This generation Camaro never got the notoriety it should’ve. I always thought it had great styling.
I have the same camaro and I love it
Definitely a fun car to drive. I have a 35th Anniversary edition, and when i behind the wheel it makes me feel like a kid again! 😀
I almost bought that exact car and color in 1995
until I was told about the issues with the Optispark!
Really overblown, I've owned my 97 SS for 4 years and have put 20,000 miles on it. 74,000 total on original optispark. Have driven it through the rain , car washes etc. The pre 95 models had more issues with the non vented opti
These were the real deal in the 90s! I had a 1997 V6 Camaro with a five speed manual. It was fast even with the 200hp six. Mine was white with a tan and black interior. Very nice.
What a beauty. Lol that door shut noise was just as clunky as my 88 iroc. Was told a LONG time ago if your SBC AIN'T leaking oil you need to worry. That mild film don't worry me none
I lol'd at the door shut clunk as well, same as my 91.
Gorgeous 4th gen.
I swear all sbc’s leak even ls engines after awhile but all of them run damn good and run forever
the "clunk" is a GM trademark! all mine did it, new or old.
That’s because people just love to slam the doors on these Camaros after a while they make loud clunk noise. They’re heavy doors and when slammed cause a lot of vibrations and damage everything inside them. I think that’s part of the reason why the window motors go out often on these cars. My 95z doors click shut so quietly because I never slam them and always tell passengers to not slam my damn door.
I remember when these first came out the styling was amazing, then they became meh, now they are looking pretty good again. The styling ended up aging pretty well.
This was my first yr college car...same exact color n wheels...Lt1 has a great low end torque!
That's a righteous Camero! She has a sweet growl in that exhaust system. Great car for the price. Hard to believe it's a classic already...
Camaro not Camero ugh.
@@coop4274 Apples to Oranges, it's a typing error. Not that big of a deal...
I have have a 95 Z hard top the same color with 60k. Lots of mods! Way beyond stock. My drivers side power window was fading so I had it replaced. I just had my AC recharge and I upgraded my sway bars to the UMI brand. Looks like you have a Magnaflow catback exhaust. That's what I have on mine.
I use to have the same exact car, except it was a six speed manual and Teal Color where the color would be green at one time of the day and the other time it would be blue. Loved that car!
My summer driver is a 97 Z28 Mystic Teal, 4 speed auto, leather seats. I've had it for 20 years. I'm 74 and probably should sell it, but it's too damn fun to drive!
@@1968usaf I bet it is, with all that low end torque!
Those mystic teals were low production and are rare to find for sale. I was looking for one in that color but ended up with my bright red 95z.
@kevinrodriguez9701 Didn't know it was a low production but I know the car that I had was special ordered.
I had 2002 35th anniversary, Same style and exact color. Awesome car.
35th anniversary cars are a brighter red but I’m sure it’s fun as hell to drive
Abs in op light is probably because of the ss spoiler. On the lt1 f body if you changed the spoiler to a ss spoiler you have to put a resistor in it so it wouldn’t throw the brake in op light. The car thinks it’s a dead bulb back there. That’s what I had to do when I had my 93 z28.
My wife had a 94 back in highschool. We kept it up until our second child. Then we had to trade for family car.
Those seats are definitely not original but still looks like a fun ride. The dashboard is not too badly cracked given 94k miles on it. I recall a friend of mine bought it's twin the Pontiac Formula and that thing felt so much FASTER than the cars before it. Crazy to think there was a time when nearly 300 HP felt like a lot of power. 😁
I had a 94, same color, silly V6 manual. I also had a 69' SS clone. This guy I worked with had the first year of this gen: 93 Z w/6 speed. He also had a 69' RS 327. He could wheel n' deal and had more money than I, so his Camaros were always just a little better than I could afford.
I saw one in this colour last week, and I absolutely love it. Wish mine was that colour (mine is the purple pearl, and I used to have a black one).
This motor is a bolt on motor. Just an exhaust, intake, and maybe one or two little things. Sounds like stock internals. Awesome car. The dings and scratches on that car are notorious for fourth GEN Camaros and the cheap plastic interior makes owning one of these 25+ year old cars that much more nostalgic put a small cam in this bad boy and you’ll piss off your buddies 40+ thousand dollar coyote Mustang.
I hope this one sells fast so I don't sit and stew over it lol. I have a 30th anniversary that I can't bring myself to modify in any way. I want a second one to play with. Them chrome salad shooters are kinda rare I think. Oh, and lastly, you won't have to worry about the sail panel bubbling until the 98-02. Something to do with the glue they used. Like I said...I hope this sells fast
Got 2002 Camaro b4c police interceptor with ls1, love the performance of these cars for your dollar!
That's a car I didn't even know I liked until now!
You missed the good times to buy them. 4 years ago you could find these running for 2-3 grand all day. My first two were $1,000 non running and $800 for the second one needing some work.
i can't believe i missed this when it first appeared on here love the car. Camaro's look fast even when parked i don't think they had an ugly year .
Nice Camaro and the motor sounds great and the horn works and I love the color !!! Thanks for the ride Nick !!
