- In this video, I review the latest season of Big Brother US, BB25, which was a season of massive highs and massive lows to where while I am mixed on the season now, it still contained one of the best six week stretches in BB history to where I obviously I end up talking about this season for a ridiculous amount of time with this now being my new longest season review by quite a bit.

This season started off great. The Izzy boot week was one of my favorite pre jury weeks. And the double eviction was awesome. But the zombie twist killed the game, and the season never recovered from there. The Cam backdoor and the double backdoor of Americory made for some great tv, so did Felecia, but the second half of the season dragged on.
Imagine a bank robbery where the criminal shoots himself in the foot every step along the way pops all the tires in his getaway van, but still gets off scot-free because the police were convinced he was innocent beforehand, leading to thinking he pulled off the greatest heist of all time.
This is a great description of Circie's and Jared's game moves!
First half was so good, meme-blue evictions had some good moments. After that it was an all time slog
Hearing you yell "SHUT THE FUCK UP" at the end made me audibly laugh

my biggest issue with this season is how different the edited show was from the live feeds. they really didn’t give much screen time to izzy when she was running the show for the first few weeks.
also they really watered down the series of events that led to the izzy eviction.
They also did not show Cameron in an honest way, nor did they with Jag, Bowie Jane, or even Matt down the stretch. A lot of more likeable people on the live feeds took a backseat on the show because the edit kept trying to obviously show the disliked people in a complete opposite light.
It's been this way since at least BB23. We could've used some of the more iconic feed moments that year to break up the monotony, and BB24 had me confused as hell because I didn't realize just how bad Taylor was getting it. Until I read about it, I thought she was just merely being pushed aside for the most part minus the one fight they actually showed. -_-

I think the season was great, and i was having so much fun, until the double eviction. I mean can we all agree that was one of the worst finales ever?
i disagree i think the finale was fun it was the weeks leading up to it which was bad, i mean we kinda had no idea who was gonna win between matt and jag and the cirie jared reveal was gold

can we be serious on how the invisible hoh is probably the worst twist in big brother history, giving a strong physical threat to win two hohs in a row literally ruined the entertainment of the season, especially because jag’s social game is extremely poor and depending on comps to win the game. twist led to the worst winner in this bb era lmao
I think it's a good twist for like a week 1 or 2, but it's too obvious midgame when everyone has already established their sides of the house.
Jag just might be the worst winner the show has ever seen.
As a first time BB viewer, I felt this was an all time great season until the double backdoor. Also, this season had an all time great cast, despite some weak points. Although I’m left frustrated to no end by the last few weeks, I can’t wait to watch more big brother.

One of my fav cast of all time. We had some serious duds but the 100 days let us get to know everyone on a real level, which left me with a sense I’ll remember these guys for a long while when I think of big brother.

Given that BB20 wasn't that long ago, you'd think it'd be too early to retread it. But nope, BB25 somehow manages it, but even more extreme. Great prejury, slog of a postjury. Not helped by production seemingly deciding to just shoot themselves in the foot with a minigun on multiple occasions. Making the zombie week...well, a week. Letting Jag play 2 HOHs in a row. Overly physical comps, including a stretch of the same exact comp structure.
And strategically, this feels like one of the worst casts in history. Like, let's look at who I would consider the top 5 players. Matt, I actually don't have too much to knock him for aside from taking a bit to pick up the game. Cirie is a masterful social player but her strategic acumen is much more suited towards Survivor's timeline. Cory and America had a ton of potential and skill but also had plenty of missteps along the way. And Jag literally got voted out in week 4, and didn't even really improve after that.
OMG when you brought up Kacy beating Tyler I just realized Mat is literally what I thought he would be a clone of Tyler. Same placement with basically the same controversy around it. 😂😂😂
The only difference being Matt being problematic asf 😭, and ig jag was a tad more strategic than Kaycee

@@legendarysingh2173 Almost everyone who has ever been in the big brother house has said mean things, including players people love. I also don’t see how quoting someone equates to being a fan of them. He seems to just like the quote, because he initially forgot who actually said it. I don’t see how the Reilly thing was creepy on Matt’s part. He was never pushy or manipulative with her. Part of why he was so upset was because Reilly was his main way of understanding what was going on in the house.

