Imagine being undiagnosed standing behind him casually selecting your cereal and overhearing that. You’d be like waaaaaat!??
Wow … is glandular fever the same as EBV? I had it when younger and now have a couple of auto immune conditions.
You are exactly right.
How do you treat this? My husband’s hearing is practically gone.

When my Dad got dementia, the insurance said it wasn't considered a " medical " condition so it wasn't covered for him to stay at a facility. How insane is that? That was VA and Medicare. His scan looked awful, I saw it. Huge holes😢
Gosh, that’s horrible. I’m so sorry you went through that.
Happy New Year! I have been suffering from weather sensitivity for years. from cold to warm and vice versa, the weather is killing me. I want to ask you: does neurology treat these weaknesses?! Thank you very much! Sincerely, Erwin. 🙏
@@erwinvarga thank you so much for your comment! If possible, message me at my office at info@gatesbrainhealth.com or call us at 775. 507. 2000, I can answer questions more appropriately through those channels.
Can you please share the name of the doctor your mentioned.

I was diagnosed 10 years ago & since also have osteoporosis & rheumatoid arthritis, thrombocytepenia, now my BP is high, & it set me in the hospital for 2 weeks with heart & lung issues. I now also have A-Fib & COPD. It’s an ongoing pain the _ss.

Hi doctor, my friend has 24/7 dizziness, ear fullness and intermittent ringing , but had childhood history of migraine and has lot of visual symptoms like light sensitivity , sensitivity to complex visual patterns, grocery shops visual issues. What would be more likely diagnosis VM or MD
How do you address them when they are hormone related from low estrogen?
@@kimberlykopetseg5154 thank you for the topic suggestion, I will try to talk about that in a video this week.
Would you be able to tell me why I am having neurological symptoms such as; numbness, cold sensation, water drop sensations, spasms, pain, weird background noise in my vision-I wouldn’t call it visual snow, but I’m not sure what to call it. All my blood work looksgood so I have not gotten a diagnosis. My ANA was 1:80 and the only thing that was off my MRI was in my brain on my T2 I had something that was supposedly linked to hypertension. There was like two white marks. I’m seeing a functional neurologist, but he does not sound like he has any type of ability that you do. I am in Tampa Florida, where are you located? Also, sorry I just wanted to add that any of my symptoms besides for my eyes are super intermittent for an example the only symptoms I had yesterday was maybe one little shooting pain and the other time was what feels like a water drop on my leg.
I just wanted to add that he thinks my autonomic nervous system is basically overstimulated so he has me doing different exercises daily at the house and then going into his office twice a week for an hour for $200 each time.

@@gatesbrainhealth2639thanks and really I should’ve known that, lol I was just hoping you could state a simple reason, but I think anything neurological isn’t “simple”. :) I’ll check in on Monday- are you able to do telehealth to Fl patients?

That’s an understatement of IC, you try living with it and say it’s just pain and discomfort. Those words can’t accurately describe how painful it is
Hey could you recommend a test kit for me to test for this gene?

Myasthenia Gravis and Sjogrens Syndrome.
I have had several viral infections it started in 2017 in January and after that the vertigo came but wasn’t as bad then I got Covid and the attacks started again 😩🙄😭 and then last year in January I got vestibular neuritis which came from Covid as well smh
My wife had a TIA early October. Looking forward to hearing more.
Yes please. How do we calculate this?
Thanks for the great info! Nice analogy, as I've had an aviation background working for AA. Your aircraft, the Antonov 225 was the world's largest a/c, but unfortunately was destroyed by Russia early in their war with Ukraine. (And Antonov has plans to rebuild this a/c as it's a money maker) But, I love your analogy, since like my accident concussion caused worse nystagmus on my left side than my right. I sometimes feel like I have an "engine out!" FYI - Regarding your analogy, when any two+ engine aircraft, from B-747 to B-737, when an engine is lost on one side of the a/c, it's known as "Asymmetrical Thrust" as there's a misbalance of thrust. Keep up the great work!
@@GrapevineTom I’m glad it was helpful, and I really appreciate your comment.

I’ve had this for 4 years I just excepted it I’m also a captain

Holy Sh!t - I think this doc just helped me solve my medical mystery! I have every symptom listed but two, including worsening small fiber neuropathy and severe pain. I’ve mentioned to countless doctors the fact that my mother was hospitalized for PA in 1950s, but every single one has blown it off. Unreal. I am now almost certain that my problems are caused by PA. THANK YOU for this video!!!
So scary, rrmother. There's a medical research paper you can look up too, it's called The Many Faces of Cobalamin Deficiency. Extensive list, very informative

Sometimes I feel electric vibration behind my left side of head. I used to lift heavyweight in the gym, listening music in high volume for long hours, and sleepless nights for some years. I went to my civil hospital and they given me vertin 8mg, vitamin b12. But it doesn't fixed my problem. I also had incident before this a insects (ants) gone into my years and damaged my ears. But doctor said everything all right inside ear but I felt inflammation in my ears even though doctor taken out the insects. I also suffering from chronic sinus infection from 2009.
I felt exactly the same, did the same things you did, I can't afford a doctor though😂
Are you talking taurine I know Taurine acts similarly to GABA and blocks excitability in neurons. If you have excess glutamate, taurine can calm your nervous system down to prevent further damage. Taurine has been studied and determined safe at doses from 1 to 6 grams per day.
And Gaba?
And 5htp glutamine, and theanine? I just did research and this is what I came up with is this correct?