Nice Camero (this is the proper way to pronounce it). Love the t-tops and pre catfish headlights.
Now that takes me back! I felt seventeen again.
That price the AS IS price are do you fix those few problems that show up on the dash?I like this car, interested in buying it
Yes cars are sold As Is
For that price, those issues should all be addressed
@@LeoM-zt3pl agreed even dealer price maybe 8k max that's with the crazy inflation lately
The paint stuff I can accept but all the check lights no way for that price. Weird to sell something lit up like a Christmas tree
I love 93-97 fbodys. My first two cool cars were Z28s.
My 97 Monte does the same lights in the dash they go on for awhile and go off....I've been driving it like that for 15 yrs at least.
I had a 89 IROC and despite the shitty build quality it was still a fun car. the LT-1 was a nice bump in power on this 95 but the build quality was the same. Currently drive a scat pack dodge and it's an animal.
Hard to believe that’s an antique!! 🤣🤣
That is a nice 95 I had one long time ago loved it.
T-tops, bad#%* sounding motor, great color. Bet that sells fast.
I have a 97 z28 cammed headers 6 speed manual bought it for 3000 dollars decent paint too with new corvette wheels
I still have the exact car. Bought it brand new. Love II!
Ik im tardy to the party for commenting, the check engine light coming on for 10 seconds and turning off means a intermittent problem has occurred but the problem went away but a dtc will still be stored. Just some helpful info :p
I had a green 1994 LT -1 with the six speed manual. Got it brand new and put 191k over 17 years. I regret letting it go…
you need to install the air deflector under your radiator inmediatly, if dont you will have an overheating problem soon.
I love your videos, you do a great job of showing the cars.
I appreciate that!
Very beautiful amazing looking car beautiful colours thanks Nick have a very nice day mate
good value
Wow if I was not on the road I wood during cash to you I had 2 of thim over the years and miss thim nice 👍 and I just live in Kingsport Tennessee
Whoaaaaaa.....you're halfway there... Whoaa-aaaaa Nick will test drive you there...
I have a 95 firebird Lt1 , wonder if my car has a shift kit as well
Gourgeus camaro, love the color, and she is fast, 😎 cool car from cool Nick Southgate, Nick great car 🤟 😊
i currently have a 95 Z28, 30k original miles on it.
Not an LS but still a nice car. Wont take long to move it.
Sounds great.
Nice! Sounds good.
When The Fast And The Furious first came out, I was saving all of my money to buy one of these then I bought an Accord lol.
😐
@@JackVegetables18 lol
@@morecowbell69 Exactly. I was being practical.
What a letdown😂
I have a 95 Z28 rides great like new only 71 thousand miles on it now I am the original owner I baby the car since new
Pretty sharp for a 95 like the color
Wife had same year firebird and when the security light came on, wasn't a month the VATS failed and we couldn't start it ever again had to get rid of it for peanuts wife has missed it ever since I have a 95 Z28 Purple 3.73 gears mild cam shift kit
The 6 speed manual is more desirable in this car, but I understand some can't or don't want to drive stick.
Mine blew a head gasket @60k miles
$7500 car, clean though
Beautiful car one of my favorite years except I noticed a weird sound at the rear crank Shaft balancer should be checked out
i saw that it was missing the flywheel cover but its still a really great car
The flexplate and torque converter are exposed. Ungood.
Wish it was a 1997. But nice Camaro.
I swear, I've said it like 20 times.... If I hit the lotto imma buy y'all's lot
Nice Camaro
Oh yes its a chevrolet
Nice looking car
Bilt motor????what size???
That's a lot of car for the money!
uh oh i think i want this car
HOW MUCH OF A DOWN PAYMENT I WOULD NEED?😃😃😃😃😃😃
That won't sit on the lot long.
That sure looks like a dent in the pan and if the sump is damaged it might send a check engine light but an easy fix.
Wow, just think, about how this was under 10k 2 years ago
😎
Is that stock exhaust?
This a good car for my first ever car?
🖤
I just got rid of my 95. Was a sad day. Had it for 16 years, put some money into it for upgrades but was just getting too expensive to maintain these last couple years. Q_Q 18:55 Tranny dipstick is out
Plastic doors.
Of course theres no rust under there.
It's unfortunate that these Camaros looked exactly like an overweight Geo Storm, because they were the first Camaro generation to have legitimate performance in a great many years.
I would buy for 6k. That's all in my bank account. 😆
what do you expect for a 28 year old car.I have one
Not an automatic, you need the 6speed
Sounds like an electrical problem
Black lines matter!! Lol
Catfish Camaro!
It's not. 98-02 were fish.
No 93-97 are sharks. 98-02 are catfish
Too bad it's a auto
This was the lamest era for the camaro. What were they thinking?
You must be young. Google "malaise era GM " for the right answer.
I love all your videos, with that being said, SO YOU ARE "THAT" GUY WHO DOESNT PULL UP TO THE NEXT PUM!? LOL
Lol
I have a 93 z28 automatic, ported original heads, exhaust and other goodies. Absolutely love it, except it eats a lot of gas.