Secondly he was using his platform on big brother to promote Andrew Tate by saying a quote (who is quite literally a human trafficker and done lots and lots of shitty things), lastly, it was creepy that he was so obsessed with Cory and America and acted like Reilly and him were better when they knew each other for 2 WEEKS. 16 days and he thinks they’re a better showmance than americory who literally been together since week 4 😭. Matt’s an amazing player and had one of the best runner up games in bb history, but he’s also a scumbag

Season started off great but ngl that comp run at the end really killed the momentum. I'm sure we can expect CBS to change the comp design from now on. Also reindeer games really left a bad taste since everyon kept hyping it up to be a legends, even winner season lol.
That's big brother fan's faults if they're disappointed lol, unless you wanna count Frankie, Danielle, and Brittany being in the very beginning and very end of season 25, there wasnt even any kind of hint or anything that a legends season was happening, just speculation of a short winter season and a lot of big brother fans and content creators ran with it.

I honestly think the sheer absurdity of Humiliweek made the action of it all even more entertaining. Everybody was playing their asses off while just ignoring a group of kayakers and a giant cardboard cutout. (Also, Cirie and Felicia were perfect to choose each other.)

I feel like I can't rewatch this season because of how far the edited episodes were compared to what was shown on the live feeds. The portrayal of the players (and omitting certain character moments, either good or bad) and how some of the gameplay was presented almost gives me whiplash.
Jag does suck! The only reason he won the comps was because he didn’t have much competition.

This season could've been one of the best of all time if production didn't suck so much production got in the way of making this season fun but the first half of the game was legit fantastic except for the stupid twists, punishments, and competitions the players made the first half a lot of fun

I think Cameron and Cirie’s interactions were the most interesting in the season because they knew that they were the best in the house at what they do. Winning comps (cam) and winning socially (Cirie)

I'm also still positive on the season, probably an 8/10, again first 6 weeks are fantastic and I've enjoyed a lot of the post jury weeks and the character moments but I agree everything from the final 7 onwards wasn't great and it overall represents the best and worst aspects of Big Brother
i think matt and cirie is by far the best players by the season. i feel like he should’ve brought up the fact that all moves that were made was his decision making but he fumbled his jury questions
Honestly from watching his jury speech, his game really didn’t seem that intentional, not to mention he got lucky at many points and had no idea of ciries many alliances. He played jags game in the endgame

I really ended hating this season, the second part of it was AWFUL and felt like a chore to watch, nothing is gonna be better than BBCAN10 :(

I haven't made it through the whole video yet, but yes, Zombie week absolutely destroyed Cory and America's momentum! They had so many people on their side when Jared was the target, and a week of nothing happening + the houses' last two targets being there just left way too much time for people to get suspicious of them. I think the invisible HOH twist that ultimately led to back-to-back HOHs for Jag also was a game-killer for America after that point. Without that twist, I think there's a strong chance Cirie/America win that next HOH and Matt/Jag/Bowie go home, changing the rest of the game. The twists absolutely killed the momentum of the season, and I wish they made a rule where if the WHOLE HOUSE knew Jag was HOH by the end of the week, he couldn't play in that next HOH. Such an unfair steamroll. Genuinely unfair. Also, Zombie week was one of the worst twists in the show's history ever just in general...
I also think Path to Power was only added in because of Luke's expulsion, but I really think it should've been added not in the week of the longest competition of the season, definitely unfair to Cam (who I don't even like). Idk, I just have so much to rant about, because the season had so much potential, and it genuinely was ruined by production. Steamroll seasons are always able to happen organically (BB22), but this was absolutely production's doing!
This season was pretty good overall. I feel that productions incompetence was the main thing that was killing the season. There were multiple examples of their actions that seemed lazy and like they were trying to kill the season.

Great pre-jury and a bit of a boring end but the finale was good as you still didn't really know who would win
Also random comedy moment, Cameron somehow gaslit "state debate champ" Cory (and by extension America who were the only relevant swings here) to change his mind from Matt to Jag. Just wild considering all the skeevy things he was doing involving him and America.
to be fair, cameron also thought he was the mastermind behind the izzy eviction. We really need to hear from the jurors before only taking his word.

As someone with a hearing disability, it’s really painful to see Matt lose because of false perception. I’ve always struggled with being inaccurately perceived because of behaviors I have due to my disability, like slow processing and mumbled speech. Production should not have made the jury questioning live. It’s already difficult enough to come up with decent answers live with limited time, but it’s a million times harder when you have a disability. Hearing impairment affects your processing ability. That fact that Matt did so well in a game like this with all of the limitations that come with his disability, makes his game one of the most impressive in the show. I know be made some bad comments, but I still think he’s a good and kind person. Most of the cast made bad comments in the house, but I don’t think that makes them bad people (Cameron and Jared notwithstanding).

