Interestingly, we do probably know what happened to Jeremy. Comedy Bot in SB says…
"Aren't parents the worst? Any of you kids have parents? Don't you hate it when your parents take you somewhere fun then abandon you? They are all like: "I guess if I dump little Jeremy off at his favorite pizzeria before I move to Aruba, that makes me a good parent.""

Yeah this seems like the most likely explanation to me, all the evidence rounds up really well and there’s far more to support this theory than there is to suggest you play as William and the runaway is one of his sons. It honestly fits so well that I would consider it solved, this is fantastic! The fact that Scott clarifies this in UCN with Toy Chica’s dialogue cements it for me. Well done!

This is the first theory about this minigame that has made like 99% sense to me.
"But there should be a greater point to this minigame" people only think that bc, since it is difficult to figure it out - and the fact that the car is purple-, it HAS to mean something important, it HAS to be about William. When it really doesn't have to be. Scott even made the sprites very vague in details, as to say "Hey don't worry about these guys, they don't matter, these are NOT the Afton's" At this point in time, we have already seen the sprites for Mike, CC and William; why would he make completely new ones? To confuse us? Maybe lol (looks at the purple car), but in all honesty, I don't think so.
What sells me on this, is the fact that Fruty maze exists and it's about of one the MCI, Suzie. If Fruity Maze was about one of the MCI, why not Midnight Motorist?
Also, we play as an abusive father, and for what we have seen from William in the games, he's not really like that; hell I even think he was a protective one. He tried to protect Elizabeth from getting close to Baby, and cared enough to "put back together" CC.
The only thing I disagree with, is that William used another suit to lure this kid. I believe he used the one he always uses, Spring Bonnie; "but what about the rain?" Easy, when William got to the house, it wasn't raining yet. After all, the game is called "Later that night"
Looks like William went after kids who were in pretty vulnerable situations, Suzie after the death of her dog; and this kid that lived in an abusive household. It was easier to get them close to him.
The only thing about the minigame that still has me confused, and no theory has a really satisfying answer, is the mound, but anyways, I LOVE this theory, especially that Chica line that you added, it made me go "OH SHIIIT THAT MAKES SENSE" lol. Great job! Sorry for the lengthy comment haha

While I'm happily open-minded to Midnight Motorist theories, and that this Gabriel theory seems plausible, here are the holes in this theory
    -Why the purple car?
-Why does William/Scraptrap suit only leave one pair of footprints and not multiple sets of footprints trailing off in the same direction as the human footprints, and also no footprints trailing towards the window since William has to have gotten to there somehow from somewhere else, and lured Gabriel out?
-What is the mound of dirt?
-Why is the minigame named "later that night", as though it's talking about itself happening after some other event, rather than before it?
-What is "that place" that Gabriel's father is referring to?

    • @gucciganglilaku
      @gucciganglilaku Год назад +4

That place is presumably freddys, Later that night could be later that night that the mci happened and the purple car can be explained by another theory saying that Gabriel’s Father was falsely accused of the mci and taken into custody due to his drunken behavior and purple car which would be similar to william. Which they eventually let him out of custody the midnight motorist mini game ensues.

There's a lot of unanswerable questions due to the nature of the minigame. Like why the text is the colour it is, why the protagonist is banned from Jrs. I suspect Jrs is also the location the missing person went to.

The FNAF1 newspapers imply MCI is five kids, and some of the footage shows two boys being lured in at the same time. Susie and Cassidy are accounted for as Chica and G. Freddy respectively, and we know two kids were lured in at the same time, leading to the story of the 5th child being untold. If Midnight Motorist is that story, then here’s (maybe) how the MCI goes:
1:Susie is targeted first using the dog that she lost (now presumably mangle or revived by remnant, or William is just lying).
2: Two boys are lured into the back together, this is seen on camera and is the inciting incident for the investigation listed in the papers.
3: A fourth child is lured in, presumably Cassidy.
4: William leaves in a normal costume, in the rain, after the restaurant has closed, to pick up a child from their home. The child is eager to leave because their dad is the town drunk.
5: Give Gifts, Give Life takes place, and 6 haunted animatronics (and maybe dog mangle and database powered toy animatronics) are now all trying to kill William/Michael/Jeremy in all the games.
In other words, we now know at least some details about the 5 FNAF 1 animatronics and where/who the souls originated from.

I think the core premise of Yellow Man being an MCI kid’s leaves less holes than if Yellow Man is an Afton, or even Henry as some speculate.
William being the town drunk is never even implied anywhere else, so putting it here (in a minigame that’s supposed to give us answers) would be really weird. However, Yellow Man being banned from the bar makes a lot more sense if it’s Scott trying to very quickly give us some details on a character we never met before.
William or Henry referring to (what everyone assumes is) a Freddy’s location as “that place,” also seems weird, since its such a key part of their lives. I mean, I wouldn’t ever call my job “that place,” ESPECIALLY if I founded the place.
While there are some holes in this theory, there are also holes in literally every Midnight Motorist theory, and overall I do think the general premise of Yellow Man’s identity is really sound.
I think the biggest issues, as other people pointed out, as the lack of explanation for the “Later that night” name, and more importantly, the mound of dirt.
Honestly, I could see the purple car just being some sort of coincidence or even deliberate misdirection, but the mound of dirt is a very intentional detail to where I’m convinced it has to mean SOMETHING.
I’d love a follow-up video with your thoughts on what they could potentially mean (if you have any)

