that was interesting to learn they came up with the design of the car through shapes of sea animals such as Orcas and Stingrays for these cars. Beautiful Body Designs
Not bad sound. Tips look much better. He has the wheels which match the era. Now he needs a phone antenna mounted to the rear glass, to really bring back that 90s look. 😎
Must be a stroker build stock camshaft? My LT1 was a 383 stroker and the old school CC306 cam. Now that sounded great. It ripped with 410 gears and a 3600 stall
And btw that's just an 5.7 lt1 350. Nobody would bore the block out, put a forged bottom end in it just to have a stock intake manifold and stock air intake and cam.
F-Bodies are great investments. I am seeing more of these appear on the roads nowadays. There is a reason why the prices are going up with these, especially hooked up with a V8 under the hood.
Mine a 94 with a Hooker exhaust. 5.7 6- speed. Yours is some sweet also. Tips changed to to a more throaty note. I plan on upping my HP soon. 383 sounds good.
I did my whole exhaust on my 2001 Trans Am WS6 BBK ceramic coated headers with no cats with 3 inch Borla exhaust. The headers were kinda a bitch to do but it was definitely worth the trouble. She sounds badass
I have a 95 Camaro V6 3.4 l with 72,000 original miles hardtop. In love with the car I call her slowpoke lol. Not sure what I want to do with it yet I have mixed emotions lol. Should I keep it stock and keep the miles low or do I put a bigger motor in it?
we had a 97 SS with a 383 stroker it got down but my buddies 08 charger gapped it with his girl in the car, vids on youtube i can drop link. was a fun car ppl didnt expect it to move that fast and a 60 year old man piloting it either.
Not to mention that restrictive ass garbage transverse Muffler. There's plenty of room to make it true duals that's what it needs with some Dynomax bullets.
“Built 388 stroker” and you cant hear the cam thump? I think its just a stock 350 unless someone really built a whole engine to put a stock cam back in it😂
It’s interesting the difference the tips make. You wouldn’t think they’d make a difference but there is a slight difference. New tips are far superior sounding and lookimg
Judging buy the sound, if that really is a 383/388 it’s very likely it’s some cookie cutter crate engine and putting down less than 400 wheel. Total waste of money. A well sorted lt1 383 can put down 450+whp, but they definitely don’t sound like a stock 350 with headers lol
Sounds like a stock lt1 which sounds better than any ls ever has imo. Cant believe they want to get rid of those tips. When i got my 4th gen it had those ricer quad tips on it. I paid alot of money to get a set of oem rectangle tips put on it, they look and sound better imo.
it sounds like a clapped out 5.7 to be honest ... I'd invest into a fresh rebuild with header's catless an xpipe and true dual into a flowmaster 50 dual in dual out system also get someone who can put the tips on equal length cause that alignment looks bad for the tips
That Gibson exhaust is just not bussin... They still make the Hooker Aerochamber kit for these cars? The old SLP Loudmouth 1 or 2 were great for a more racier sound.
Sounds terrible. I've never heard of Gibson exhaust that sounds good. Need the MagnaFlow transverse muffler and it would sound much better. That being said I'm not a fan of transverse Mufflers they sound just a little goofy.
I know this is a completely different class but I heard a Ford Explorer with the 3.5L V6 with a Gibson axle back exhaust and it sounded really good imo. I was thinking about getting it for my 2011 but it's a little expensive for me so I was thinking maybe go Dynomax race bullets or something.
There is no difference really in sound, just the appearance.💯
Sounded like a stock 350
Beautiful car
very beautiful
that was interesting to learn they came up with the design of the car through shapes of sea animals such as Orcas and Stingrays for these cars. Beautiful Body Designs

