Tohatsu 9 8hp outboard water pump replacement

In this video cover how to change the water pump on an older Tohatsu 9.8 Four stroke. I also cover a few things else I found and repaired.
Carburetor was changed as well.

Hey Ted a quick unrelated question regarding Volvopenta EVC joystick gas 380 engine. Can the SCU Chassis ID be changed on a used steering control unit (module) (same part number different chassis ID) and reprogram it to match the sister SCU on the other motor? I know a vodia machine is needed or does that need to be done by volvopenta?

Yes it can be done, and yes with a Vodia Tool, and yes only by an authorized volvo penta dealer
