I got the Pixel 7 in white. Love it. Coming from the iPhone 12 pro. Believe me the Pixel 7 is incredible. Been using iPhones since 2013. This is my first Android phone since I had a Samsung Galaxy S4. The reception is so much better than my old iPhone. Which constantly dropped out. The Pixel 7 hasn't done this once. I got the Pixel watch as well.
I am in The Same boat. Using 13pro and maybe found Finally my Android Phone to Switch?
@@Cuenowine1907 go for it. A few years ago I bought a OnePlus I immediately hated it and sent it back.
This thing I can't put it down. Stock Android is the closest thing to iOS in terms of updates. But i'm finding it far superior.
How's the camera quality on tiktok? Since they finally partnered with tiktok
@@jiyon167 Yeah. And now with own chip and improvements, learnings since The 6. Here we go. Bye Apple??
@@Edjeason I don't use Tik Tok unfortunately. But I haven't seen any lowering in resolution uploading to my Social media.

Also huge thumbs up for straight away telling that you recommend the pixel 7. Original, straight ..no beating around the bush. Crazy enough that just made me watch the whole video. Nice piece of psychology there 😉💪🏾

Hi Mark, thanks for your continued excellent coverage of this launch, if you read this comment please keep us updated on the overheating issues.
Definitely the standard 7 for me. I'm not much into photography plus I prefer the size and flat display of the 7 over the curved display of the 7 Pro. I'll be upgrading from the 2XL after 5 years of ownership. Been the BEST phone I've ever owned. Can't wait for my new 7!
wow dude same here, i got pixel 2xl now upgraded to pixel 7 lemon green. My pixel 2 xl still is a beast, no lag, when i upgraded to android 11, there was some app issues, but after a while it was fixed, still i use pixel 2xl, it's soo smooth with snapdragon 835 till date, only reason im upgrading to pixel 7 is due to lack of updates on pixel 2xl as back in the days we got only 3 years of security updates
Are you me? I'm coming from a 2XL as well and just swapped to a P7. That 2XL has been the absolute best phone I have ever had but after 5 years of service it is just now starting to show signs of wear (loose charger port, screen burn-in). That 2XL had zero bloatware and is still as fast as the day I started using it. I remember when the P6 came out I was SERIOUSLY considering swapping but the 2XL did EVERYTHING I needed it to do so I stuck it out 1 more year and boy I am glad I did!
After using the 2XL for so long I had the habit of using the "back" button on the lower left of the screen. I just couldn't get used to the "gestures" on the P7 so here is how I got my 3-buttons back:
Go to "Settings", "Accessibility", "System Controls", "System Navigation" then select "3-button navigation".
Had to get used to the fingerprint scanner on the front instead of the back of the phone but I'll get used to it eventually.
@@shanec8380 i just did a factory reset on pixel 2 xl and jeez, its faster than before, lol, i should have used pixel 2 xl for another 2 years, haha. I mean pixel 7 and 2 both feel the same and offcourse 7 has new features etc
I just upgraded from a 5 and the 7's size is significantly bigger but definitely better.
7's a good choice. I have the seven pro and it's kind of fun to play with the macro and the telephone lens from time to time.
Here in Canada Virgin has the 7P on "Black Friday" sale for $720 with a $45 50GB plan. For Canadian prices that is fantastic. They also have the regular model on for $216 with the same plan. If you don't care for the bigger phone, it's pretty damn hard to pass that up.
As someone who actually likes taking pictures especially with the Pixel (3, 5 and 7 Pro)...I must say that MOST people will be happy with the Pixel 7. I have the 7 Pro and so far...I haven't found myself need it in the majority of my time outdoors and picture wise. One thing I might advise is that people put a bit more effort into framing their subject and not just snapping away. I am by no means an expert but damn...the little efforts can pay huge in result. One place that google tends to shine especially for me are background with the sun glaring especially behind the subject and light photography. These two have been especially rock solid and even when the screen doesn't show it, the results are simply amazing.
This is actually a handy advice. I've wanted to upgrade my legacy smartphone to a flagman-like model and now considering to buy 7/7pro pixel. I'm planning on taking pictures with it and I was doubting whether pro version brings a huge difference for me with zoom camera and macro mode. Your comment helped me with that decision. Thanks!
