Just received autoimmune gastritis diagnosis with pernicious anemia based on parietal and intrinsic factor antibodies. I have flares where symptoms of gastritis and low b12 increase greatly. Also have hashimotos antibodies with normal thyroid hormone. And have autoimmune pancreatitis type 1. Discovered diabetes type 1 antibodies. endoscopy and biopsy failed to pick up pernicious anemia but saw gastritis. They didn’t test for antibodies. Thankfully a functional dr ordered these tests. Now on twice weekly b12 shots. You just confirmed my personal analysis of the situation based on the continuum you describe. Thx.

This makes so much sense. It always goes back to the gut. Fascinating

It would be good to know how to treat these conditions. I have hashimotos and chronic gastritis. Does that mean it's autoimmune gastritis? How to treat it ?

See Dr. Gates. His treatment is more common sense and not so much pharmaceutical focused. It's life-changing !
