At the beginning of the video I put the model number of my motor on the screen, but throughout the video I refer to it as: 9.8 A3. More specifically, it’s a 2012 3V2(MFS9.8A3).
I’m obviously no expert, but I don’t think that would work for a variety of reasons. That hole is too small to get in the volume of water needed and the motor is designed for the water to come out of the pee hole - forcing it to come out somewhere it’s not designed to, probably isn’t a good idea. I stick to the owners manual and tech support. But like I said in your other comment, someone will educate me on how to do it without running the motor. Probably water inlet muffs. I believe the owner’s manual tells you to have the motor tilted down. If I had used muffs to cover the water inlets or gotten the water pressure higher it probably would have worked. It’s so easy just to run the motor that I didn’t work that hard to get it to work. Someone that does it all the time without running the engine will eventually enlighten me. Thanks for your question!

What about holding the hose up to the inspection hole and get water going into it backwards with the motor off? Is that a good idea?

Maybe if you had tilted your motor upward it would come out the inspection hole using the adapter with the motor off.