What @Ghost in the wires said. Thanks mate! 👍
Same here, from Pixel 3, 5 and now 7Pro and I can see difference with the 📷 indeed, the 5 was a good one, but this one is just sublime!
@@monicamv4528
I have the 3A and currently using the 5A 5G. On the Pixel 7Pro does the camera have a 'Pro mode' that allows a person to use manual focus, or set the shutter, or ISO?
Best
Duane
Thank you for comparing the cameras! Would also love to see up close shots, for the macro on the Pro vs the non-pro. I don't take photos of flower petals or insects, but I do take up close shots of food I make and would like to see if I need the macro lens for that.
I’m looking into macro myself. From what I’ve been able to see so far though, the 7 doesn’t take macro but the 7 pro does.
I normally don't comment on videos - Just wanted to say thank you for a quick, to the point, no bullshit review of both phones. This was extremely helpful. Thank you! Subscribed!
Only reason I went for pro was the 120hz display, Hazel color, extra camera, and larger battery. Otherwise, I’m incredibly jealous of the 7’s flat screen and more compact design overall.
This is what I'm feeling 😅 But what's really stopping me is that 6.7" display, it's so huge.
@@triciarose389 I came from an iPhone 12 Pro Max so I'm used to it by now but I can see how it would be intimidating. I think I could get used to the smaller screen but again, I'm in love with that hazel color and the 120hz display especially
@@danyalhussain8283 I got it as MSRP unfortunately as it was before any sales, but I traded in my old XR for about $400 credit, so really only came out paying about $400 myself. Adjusting wasn't as hard as I initially thought it'd be, but the biggest hurdle is not having certain stuff immediately available (Apple Card stuff and anything in iCloud including my photos). I'm overall INCREDIBLY happy. I wont definitively say I'm done with iPhones, but I might keep android for a while. The BIGGEST downside for me is the camera. The 7 pro's camera is good, but if you zoom in Snapchat or even in the camera app, it's not near as smooth as iPhone. In fact, I avoid zooming all together on snapchat for that reason because it jumps from like 1x to 5x and it's super choppy. I wanted to say it was Snapchat's optimization, but because it's sorta there in the camera app too I'm not so sure.
@@gcoffline how is it going? is it worth to get it?
@@themin4ugas Sorry, just now seeing this. Absolutely! I'm in love with the phone. My only complaints is that the face unlock is nowhere near as good as iPhone, and the zoom can be a bit buggy, specifically in snapchat
When I'm buying the pixel 7 Pro I'm not looking at the pixel 7, I'm looking at phones in flagship territory with pricing. You can't deny that the pixel 7 Pro is cheaper than the competition.
Pretty much sums up why I upgraded my P6 to P7. Couldn't pass up the incentives ($440 trade-in and $100 Goog GC)! I don't need a phone that's top of the line but the main reason was the phablet-sized P7P is just too darn big for me.
Hi Mark. Did you get any firmware updates on the P7P? Apparently that sorts out much of the heating issue.
I bought one last week, made all the updates and immediately found it overheating and freezing after video chatting for just 10 minutes. Could be a buggy batch of hardware if this supposed update is a fix imho.
Larger battery doesn't always equate to longer battery life. The pro has a much higher res screen, 120hz, higher peak brightness, Extra 5G mode, extra tele lens to power when needed. Battery life should be very comparable between the two.
I skimmed through the review , does the pixel 7 have 120hz? Thanks
@@seinfeld8812 the pixel 7 has a 90 hz while the pro has 120 hz. It's also a 1080p screen vs 1440p. 1440p is double the pixel count of 1080p, which is why it doesn't always mean better battery life.
Excellent comment, thanks. It reflects my own common sense grasp that a smaller phone is ok with a smaller battery and can't be compared in that way with the larger phone.
@@seinfeld8812 only 90 hz.
You can turn down all of those for more battery life.
