Cordell Patterson was like the only return person that was able to figure out a way to utilize his talents an transition into a dual threat hybrid WR RB TE combo!
I think he not only could have been good, but possibly even a great if he was drafted to any other team than the rams, they completely screwed his development.
Was talking about receivers drafted in 2013 and as a Chiefs fan I was praying for something to be said about Kelce, only for the video to end on him lol. I love this so much.
I worked for a paper down in Kansas and the local community college played against Patterson and his Hutchinson CC team. He was easily the most explosive/fast player I have ever seen play. It was crazy.
what beautiful words by joe buck at the end "still going..still going!..still going!!" truly a master play by play announcer that definitely isn't drunk most times
I remember this draft like it was yesterday, the drafts from 11-13 I remember a lot since I was in the last years of my high school career. I remember all the hype about Tavon. I was upset that Geno was drafted by the jets I felt if he went anywhere else he would be doing what he's doing now a long time ago.
ertz the second best pass catcher out off the TE. dude has a solid career imo. definitely has HoF numbers if you ask me. probably not first ballet, but he's gonna be in there one day.
Hey, remember that one video you did with the tall Vs small receivers? Well, you’re the only reason I know about Harold Carmichael and I actually wore a Carmichael jersey to the eagles Vs titans game! It was great, and thanks for being the reason for my awesome jersey!
Every time I see I cordarelle 109 kor td I always remember my packers won the game so it wasn’t too bad. I can still remember that game it was a good game
Can't forget that Adam Thielen came into the league this year, AND as an undrafted free agent too! He'd be good for 4th best WR from a Yards perspective, if I'm not mistaken? Not counting the TE's.
My sooners single handedly elevated Tavon's profile. Dude was running wild. Among other issues, I think his style of play was before its time based on the scheme NFL teams employed at the time. They just didn't know how to use him
People don't realize the % are stacked against most Draft picks most aren't gonna be a home run if u can get them to just be productive and able to play on a high level and fill in a role u need then that's good if u can get a home run an have them turn into a star player then u beat the % odds
Packers finally got a first round WR. Tavon Austin in 2022 off waivers for like two weeks. They promised to get Rodgers first round help, and they did. Wonderful job, I love my Packers and their honestly and commitment to winning, supporting the winners the have around them like Rodgers :)
Well Keenan Allen has missed at least two-and-a-half seasons' worth of games and plays like a TE, in that most of his routes are short-to-intermediate because of his lack of top-end speed so I don't think that's too surprising to be honest.
Hello KTO, I know this is a big thing to ask, but could you start a series about the best dynasties in the NFL? I’m European, so I don’t really know the history of the teams, and that would really help me understand.
We had a guy on our ship that always bragged about Tavon Austin, because he graduated a year before him in HS. Hyped him up hard telling us he was going to be the next torry holt.
If Tavon Austin would've been around during the Devin Henderson era he would have thrived but cus he was in the new era where it was pass heavy most people were just taking a touch back and just airing it out versus risk running have u fumble or don't get enough yardage and then puting them at a disadvantage!
The fact that Tavon Austin was picked so far ahead of DeAndre Hopkins is insane in retrospect. Austin was a gadget/kick returner/3rd string WR. Hopkins is easily HOF and possibly a top ten all-time WR.
I can't believe that the record return TD is only 9. It must be really hard to return kicks for TD but I could have sworn that the bears guy had a lot more
Patterson is the goat for doing what he did. juco to 1 year of college, to 1st rnd pick, to running back to all time KR leader... man you talk about adjustment
Worst first round draft class ever, especially the whole class for quarterbacks. Also, how are you doing a video of the 2013 WR class, but not include DeAndre Hopkins' Hail Murray?!
Lane Johnson is probably the only real good player from the top ten picks of the draft. He still is playing for the same team, won a SB, 3 pro bowls and hasn’t let a tackle in 126 games now.
Cordell Patterson was like the only return person that was able to figure out a way to utilize his talents an transition into a dual threat hybrid WR RB TE combo!
The 2013 draft class for Tight Ends was pretty good with Kelce, Ertz, Reed, Eifert, McDonald
Man I forgot how good Vance McDonald was.

Texans were blessed to get DHop for real. Went from their #1 WR being the best at throwing hands to their #1 being the best at catching with em 🤘🏾
Plus they had Andre Johnson lined up with him for a couple years and Foster in the back field. Crazy that's when Schaub fell off a cliff though
Lmao
Why do I love these random draft years and random numbers of years later videos?!?!
Man it's really sad how Tavon Austin fell off
I loved him as a cowboy, he brought some things to the table that I liked, when I realized we let him go I was shocked :c

@@varohsy yea man I’m a wvu fan too and unfortunately a lot of players become bust really happy to see Geno Smith taking his name off that list tho

The Steadman Bailey story has always hurt, as my household liked him even more than Tavon
Steadman really didn’t get enough credit during his time at Wvu when tavon wasn’t open he was
Stedman Bailey had that crazy punt return TD vs the seahawks in 2014 when Tavon faked out the entire punt coverage
Was talking about receivers drafted in 2013 and as a Chiefs fan I was praying for something to be said about Kelce, only for the video to end on him lol. I love this so much.
Marquise Goodwin has actually become a really good WR3 for the Seahawks this year behind Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf
I worked for a paper down in Kansas and the local community college played against Patterson and his Hutchinson CC team. He was easily the most explosive/fast player I have ever seen play. It was crazy.
KTO got ice in his veins, always coming in clutch, and making my dinner better! 😀
Tavon Austin would've been deadly in a Deebo Samuel type role. A shame that he never panned out
I was always a huge fan of him. Sad😢

@@elijahgrant4517 he wouldn't have been very good he needed all that time to develop
Kelce had a knee injury in 2013 his rookie year and never played. Career didn't really start until 2014.

As a 12 year old kid from St. Louis at the time I remember thinking he was gonna be what Tyreke Hill is now
You should make a vid talking about the 2010 chargers. #1 offense and defense but missed playoffs almost entirely due to an egregious special teams
what else is new with my team
Markus Wheaton had an insane 200 yard game vs the legion of boom tho
Keep it up KTO I’ve been watching your videos since you had under 5000 subs man and it’s so good to see you shine
Adam Thielen and Jack Doyle went undrafted that year as well, both have multiple pro bowls
Doyle fell off the map when Andrew Luck retired.
Tavon Austin CREATED the cfb highlight reel

Stedman Bailey story still breaks my heart 💔💔
Markus Wheaton did in fact emerge for one glorious game against Seattle in which he went off for over 200 yards receiving. What a game that was.