Cc306 had some chop
Awesome flashback! I had a red 94 Z28 back in the day! 😎👍
This episode should be titled “Just the tip.”
😂😂😂
Nice job on the fixes and the new exhaust tips look better. 🤘🏻😎🔨 Sounds pretty good.
I know whenever you comment, I can trust your opinion. Me and you always have similar tastes and know what sounds good or bad
I've always loved the way the quad tips look. So sick. Beautiful car
True dual it with some 2.5" pipe and some resonators. One of the nicest cars I've seen on the channel.
Sounds great and looks great. Terrific call on those tips.
Mildest 388 ive ever heard...more like a stok 350 with headers. Tips look nice!
Doesn't sound Half bad 🔥🔥
Mine a 94 with a Hooker exhaust. 5.7 6- speed. Yours is some sweet also. Tips changed to to a more throaty note. I plan on upping my HP soon. 383 sounds good.
388 with what looks like stock intake? 🤔
I highly doubt this is a stroker motor sounds pretty stock
Definitely A Fan Of 4th Generation Camaro/ Firebird/ Trans Am & Agree Flat Exhaust Tips Might Looked Good In 2000s But Not Now.
Would have been nice if they ventured the tips. The passenger side tip is closer to the license plate
I never cared for those flat tips, myself. The quads looks better.
I did my whole exhaust on my 2001 Trans Am WS6 BBK ceramic coated headers with no cats with 3 inch Borla exhaust. The headers were kinda a bitch to do but it was definitely worth the trouble. She sounds badass
I have a 94 with 87K miles on it. I love it. What is a good sounding muffler for it?
Borla is the best sound for it.
I had a 94. oh how i miss it!!!!!
It looks really great in terms of condition, and it sounds good with quad exhaust but it sounds almost the same imo
those are called baby grand piano exhaust tips 🤣
That is one nice Camaro!

Y pipe needs to go. This car deserves a true dual setup
I'm diggin' those wheels
Single 3" is choking that 388.
Not to mention that restrictive ass garbage transverse Muffler. There's plenty of room to make it true duals that's what it needs with some Dynomax bullets.
If it is actually a 383 stroker
stock cam?
The sound went up about 7 or 8 decibels and it's got more of a pop
Quad tips look better, but he should’ve added a X or H pipe. That would have improved the exhaust sound.👍🏾
Granted I’m a ford guy but pretty sure when you bore it over and add the 400 sbc parts, you get a 383 stroker. Stepdad had one in a 66 Deuce……
“Built 388 stroker” and you cant hear the cam thump? I think its just a stock 350 unless someone really built a whole engine to put a stock cam back in it😂
Not going to hear anything with that exhaust system with full cats and mufflers
The quad tips definitely look better
I wish he would have let it eat so I could hear the real monster inside that motor.
Those flat tips look better on c4 Corvettes
Sounded like rod knock with the old tips how is that possible😂
It’s interesting the difference the tips make. You wouldn’t think they’d make a difference but there is a slight difference. New tips are far superior sounding and lookimg
"Built 388" 😂😂😂
Someone lied to that guy
will buy old tips
That 388 has excellent oil pressure 😂
Judging buy the sound, if that really is a 383/388 it’s very likely it’s some cookie cutter crate engine and putting down less than 400 wheel. Total waste of money. A well sorted lt1 383 can put down 450+whp, but they definitely don’t sound like a stock 350 with headers lol
i see compression fitting brake lines lol
Sounds like a stock lt1 which sounds better than any ls ever has imo. Cant believe they want to get rid of those tips. When i got my 4th gen it had those ricer quad tips on it. I paid alot of money to get a set of oem rectangle tips put on it, they look and sound better imo.
put a spintech 9000 muffler
👍👍😁
stock LT1
Quad tips looked better flat tips sounded better 🤷♂️
👍💯.
I hope he didn't buy it because he was told it has a built motor. It's clean but doesn't sound even remotely modified except for exhaust.
Who ever designed the gauges on these F bodies should be in prison.
The cars have aged well though. Still turn my head when I see them
it sounds like a clapped out 5.7 to be honest ... I'd invest into a fresh rebuild with header's catless an xpipe and true dual into a flowmaster 50 dual in dual out system also get someone who can put the tips on equal length cause that alignment looks bad for the tips
Sooo clean. But that cracking sucks. And what the he'll is a 388
These are cool cars but it's hard to make them sound good.
No cam. Not a built motor. 388 my ass.
Sounds stock with crackle.
That Gibson exhaust is just not bussin...
They still make the Hooker Aerochamber kit for these cars? The old SLP Loudmouth 1 or 2 were great for a more racier sound.

Borla is the best.
@@CB12345 borla does sound good. Dynomax bullets and an x pipe and converted to a true duals is what this car really needs.
First comment let's go
Quads look and sound better
And those cooper cobras do NOT belong on that car.
Nope don't like the sound it sounds garbled need a different muffler.
This can’t be a built engine. Sounds like a stock lt1
BFG KDW'S Look better
That exhaust set up sounds horrible
Trash da Gibson get some vibrant bottle necks.
Usually love the sound of these cars but this one sounded like shit
Very Nice