Google should know that phone size is a deal breaker! I would buy the pro version of the pixel 7 in size 6.1-6.3 for 799-849 in a heartbeat.. But now I must buy a cut down version because the pro is too damn big! >:|
Yeah this alone keeps me from buying it atm, I really want the 7 pro features in the regular 7 body. Might just wait and hope they realize this is a deal breaker for a lot of people until the 8 next year.
Nothing more to add!
I would have bought the pro, but it is far to big for me.
Even the Pixel 7 is almost too big.
Same here. I don't mind refresh rate etc but I would happily upgraded from my Pixel 6 if I could get macro and optical zoom in a reasonable form factor:/
@@matthias1619
That's absolutely true!
But the Pixel 7 is pretty good phone.
I really like it.
@@Fasciana1 sure, but the 7 (non XL) hasn't enough new features justifying a upgrade - for me. But of course everyone values features different :) The 7 XL which has Tele+macro is simply out of question by its size, even the 7 and 6 is too big for my taste, but unfortunately the consumer-consens seems to be: the bigger the better :D
Nice honest review.. I got the pixel 7 pro mainly as wanted better camera and zoom.. the 300 pound difference is a lot for what it is really.. good phone though.. I have the pixel 6 too.
Mark, any overheating issues with the regular pixel 7 (non pro model) in daily use or recording? Perhaps the pro model is more likely to overheat due to 120hz refresh and 1440P resolution.
No over heating on the 7 pro with the 1440p resolution on.
I was struggling with whether the Pixel 7 or 7 pro was the best choice but when Verizon swung me a deal where the 7 pro will be $450 over three years of monthly payments, there was no doubt the 7 pro was my immediate choice. And I will never regret it because of the incredible 12g memory and the larger screen. An iPhone that would meet those specs would cost at least $1200.
What have you done, you could have bought pixel 7 for like 500 USD. But you had to chose the monthly payments which no doubt will cost you more than 450. Not to mention the possibility of breaking your phone in 3 years. Just when you finish paying you’ll switch to another phone
how does monthly payment cost you more? you pay monthly, no extra fees besides the 60 dollar activation fee which most of the time they waive, and if you're thinking about the data plans then you have to pay it either way. also even if you break it, it still saves money even if you have to keep paying it. Not to mention he said 7 pro for 450, which overall is better than 500 for a 7@@everythingsfinett3903
After watching 10,000 videos, you cleared my doubt. I will go for pixel 7. Which is a value deal for such a powerful smartphone. Thanks.
would like other opinions video too that compares both of them to see if i made the right purchase choice
But the Pixel 7 Pro has one more thing - Autofocus on ultrawide camera that allows Macro shots - this was not covered in video.
@@mannsinghs those extra features are great if you’re 100% gonna use it. Other than that. The cameras are the same on both phones minus those extra features. Definitely gonna get excellent photos on either one.
I couldn't decide but went with the pro. 1. Prefer hazel color 2. Want telephoto - already having used that camera it's great to have. 3. Bigger screen.
4. it has 120hz
I think the big difference for most people is the screen size difference.
google translating and speech recognition are way better on google pixel than on the ones available in the app store..you get translations on real time..but has Google improved it? I almost got the 6 but I am wondering if Google improved it on the 7 models?
Does the fingerprint sensor work with any screen protector? Asking because I had a phone that once I put a screen protector, I couldn't use the fingerprint unlock anymore.
I’m heavily considering the regular pixel 7. The only thing holding me back is being worried it will have the same unstable UI full of software bugs. Part of me wants to get it but then I’d rather stay on my iPhone 11 if it’s not stable.
I've been using the regular Pixel 7 for a few days now and it is honestly super good. I recommend it over the 7 pro. I didn't find any bugs yet
@@MarksTech the only things I’ve seen are the overheating and screen freezing. But another huge concern I had after the 6a is call quality. On the 6a there was so much static it was practically unusable.
@@crazyfun5150 I’ve done about 8 to 10 hours of calling, both phones are great!:)
I did experience overheating, though, but that was only on the pro
@@MarksTech thanks for letting me know. With the great trade in values I’m leaning towards getting a pixel 7.
