In case you forgot how ridiculous the John Ross hype was, the first bullet point he had from Mike Mayock when he got drafted just said “4.22, ‘NUFF SAID”
Fr that dude was insane speedy but tbh he didn’t get delt the best hand with the Bengals and injuries
Speed has to the most overrated wr trait. For most really fast wrs it actually prevented them from developing since they could just out run everyone.
@@JJ-zr6fu To be fair, when you get the actual great receiver that runs in the 4.2’s it’s the biggest cheat code in the sport, at least on the offensive side of the ball.
@@JJ-zr6fuexactly. They just relied on being about to run past people.
@@theawesomewillyt yeah those are few n far between bro
I want to shout out Noah Brown. I did not expect him to still be in the league and he's been having a great season in Houston.
True that! As a cowboys fan i was a big fan since we got him in round 6 and he always balled out in the preseason
Fr
@@nytro8027ye
Noah Brown was solid with the Cowboys he was a great number five played special teams, and last year really broke out but honestly he didn’t really fit with Dak Prescott he was really good with Cooper Rush which kind of makes sense that he would be better with a back up quarterback but man he’s been pretty good in Houston. Good for him.
@@dsbeats5657agreed look how he performs with a rookie qb in cj stroud its just the elite qbs he struggled with him & dak had their moments just wasnt what he needed
The most shocking thing was that the Raiders didn’t trade up to get John Ross after running that 40 😂
I've always thought of Mike Williams as "that young dude on the chargers to take in madden" crazy that he's already been in the leauge for 6 years
Graduated high school in 2017… can’t believe this was 6 years ago. time flies
I graduated high school in 2016, now I feel old
Class of 2017 🤝
ohhh hold on buckaroo the ride only gets faster
In a few years, you'll be calling the kids who play in College...kids.

I think Cooper Kupps 2021 season might have been the greatest performance by a single player in NFL history, he either broke or finished top 5 in every single record that year, he had 100 yards in all but 2 games all season, and caught the game winning pass in 3 of 4 of the playoff games. He was UNSTOPPABLE
You haven't watched much football.
@@jdot714he literally had the greatest season of all time as a wr
@@chrisafk6369Jerry Rice would like a word with you.
Love Cooper Kupp but that’s a bit of a overstatement 😂
@Killshot15 maybe a little
Imagien telling someone before the draft that John Ross and Corey Davis would be retired before 2023
Corey Davis underwhelmed so much that I didn't even realize he retired
as a titans fan, we miss having receivers that catch the ball
I'm a fellow titans fan, and the receiving game has been rough ever since aj brown left. Let's hope the titans get their shit together though.
Corey had injury issues.
I blame Jon Robison. He tried to bring the patriot way to Tennessee and that shit didn’t work and now look at us. I dislike that dude so damn much
That AJ Brown trade was so bad…..
I miss the days of Kendall Walker
As a Giants fan I always remember John Ross fondly because he made that insane TD grab against the Saints that propelled us to an OT win
As a Bengals fan, this list hurt. Not only for John Ross, but the last clip showing Kupp in the Super Bowl. Man is stellar
don’t stop making these videos i can’t tell you how long i been watching the channel and appreciate you
madden legend john ross. i always picked him up off free agency and had him as the slot wr. always led the league in td's without having to force feed him the ball
Mike Williams game winning 2 point conversion is in what I like to think of as the "Williams Bowl" because it seemed almost every play involved someone named Williams between him and the Chiefs running back (Damien I believe it was)
Cooper Kupp is from my hometown. He was already a hometown hero when he made it to the nfl, but after 2021 he became a legend.
That final drive in the Super Bowl is one of the greatest moments in Super Bowl history, Kupp was so unstoppable that the minute they stopped pass interfering him he scores!
Greatest wr season off all time imo. Should have been the first WR MVP
They gave Eli apple shit for that but it was kupp who was playing amazing.
@@velimirjuradin8764First since Lance Alworth if the AFL MVP’s are accounted for
Would love to see a video on the 2016 WR class. That one was definitely strange. There were 4 receivers taken in the first round, but Will Fuller was the only decent one. Round 2 had three solid picks (Sterling Shepherd, Michael Thomas and Tyler Boyd), but the best receiver of the class wasn't selected until round 5: some guy named Tyreek Hill
Character issues will do that.
I feel will like Mike Williams will still be cold wherever he ends up next year, dude was still producing the first 3 games this year
Tough thing is he's 30 coming off an acl. If he stays with LA and Herbert I think he has his best shot at a great season. Other than signing with KC and Mahomes who is desperate for a big play guy I think it's going to be a tough road next year. I hope for the best always been a guy I've rooted for since Clemson and im shocked that didnt bring up that wild neck injury in college i thought that kinda set the tone for how riddled with injuries his career has been. I loved USC Mike Willams (ate himself out of the league) thought it would be some poetic justice for him to succeed. Just silly name game shit.