1. Matt didnt make 'some' comments he wasdeeply misogynistic to the women in the cast and made horrible comments about them. He also said that the cirie and felicia two black women were only good for cooking and cleaning. He was also weirdly obsessed with Cory and America esp America. So kindly dont minimise the impact of his comments
2. If Matt owned his game throughout jury phase and on finale he would have won. However he actively let himself be perceived as being Jags follower
3. I understand that Matt was disadvantaged with hearing matters such as jury questioning and such but he lost the game the moment he had a horrible closing speech and refused to take the heat on any moves and make Jag be seen as the Leader.
@@jasonmuiruriMost of the houseguests made horrible comments about other houseguests. Cirie and Felicia are beloved despite making slut-shaming and rude comments about other women in the house. America wasn’t great at respecting Corey’s boundaries, and think I remember her criticizing Matt for crying because “he’s a grown man”. I still like all of these women, but everyone should be given the same treatment. I also highly doubt he actually thinks those two women. The whole trio was trash-talking and likely saying things they don’t actually believe. His comments are, at worst, indicative of misogynistic bias which most people have. I don’t think it’s right to be so harsh on people who are being watched 24/7 in an incredibly stressful/confined situation for a few comments. I prefer to judge people by how they generally treat others. Matt is a human with flaws just like everyone else, who says bad things like everyone else.

3:35:40 this was the funniest moment of the season tbh
Matt lost the game during his Final 5 HOH week. He had played the best game only up until that point. I get the frustrations with Jag’s win, but he outplayed Matt in the jury phase and crushed him in the jury answers, where he was adamant, yes, and Matt was abysmal. Jag’s answers were not complete BS. He did in fact serve as the leader of the Minutemen and was responsible for everyone going to jury. I disagree completely that Matt was the decision-maker of the Minutemen. If he was, Cory would have been backdoored pre-jury, and Cirie would never have gone home. I don’t think Jag is one of the best BB winners of all time, but he played his ass off during his second chance and deserves some credit for that. There is absolutely no way he should be ranked below Evil Dick, Rachel, etc. in winner rankings. The comps need a serious overhaul, as we all know, but he can’t be faulted for winning what BB put before him to compete in.
On a personal level, although I was disappointed by Jag’s behavior in these final weeks, I do think he will acknowledge, (and already has, in some interviews I’ve seen), that he went too far at times. I think he is ultimately a good guy, and it’s great to see a Sikh contestant win. (No mention of that in your video, or did I miss it?) Matt, on the other hand, has already used the “You don’t see everything” line and will not own up to any of his misogyny. He’ll probably go right back to watching Andrew Tate. So on a personal level, I am SUPER GLAD he lost, and I even found myself preferring Cam to him at the end. Which says something, because I did not like Cam.

I agree about disappointment of Matt and Cam being in the top 3 of AFP and Cam ultimately winning.

Evel Dick and Rachel Reilly probably popped champagne knowing that there is now a winner worse then both of them
@@philbox3productions I think Rachel is like two to four spots higher than Dick, I think it’s him and Jordan
@iamkonner4813 I put Rachel and Dick as the bottom two simply due to the fact that they were both directly helped by production while Jordan (who I also think is not a good winner) was more so indirectly helped by production with Jeff winning the coup detat. Ultimately none of that matters cause while they were directly or indirectly helped by production none of them were ever legitimately voted out of the game like Jag so it makes them better in my eyes.

Ranking of the Worsts HOH in Big Brother history?
I was hoping that this season would be better than last season (though that not hard to do), and this season was so much better imo, as it was nice to see these people genuinely have fun unlike the people last season
24 had bad vibes, but i'd say it's still better than 25. Ig 24 is either hit or miss for some people
Last season had some fun moments but was pretty negative though the winner was very satisfying in my opinion
The only thing that irritates me is that there was a racial expulsion here but the girl from bb15 didnt get expelled
They had different standards back then. Also, in Bb15 they would have had to expel half of the cast for that reason.

I’m very mixed about this season. On an entertainment level I feel this is one of the more entertaining recent seasons and the cast is obviously really good (except the obvious few). But it just DRAGGED ON at times. Seriously I hope they never do another 100 day season no bb season should ever be that long. Also Cameron winning AFH really shows how much control production has. You can be the literal biggest asshole in the world and they will find a way to give you the good guy edit

Double evictions are always the best game shifting events on each season which is why this season’s DE were such disappointments, the first half of the season was the best until… the zombie week. Such a disappointment and self sabotage by production which only’s outcome was harm the rest of the season. So much potential but executed poorly. Now I never want them to make an 80+ days season ever again.