@@MarksTech Yeah, I immediately fell in love with the pro but when it started overheating (really hot!) after 10 min+ long video chatting, I returned it and resigned myself to waiting a couple of years until they can overcome that problem. But after watching this video and your reply here, I'm going to go for the 7! Best 7 vs 7 Pro vid! Thanks!
$20 + my Pixel 6 got me a Pixel 7 😁
Wow! Such a fantastic review. Thanks a lot. I also purchased the standard Pixel 7 (C$650 - Black Friday deal) because of its more compact size and a flat screen. I'm upgrading from Pixel 3 and 4
Hey I have a question for you. I'm considering getting the pixel 7 but I'm worried about bugs, and I've read online there is issue with the camera's glass breaking spontaneously. Have experienced persistent bugs or performance issues? what do you think about the issue of camera's glass?
Thanks in advance
Hey, do both have getsure nav? And also support 3rd party gesture nav? I use nova and want to keep navigating by gesture
I jumped from the 6Pro to the 7Pro last week. I do like it. The differences are subtle from what I've noticed so far but they're all definite improvements.
Did they fix the crappy finger print unlock? Yes I know it has face unlock, but who knows if it's any good? Sick of my 6a telling me it does not recognize my prints. Ugh.
I do have a question. I have the Pixel 3a and when I take it outside, I cannot see the screen at all when it's a sunny day. Glare, glare and more glare. This makes taking pictures outside nearly impossible. Perhaps I can fix this in settings. How does the Pixel 7 screen fare in sunlight?
Looking forward to the Pixel videos!! Have a good weekend Mark!! 📱✊📱❤️❤️
Thank you for mentioning the reception. Most reviewers seem to not know that the main function of a phone is communication. I just got a Pixel 7 and with Red Pocket GSMA (at&t) I can not get 5g service or voice over wifi. With a T-mobile sim card it works fine. It must be an AT&T thing. Also, not being able to screen cast to my LG TV is very disappointing.
I'm more concerned of the size of the 7 pro. I would rather go for it but it seems too big. My current phone is about the same size as the 7 by the looks of it and I already have troubles using it with 1 hand, keeping it in my pocket, and it's heavy. Can anyone tell me how it feels like using the 7 pro regarding this?
Thank you for the lowdown on Pixel 7 series. After having issues with my iPhone 7 couple years back I switched to Pixel 3 which has been great for my use. Sure, I've missed being able to use Facetime and iMessage but besides that I was all in Google ecosystem, photos and all. I also got a Sony Xperia 1 mk3 uberphone which which was supposed to be an answer to all my wants but at the end it was just too much of the phone for not enough benefit. So I did try Pixel 6 last year which I did find good but physically too close to my Sony. I missed the smaller size of Pixel 3/iphone 7 so I got iPhone 12 mini which I am currently using. Would I consider another Pixel? For sure if there was a "mini" option. Pixel 8 Pro Mini is what I am hoping for next year as this time Pixels are still stuck in "phablet" mode. Again, glad to see/hear that Google is keeping up with Pixel.
The 6a is a good mini option, it's quite narrow. The 7 is only slightly larger..
Great review. Thanks. I noticed that whatever phone you placed on your left hand, for some reason or other, it appeard larger than the other phone.
The thing i would say it's that the screen in the pixel 7 pro seems to be a more modern compared to the normal one, the pixel 7 still suffers from screen tint( usually green)in lower brightness as well as image retention.
love the way you just told which you picked at the beginning !
so Mark's Tech...what is the performance of the telephoto zoom and macro mode on these phones here?
Thank you so much for this great analysis for an uninformed consumer. Was leaning towards the 7 but you clinched it. So glad you mentioned Best Buy too. Thanks!
You da man. You nailed the points I used to go for the Pixel 7 a couple weeks ago. So far, no issues have been encountered, and I liked it very much. Thank you !
I upgraded from the OnePlus 7 pro to pixel 7 pro. The switch has been seamless. The two phones are so similar. Pixel does everything my OnePlus did, just much more redined. Not to mention the form factor is very similar.
As a oneplus 7 pro owner this really helped
Loved my one plus 7 pro, except all the cameras randomly stopped working in less than a year and forced me to replace it. Common issue. Its what stopped me getting future one pluses.