2017 had one of the best RB classes I’ve personally seen
Aye man, I been watching KTO and this channel for 5 years now. And this guy STILL just knows the best way to end off a video.
Zay jones lowkey making a revive for his career in Jacksonville. Great third guy and developing well
Ehhhh
@@maskedman5657 I mean you can disagree but it isn’t wrong. He is developing late and has become a great third reciever for the jags offense.
Factz he’s actually justifying the pick.
I was the biggest John ross fan when cincy drafted him, he was my first ever jersey that I bought. Really wish he panned out as a bengal.
Beginning with the Clarrett draft. I swear there was a Mike Williams WR every year
Noah Brown has been nice
don't sleep on josh reynolds, that dude is the definition of clutch
I've never seen him drop the ball.
Him and Goff have a connection 🔥🔥🔥
Yikes, this didn’t age too well…
John Ross got injured during the combine. That pretty much sums up his whole career.
That guy juju smith Schuster had a bizarre start to his career with his little bicycle… shows how great Big Ben was…
I love the announcer voice crack on Cooper Kupp, although I was rooting for the Bengals so I don’t remember that catch fondly
Hey brother, I started watching you my freshman year of college, I’m now about to graduate! I appreciate your channel so much, by far best content I’ve seen
Steve Smith Sr. nailed Cooper Kupp evaluation. He said Kupp is going to be real good and he was right.
Look at that 7th round!!! 3/5 being contributors is wild
The crazy thing about Cooper Kupp's career was that at first, he was not even recruited or ranked (this is where the infamous "0 star" remark came from) cause scouts considered him too undersized to play WR. Compared to most of the other WRs in his class, I have to imagine Kupp had the biggest chip on his shoulder, which is good, cause when the Rams gave him a chance to be on their roster, he not only took it, but went from the #4 option in the depth chart to a staple in the Rams' receiving corps. While I applaud his incredible perseverance, my concern for Kupp is whether will he be too banged up to play anymore, cause since that Super Bowl win, Kupp's biggest battle has been against injuries more than defensive backs.
Undersized? Then he must have had one hell of a late growth spurt. He's 6'2" 208Lbs
I love these throwback videos, I would love to see you do the 90s season by season
Man I remember how hyped I was for Corey Davis. The way his carrer went so far is such a shame.
Holy shit man you've been putting out some bangers recently keep it up!
I started watching your videos in the 5th grade and now I’m in 10th grade. The content quality has never disappointed keep up the good work man
Yo I just realized I was not subscribed, love the channel man keep up the amazing work
Imagine John Ross, Joe Burrow, and Jamarr Chase, that team would be unstoppable, I feel bad for Ross
John Ross played with Joe Burrow. He wasn't very good.
It's a bummer Williams got hurt this year. He's fun to watch because that potential for an amazing big play is always present with him.
Love your videos man and could you do more what ifs like you did in the past and like updates to teams who turned the season around or just some older vids that you did but for the last few seasons please
These vids are so engaging bro I love them
Miss you at hockey man. Keep up the good work. Love the videos.
John Ross and tavon austin have to be the most underrated madden players of allllll time
watching this video as a bengals fan was rough from start to finish 😭
Injuries have ruined John Ross, i feel so bad for him 😔
He could have just switched to CB
Keep it comin KTO, I can't get enough!
The thing about Ross is that when he did play he was a beast most the time. Pretty sure he had a good start of the season that last year with the bengals where he actually played.
Hands down was my favorite rb class and they still haven’t disappointed
Hey man, long time subscriber, love your vids. You should do a video on the 1984 orange bowl, Maryland vs Miami. Maryland was down 31-0 at halftime and their backup QB (Frank Reich) came in to throw 6 TDs and win the game. Awesome story and craziest college football game I’ve seen. (Of course just a suggestion. Please keep up the great videos!!)
I have an idea I think would be interesting. You should do the 99 club from every madden from the past 10 years, and see what’s happened since then. Because I just went back to madden 16, and don’t even know who some of those guys are. I just thought it would be a cool idea.
I’m new to this channel but I’ve been watching ur videos non stop, feels weird seeing a notification aka new video 😅
I drank every bit of the Corey Davis Kool aid, I honestly thought he was the 2nd coming of T.O.
As a bengals fan I knew the John Ross pick was gonna be the start of our decline and it was. The thing I remember is that John Ross was known for injuries and we already knew he was fast.
Steve smith did say at the combine that cooper cup was his wr1
I get the little kupp shoutout at the end, but was expecting this video to be more about kupp in general. Man was a 3rd rounder and arguably had the best wide receiver season ever. Was expecting a little stat breakdown or sm about how much of a gap there is between him and next best. Awesome vid kupp disrespect continues
how many times are general managers going to ignore the lesson that picking wr because of 40 yd dash times is ALWAYS a bad idea. I know Al Davis never learned it himself, but everyone else who got to witness it should have learned by now.