I agree with everything youve said about Jag. He had basically no agency until he won comps, most people were angry at him when they were voted out, he took Matt over freakin Bowie Jane to the final 2 and he basically was clueless for half of the game and was even voted out then almost voted out AGAIN. To me he’s at least bottom 3

Yeah great beginning, horrible endgame interesting and fun contestants (felecia, Hisam and America among them for me) and strategists ( Cirie and Cory) bad gameplay in the endgame with easily one of the worst final 3s of all time. Jag is arguably the worst winner ( only one worse might be Evil Dick) of all time.
Worse season ever! Boring ASF. I even forgot it was on as I was caught up enjoy BB Canada. I love how the "scary" week was over but to the very end we still got scary comps. It was just so all over the place. Cirie was a NO SHOW. Things fell flat all over.
This season is not good but not worse is 17th place to me (And Plus Big Brother Canada was completely disappoint this year, especially compare to BBCAN9 and BBCAN10)

The only solution to not enough women winning comps is to A: be a woman, B: be cast on big brother, and C: win competitions.
They had plenty of mental comps, not just physical. Not Jag’s fault that the others couldn’t win. Skill issue tbh
The women that tend to get cast on Big Brother are less physically apt than the men that tend to get cast. You seldom see muscular women on the show, but most of the men tend to be muscular. The mental comps had the widest variety of winners.
I do disagree. I don’t think Jag is the worst winner or player of all time. Matt lost for a REASON. He did it to himself. He and Bowie chose not to take the very blatant shot at Jag at Final 6, the LAST window of opportunity they could do so. Matt may have been the better player, but he let Jag take the blood for it, and in essence, the credit. The fact that Matt didn’t put up Jag at the Final 5 and keep Cirie safe there was his own fault. It came across as Jag strong-arming Matt, and Matt looking pretty weak-willed. While Jag was the executioner for the plans…Matt didn’t take credit. Ever. And the way he just fumbled and bumbled that Final 2 Q&A from the jury…And then Jag ACTUALLY owning up to it (even if his final speech was a bit on the yikes side, it was entertaining, and the jury just took it that way). Matt LET Jag take the credit for ALL of it. Jag is by no means a great player…but I do think he can survive for a while. He IS likable. I would put Jag in the tier where ALL the winners who won after getting saved by a twist (Dick, Rachel, Jordan, Ian and Josh) at. Which is at the bottom, but I do think he’s better than Dick and Josh. For sure.
Josh is genuinely in the majority the whole season, and always in the know on what's going on (I would rank him above Rachel and Ian for sure, and probably above a Lisa or a Kaycee as well. His winning next to Paul was a lot more intentional than their particular bitter juries) and while I do think the fight between Dick and Jag is close, A) Dick was at least actually in the real majority alliance before his game blew up one week later than Jag's, and B) was only really in danger because he himself put him in that spot on purpose to save Danielle. They're both VERY bad, and I find them near interchangeable honestly, but even if Dick is worse, its not by a lot. He at least made the right move most of the time, his social game was just bad

Worst is definitely Adam by a long shot. He used his BB winnings to fund a drug ring. He got sober and is healthier now thankfully.
@@francesca-selfproclaimed-bleepYeah, but that is more on a personal level…and even then, I would consider Jackson Mitchie even worse. I haven’t watched some seasons like S9, so I can’t say what I think of Adam as a player. 🤷♂️

Season was a sleazy mess. Felt so bad for Sheila the whole time.

Jag was a great winner. Totally disagree as he owned Matt on those questions and speech. The finale was exciting bevsuse u difnt know who would win and Cameron winning over Cirie as the casuals loved him. BB25 was so much more entertaining then that borefest BB23

@@sean6088 Strongly disagree. 2 solid players made it to the final. I can understand maybe some people are upset because they were cheering for someone else. But what Jag and Matt did was not easy and they took over the 2nd half of the game when they easily cold of been targeted if not for the winning streak and aligning intelligently. You have to respect it. While last year the winner really played a victim card hard and made Jury feel they should be cancelled if they didn't vote for her. It was a terrible season all around in my personal opinion.
@@realityrob1951 it was literally the easiest thing possible. They got handed an alliance when Cameron got back in. They did get Bowie on their side yes but that’s kinda all they did all season. They lucked out with two hohs in a row twist and nobody on the outside winning a comp and Matt especially was an idiot and just played Jags game