This is exactly what I was looking for thanks!
I have got the Pixel 7 in Snow (white) and am really happy with this phone! Coming from the Pixel 4a.
Greets from Germany, Peter
Great video! Even tho you went straight to the point you still covered a lot of details. Thank you!
Does the pixel 7 have a macro Lense for close ups?
Any comparison and recommendation between Samsung Galaxy S 22 plus and Google Pixel 7/7 Pro? All I can find are Pixel 7 Pro vs S22 Ultra.
hi there , i really need to know if the pixel 7 also have LPTO display or not , and if not does that gonna affect the battery ??
I believe they both have the same LPTO displays.
I work at atnt and only sold 3 models of the pixel 7s and no joke. All 3 of them were returned. I've personally not heard the best reviews for the pixels. I used to have the 5. S22 is the way to go imo.
The most important thing for me is swiping the side of the phone to go back, on the 7 the glass is sharper and less round so didn't feel nice doing it, the 7 pro has rounder edges so much smoother to go back. All the software and hardware differences are fine to talk about but this one action that I do probably 100 times a day meant that it was the pro for me even if the standard 7 would probably be a better size and spec for me.
I have a 7 I'm testing to decide whether I want the 7 pro or the 7. As far as screen movement, it just takes a small finger movement to move the 7 screen right to left. I don't even touch the edge of the phone. There is also a one hand setting I haven't used that should make it even easier. The overall gestures used on the phone do not compare to the Moto gestures, That is something I really miss. The other thing that I really, really don't like is the position of the search bar icon frozen at the bottom of the screen. I prefer it at the top but it doesn't fit the Google business plan. Also, I prefer either a black or white color for that search bar and I don't like the colors available for each. There are other options available but I don't like those either. They have also frozen the weather and date/time button on the top left of the screen which to me is a disaster. It makes the whole top unavailable to other applications except a video play area on the right. I have a transparent weather app I would like to use but cant. The one other feature I dislike is the night lite. I use the night lite to curb the brightness of the white colors. On the 7 I have you simply can't get a proper adjustment; it is too yellow. One other feature that is helpful is the ability to adjust the size of the icons. I use a display setting that uses five icons across. By slightly resizing the icons it also reduces the size of the search bar and that gives the whole screen a better look. There are also some features not mentioned here that may have originally been developed by Moto. One is a quick menu app that makes it easier to handle things like turning the unit off and on, adjusting screen brightness and sound, etc. That would be the first item I would turn on. I don't particularly like to press any mechanical buttons if I don't have to. It makes the phone much easier to use.
Hey mark, any update on the heating issues?
I watched 1000 but this video summed up everything as if you entered my mind, this video should be the reference .. Thank you from 🇸🇦
Hi, I am from Mexico and I am able to get the pixel 7 unlocked. Do you think a will have signal issues? I live near El Paso.
The main reasons to get the Pixel 7 Pro would be:
1) The additional RAM for better "app running in the background" management. Not that the Pixel 7 can't handle what you throw at it, but the additional 4GBs RAM really ensure you don't lose your game if you have too many apps open in the background.
2) The 4K screen. If you have RUclips Premium or any other video app and want to watch 4K videos on your phone, then you would need the Pixel 7 Pro's 4K screen as you would not be able to watch 4K content on the 1080p screen of the Pixel 7. This is also another thought, if you record 4K video and want to play it back on your phone to view it, you could only view it in 1080 as It would be downgraded to 1080p for your screen.
They are both excellent devices, but I went with the Pixel 7 Pro myself. I think the speakers sound a little louder, clearer and have more base as well. Also, when you add up the cost for all the additional items on the Pixel 7 Pro, you can further understand and appreciate the $300 difference.
Great video! I really appreciate how you clarified all the differences between the two devices. Thanks!
The 7 pro has a 1440p screen, not 4k. 4K is massively higher than 1440p. We're not up to the technology that allows 4k screens on a phone yet.
