background is much more gray and washed out, while the sky in the Pixel is much more blue. Also the macro mode at 8:35 in the video, the white crystals on the rock are much sharper in the Pixel 7 Pro image.
    Another reason is the Pixel currently does seem smoother. This video also proves my point that Geekbench scores are not the "be-all to end all" when it comes to phone speed. What is more important is optimization of hardware to software and Google has proven that you don't need a 1800/5500 Geekbench score to have a fast and smooth phone.
    As for battery life, I don't care if a phone can get an extra 2-3 hours use. If I'm going to be charging my phone every night when I go to bed, and I still have 30-40% battery left, what difference does the extra battery make? All I care about is that the phone can go from 6am to 10pm. If I need extra time without a charge, I can turn on Extreme Battery Saver and get through until the next morning if necessary. How do I know this works? Because I've done this before. I actually tested the Extreme Battery Saver on my Pixel 5 and you can watch the video here: ruclips.net/video/JqrQlszyM04/видео.html
    And lastly, I chose Pixel because Apple is just too much of a closed OS. If I would have chosen iPhone, I would have only been able to utilize the benefits if I owned other Apple products. I can't send iMessage or Airdrop to my Microsoft Surface Pro 7 PC, Acer Chromebook or Samsung Android tablet. I can't use iMessage on anything but an Apple device, whereas with Android on my Pixel 7 Pro, I can connect it to my Microsoft Surface Pro 7 and send and receive text messages, photos, and websites. I can connect to my Acer Chromebook and reap the same benefits of iPhone to MacBook for connectivity. Pixels work and connect with other manufacturer's devices, whereas in order to get the most benefit from an iPhone, Apple only works with Apple, and Apple is very EXPENSIVE! Even though I can afford Apple, I'd rather spend my money in better ways than making Apple richer. I purchased my Surface Pro 7, Chromebook and Pixel 7 Pro (with trade-in) for less than what Apple charges for just the MacBook Pro 14 inch. Honestly, I don't feel I'm missing a thing by not having other Apple products. Don't get me wrong, I like my iPhone, I just prefer my Pixel 7 Pro more because I can use it with my other devices much better than I can with the iPhone. A prime example is Aaron having to use his iPhone to group chat with his family because they all use iPhones. Why is this only a problem on Apple devices?

      I've seen many pixel videos , a lot of them have the pixel coming out second best in a lot of camera areas , and in fact in some big in-depth comparisons the galaxy actually trumped both the pixel and iPhone in most areas ,but none of them are perfect though , there is no beating a dedicated camera with a tailor chosen lens for a specific job , although that's not the cheap option.

    I was debating whether to get an iPhone 14 Pro Max or a Google Pixel 7 Pro just yesterday. Both of them are more feature rich than I will ever need so it really came down to cost. I decided to go with the Pixel 7 Pro because Google just made a deal I could not refuse. As a Google One member I was able to not only get $150 off the retail price at the google store but I also received a 10% store credit that I can use toward other purchases on their store. In addition Google allowed me the finance the entire cost of the phone at 0% interest. My carrier (T-Mobile) was demanding I fork over $300 up front and then finance the remainder for 24 months for the iPhone 14 Pro Max. The monthly finance charge for the iPhone 14 Pro Max was actually more expensive than the Pixel 7 Pro. I have been using Google mail, drive, meet and many other services for years. I am already tied to their ecosystem via other purchases like Chromebooks so it was really a no brainer for me. Apple wasn't even close to deal that I could get from Google!

    I really believe that the iPhone Dynamic island on RUclips videos has a reasonably easy fix. If you pinch outward to the left of the screen, it just barely zooms out enough to fully get rid of that notch. If RUclips made an update that allowed you to slightly zoom out, at least on iPhones, it would fix this issue.

If I wasn’t so deep into the Apple ecosystem the 7 Pro would be a candidate for a new daily. If I were to move to Android it would probably be a Samsung (phone, watch, earbuds, etc.). I have a pixel 6 and an iphone 13. Can't go wrong with either camera really. Sometimes I prefer photos from the pixel 6, sometimes I prefer photos from the iphone 13. Each has their own strengths in different lighting conditions. Pixel tends to underexpose on a sunny day, iphone tends to over-expose when lighting isn't particularly good .

      @@marksouthwell4490 yup after 13 days with the 6A, I'd backtrack on "so much better." I definitely do still prefer the Pixel style, but it's not like the iPhone is bad.
      What I don't like about the iPhone is it crushes the shadows and oversharpens a lot of times, especially in low light. Makes the photos look like a painting. The Pixel also has a cooler tone/white balance which I like. But either way both are good of course

    I was put off the 7 Pro due to all the bugs I suffered with my 6 Pro. Having bought the 14 Pro Max, I’m pretty happy, the 48mp camera shots are excellent, but I’m a bit disappointed with the 12mp shots. I’ve bought the Reeflex Pro Camera App and I find it’s better than the native camera alone in most cases apart from the 48mp shots. Hopefully there will be a camera update for the 14 Pro Max eventually. Pixel cameras have always been great, but too buggy a phone for me. ❤

    For anyone having battery problems in iOS 16.2 specifically on 14 Pro & Pro Max, a big fix for me was to reset and erase everything then putting in DFU mode, and connecting to Finder in Mac(iTunes for Windows) and restore it. The firmware flashed, install later iOS version, then grab it on iCloud backup restore. That alone stoped the ghost notifications problem on 14 pro and other bugs. Battery is insanely better after that “clean restore”.
    Mine is lasting almost 2 days heavy use on low battery mode. Normal lasts 1 day and half.
    Really hope this helps anyone with this type of issue!