Mannnn the RB class 2017 year was wild
The play before the Seahawks TD(10:48) Ross dropped a wide open pass where there were no defenders near him and he could have gotten an easy first down
love your vids broo
I think this shows just how rare of a prospect Marvin Harrison Jr is. He’s better at almost everything compared to Davis and Williams as a prospect. He’s going to be so elite
Marvin Harrison disappeared in games. I think nabers at LSU might be better that guy was unstoppable this year. He and the lsu WRs are why daniels will be drafted so high and end up busting.
@@JJ-zr6fuwhat do you see in Daniels that makes him a potential bust
I mean shit, he was raised by one of the best ever. His dads been training him for this his whole life. I expect him to fill his dads shoes at least somewhat.
I love these 'flashback' episodes or whatever you want to call them. We forget about players SO QUICKLY, even great ones.
It’s a good day when KTO uploads
I’m from Kalamazoo where western Michigan is..Corey Davis was sooo crazy to watch. He was Calvin Johnson for Western. I think injuries got him
This draft really had both the FBS (Corey Davis) and FCS/D1 (Cooper Kupp) yards record holders
I remember almost always playing with clemson (and oregon, Oregon alumnus here) in the last official (Till 2025/2026 allegedly) NCAA football game because of how ungodly he was in punt returns and KO's was almost always a guaranteed TD if you got the timing right. Wish him the best I still think he's got a decent to a lot left in the tank to be a very good to good WR considering it all.
I really miss him John Ross was so gifted real fast at the combine he ran a 4.22 in the 40 yard dash which is still holds as a combine record he went into the 1st Round 9th overall pick WR out of the University of Washington
You writing his wiki page? 😂
Cant believe it’s been 6 years
(Madden franchise) John Ross became a 99 ovr X factor receiver on a multiple Super Bowl team racking up multiple 1000 yard seasons. His speed was awesome over the top
I really feel for Mikey Williams 😢 wish him the best and hope he bounces back playing better than he ever has ❤
As a Chargers fan I love Mike Williams, he’s a great #2 and an amazing complement WR to Allen.
This is a great class
Cooper kupp didn’t surprise me. Steve smith told y’all at the combine
KTO be putting crack in his videos
I need more and more everytime
The John Ross hype was absolutely wild still wish that man the best sucks to see how things turned out for him
No disrespect to Corey Davis to the Titans but Marcus Mariota would love John Ross because he would throw him the ball deep all week long putting more and more points on the board like for real 2:43
W video ideas as always
As a Steelers fan Mike Williams would be all well and good with me cause the Steelers have not had a big time WR like Williams since the Steelers drafted Plaxico Burress who went to Michigan State and he was a 1st Round 8th overall pick too 6:00
Not to worried about Mike Williams with time he’ll be ok obj is doing fine after 2 acls
I mean in Corey Davis defense... the Titans QBs werent elite caliber. His stats at Tennessee were actually damn decent lol.
I'll never forget watching the draft wanting the Bengals to take Jonathan Allen (DT now for the Commanders), he fell to our pick, commish gets up there and right when he started saying John i got hype thinking he was saying Johnathan Allen then it turns out to be John Ross. I was pissed lmao
We’re visiting the 2017 class already? Am I that old?
We are bro
When will you do a video on the 2020 Draft QB's
How was 2017 6 years ago?
Because 23-6 is 17????
2020 effect
KTO posted a video? Good Friday
WILD
Golladay is so funny, dude was a pro bowler in 2019, led the league in tds that year, and then just fell flat on his face after that
Chris Godwin though 🔥🔥🔥
I remember when my guys drafted Ross. I was like bros legs are hanging by threads
I hope Godwin can bounce back from how he's been playing and keep holding up this draft class!
No need for apostrophes when doing TDs and WRs. Apostrophe indicates possession. I hope this helps!
Undersold Cooper Kupp. Not only led the League in receiving yards and touchdowns, also in receptions. Thus, winning the rare and coveted "Triple Crown".
Godwin and Kupp in the 3rd🤯
I'm sorry for Mike Williams that he's been banged up the last couple of years, but I'm also excited that he might get to play for a football team that's not the Chargers. Hopefully Team 2 doesn't waste his talent as much.
Also, I've been sleeping on Chris Godwin. I knew he was good but those numbers are fantastic, especially since he's #2 to Mike Evans.
You play John Ross 40 next to Chris Johnson and CJ crossed the line first lol.
Could you at least entertain the idea of making a video about each season’s worst defense or offense since 2010, and how much it changed the following season?
Let’s gooooooooo
love these videos dawg
AJ Brown turned out to be what I thought Corey Davis would be
that 70 somethin overall john ross card put in work in MUT tho
Corey Davis is a beast but I agree he was drafted a bit too high
Man within 5 minutes got 4 ads from RUclips and KTOs ad as well. YT going crazy with them ads jesus