@@davidgreen8431 Close enough... lol
@@davidgreen8431 Sony gives 4K screen in Xperia mobiles since last couple of years. It still not mainstream because Samsung has not put it in its flagships yet
@@InternetDisplayofPower oh that's interesting. Its such a shame that Sony phones aren't as mainstream as other brands
@@davidgreen8431 4k on a smartphone is overkill. Hell, for many, even 1440p on a smartphone is overkill. That's why 1080p smartphones still exists. Lower cost and they generally get better battery life due to fewer pixels.
That's probably why the pixel 7 pro runs hotter due to having double the pixels and a higher refresh rate. Since they both have the same chipset, it's going to be working harder on the pro model.
Interesting video I was trying to purchasing the 7 pro but it was out stock online in stores, so I settled for the 7 which I do love it has a great size, and wonderful camera can't complain. They both take nice photos, battery life is pretty good on the 7 it lasts me a day which is great. My favorite thing on this phone is the new features why people can react to my msg with emoji and I can't seem to do the same?
Where to buy pixel phones or do we have Google store in Spain or Italy? thank you guys
Thanks a lot for sharing! Very clear and fair enough comments!
How’s the finger print scanner? I had the 6 and 6 pro. Well got the 6 and decided the 6 pro for the camera was better for me. But I remember the scanner was blah
How is the battery life now with the recent updates as I've heard it went down alot?
What about the upcoming pixel 7a, is it supposed to be better than the 7 or a slimmed version of the 7?
your thumbnail looks like max tech's style , good one !
I subbed right after the quick and short answer less than 1 minute into the video. And I'll keep watching. 😌
One thing I might have missed if it was in the video, but on the Google store page it shows the Pixel 7 can’t take macro photos but the 7 Pro can. I don’t have any reason to believe this wasn’t a software limitation to give people more reason to buy the pro over the non-pro but felt it was worth mentioning since they’re all adding it (back)
It's a hardware limitation. The P7P has a different wide angle lens with autofocus, whereas the P7 has the same wide angle lens as last year's P6.
I am confused about the 5g network support. Should I buy the 7 pro for the ultra band 5g? I have tmobile, does the ultra band support of the pixel 7 pro make a difference?
I have an I Phone 13 pro that I would like to trade in the beginning of December the phone has a pay off but it should be less in December will I be able to purchase the google 7 or 7 pro at a reasonable price?
So what of this two is better if i'm changing from a galaxy s10?
Nice video! comparison is really helpful. Small coorecion - Bits and Byte are different. Mbps - Mega Bytes per second, Bits is smaller unit that adds up to make a byte.
Great information, thanks for sharing... I also just have one thing to say, the word is "correction" not 🚫"coorecion". Thanks for correcting him 😀
Question, can I cast this phone to my tv if I don’t have chrome cast? I don’t want exclusive google products just to do what I can do with a Samsung.
I'm thinking about trading in myself and that pixel 7 along with the s22 and iphone 14 are my big 3 contenders im trying to make a decision on. cost-wise it's the cheapest but not by much for me. like 25 a month and 0 down vs 33 a month and 0 down vs 31 a month and 50 down. Hard to make a decision since i know i'll be locked in for at least 2 years.
Which one has an FM radio or better GPS?
I am in Canada and I found a Pixel 7 128GB for $575. The Pixel 7 Pro is $879 so around $300 more in Canada as well. I personally, rarely ever use the telephoto lens because I just prefer the quality of a picture from the main lens or ultrawide lens. I had a Samsung s20 before so I am coming from 120hz, I barely notice the difference between 90hz and 120hz. The Pixel 7 is 1080p which is plenty sharp considering it is only 6.4 inches big. Other then that there are no major differences. If you are coming from an older phone then I recommend the Regular Pixel 7 over the Pixel 7 Pro.
hi thanks for the video, do you think it worths wait for the black friday to buy it? thanks
My pixel 7 is missing the magic erase. Is it a setting that i can add it?
Thanks for the honest opinion; that clears it up for me. BTW, they should be Hz, GB, and _aluminium,_ not "hz" (hecto-zepto), "gb" (gram-barns), and "aluminum". Letter case matters in the metric system, and "aluminum" was declared incorrect over 30 years ago.
Watch a few comparisons because in trying to decide between this 2 and this is the best video I found to help me decide.
I like the straightforwardness friend. Suscribed!
Interesting take on these Pixals. I switched from a Samsung S21-5G & it took a while to get used to in customization. Generally I like it, bought it outright & put a protective skin onnthe reverse to protect the back & camera bar from scratches. I find the battery charge is good & I charge at different intervals, not always down to 10% & it still performs well. I chose the Lemongrass colour & since May '23 its been fine. Like all gadgets like this, get a decent bumper case & screen cover.
Thanks for the info I've got my Google pixel 7 coming to day so at least I know I've picked the right one 😀
How good is the Audio on these phones. Also do you have headphone jack
Can you make a video about the cameras in social media just like you did with ta 6 pro
I think it is mostly about the Camera I miss a optical zoom so much for snapshots with my family or at concerts digital zoom is fine but as soon as the conditions are no longer perfekt (Light, moving object) You can forget the digital zoom to get nice pictures. So for me the main selling point for the Pro isn't the Display or the Connectivity it is the Camera and the battery
i love the fact that you gave your concise recommendation at the beginning of the video, and then said "but if you wanna know why, keep watching". i like such format of information presentation.
How are the heat issues? How hot does it get watching videos?
What about astrophotography comparison? I still have Pixel 3a here and its astrophotography (night mode) is still brilliant so I wonder about those Pixel 7 series?
Thank for cutting to the chase. You've got a new subscriber now for that reason alone (haven't even finished the video yet!)
Sick, thanks for the review dude. Getting the 7.
I was going with the P7 and then Google offered $925 trade for my S22 Ultra (256G)....Duhh, had to go with the P7P. Was looking forward to a smaller phone, but I do watch content on my phone it works. Thanks for he Vid!
What made you choose p7p over the s22u ? I have a s22u and not seeing a reason to switch.
@@cmaysautoyt it's mostly nostalgia. I have had the P1, 3, 4, and 6. Some of my best pics are from the Pixels. The S22 Ultra performs excellent. I'm not as happy with some of the pics from the S22. I don't like the separate app stores. It's not an issue functionally. I missed some of the pixel exclusives.
@@frankm8252 oh okay makes sense 👍
I absolutely love that you gave your answer (opinionated ofc) at the beginning. Props to you
Audio speaker quality between the two?
I like that you gave us an answer. Most reviewers just say at the end you should choose by yourself. This one is resolving. Nice!
What's also a good deal is that existing Google Fi customers (like me) can get $100 off the Pixel 7/7 Pro. I'm gonna get the regular 7 in white.
New customers get $200 off. Apparently the offer expires on the 20th, and (of course) you have to order it through the Google Store.
(Didn't mean to sound like a salesman, I just saw it in an email)
I had the same issue but it was trying to decide whether to buy the hazel or snow 7 pro. I wouldn't waste time on the 7 it gives up too much, the flat screen is the only plus to the 7.
I love how you get straight to the point. Very refreshing
Wonderful video Mark! Just wondering if you put both phones on the table...do they stay flat or is there a camera bump on the back? Thanks!
There is a camera bump but it doesn’t wobble :)
@@MarksTech Thanks for the information! It's exactly what I wanted to know!
Could somebody help me.
I'm 70 year's old. I have an old lg g8, with Sprint. They been sending me messages that my phone won't work much longer with their newer system or something. I'm thinking of the Google Pixel 7, the cost savings sounds good with my limited income. I'm not real happy with Sprint though, so I may change provider's also. I'm reading where some folk's are getting a discount, or savings, where is the best place to buy the Google Pixel 7?
Thank you, John
Is any of these two pixel phones has water proof and anti scratch screen surface ??
I struggle to see my Moto G9 screen in any amount of sunlight. Hows the 7 and Pro in full sunlight?
Great clear, concise, honest, methodical review that so many other reviewers struggle to do. Certainly helped me choose which model.(The 7 by the way). Ma y thanks man. Greetings from Scotland 👍
Thanks so much! :)
Finally! Someone who is direct and detailed, thank you for helping me make a decision.
Great content man, thanks
Can screen protectors fit on the pixel 7 pro?
Great video Actually HELPED 👍