I agree with the theory, except that the kid was from the MCI since William could have attracted another boy from the pizzeria and it would be easier, I think that in reality the boy from Midnight Motorist is Rory or a random kid who was kidnapped by William to experiment with him in the house of FNaF 4, and the mound outside the house could be an entrance to the Sister Location bunker that William would use to take the kid without being seen

    @PERIX_QR Год назад +3

That leaves about 2 statements from me:
    1. It's just driving me crazy..... All day I've been seeing connections between Fritz and Jeremy.
These are not only the names of the two of the missing children, but we see two people with the same name being the nightguards for FNAF 2.
With matpat's newest theory showing the emphasis RUIN has on foxy and bonnie with its collectibles.
With cassies dad potentially being the bonnie bully from FNAF 4.
And now with your FNAF 6 theory(this one) showing that Fritz and Jeremy being the only ones to not get an arcade machine...... I feel it's all trying to tell me something. I feel like that scott has been planting seeds for the future with all these connection.
And the there's also the facts that michael could very well be one of the nightguards in FNAF 2.
Not only does Fritz smith tamper with the animatronics, and not only does he get fired for odor (same as what mike would goes through)
But there still the name connection. Fritz and Jeremy. The bonnie and the foxy. The two animatronics mike can be associated with. If William is spring-bonnie. Then his son, michael, would be classic blue bonnie. Thus the connection between Jeremy.
And we can't forget forget the fact that Mike's favorite animatronic used to be Foxy. Thus the connection between Fritz smith.
And yet there's also the connection between the three fake identities if were to believe that all of them are in fact michael afton.
    Not only are FRITZ smith,
    And jeremy FITZgeRald similar.
    But so are michael SCHMIDT.
    And fritz SMITH.
It would make sense for all of these to be identities mike chose.
But there's still the question...... Why would Mike name himself after the dead kids?
    2. And I also think that it's very likely that yellow man and William are related.

My current theory is that YellowGuy is the vengeful spirit aka The One You Should Not Have Killed. Long story short, his wife died in childbirth. That's the grave he visits before going to the bar. "Later That Night" means MM takes place after Afton has already lured the kid away. YellowGuy finds the tracks and presumes the kid ran away to the pizzeria. That was the whole story up until Scott made UCN. Then he retroactively has YellowGuy follow his kid to the pizzeria, where he stumbles upon Afton's crime. Afton ambushes him and kills him. Then YellowGuy becomes TOYSNHK and was around the whole entire time only we never see evidence for his existence till UCN.

I said this on another MM video, and I still feel the same way:
Wasn't Pizzaria Simulator meant to be the final game? It was meant to tie up loose ends and explain everything. Why would Scott put in a minigame of a concept that hasn't been introduced yet, and one we'd have almost no way of understanding or solving?
I'm not denying that MM is solved. I think it probably is. I just think it's an illogical set up.

Scott doesn't seem to have the best understanding of how people will interpret his games. He didn't think that teasing FNAF4 as being in 1987 over and over just for it to end up being in 1983 would cause confusion, nor did he think people would be confused by the addition of a second purple guy.

Really good theory, just have some notes you can maybe think about. First up, I don't know what this adds to the story. I feel like there should be a greater point to this minigame. I also feel like Fruity Maze already represents all of the mci children through Suzy. Cassidy is at the moment so unclear, but she feels so important. Maybe this was Scott adding to his/her story. So than you have all of the gravestones represented (which was a really good detail of you to point out). I'm not sure if Cassidy is a girl, but I don't know that much about her. But if she is, wellll then maybe it is not impossible that this minigame is about her, like you said. Keep on theorizing man!

I mean, valid, but this theory leaves a lot more blanks then the others. Why is it called “later that night”? Why is the person SPECIFICALLY not allowed into jr’s? Where did the idea of a normal suit came from when all this time it’s implied that William was using the spring Bonnie this whole time. Why introduce the deaths of only 3 kids and omitting the other 2-3? Wouldn’t it make more sense for Scott to show us what happened to Charlie, One kids murder to clarify and affirm that yes William was killing in spring Bonnie and how he was doing it, and lastly Williams and (in my opinion) Micheals situation at home?

  • @DefinitelynotMedjed

Okay, that makes some sense. Two of the minigames are about MCI victims and the third should be about one either. I can even put aside all the details that heavely imply that it's Afton's house and William himself. (Purple car, lone house in the forest, dude in grey shirt in front of TV, the fact that yellow dude can't go persumably into fnaf 2 location because of the investigation of MCI) But why Wiiliam after killing 4 kids in specific manner decides to kill the 5th one in other way? How or...why did he bury himself wearing a suit? How did he change his suit from springtrap to other one beetween fnaf 3 and FFPS? This is the problem with this minigame. A lot of details can prove one of the theories but left aside details disaprove it.
P.S. I had an idea right now. What if this runaway-boy is Gregory? FFPS was released after Silver eyes and Twisted ones. The book trilogy that gave to us robot-Gregory and him being the crying child theories.

I think you’re missing some key points about the Afton mm theory, such as the fact that Crying child wasn’t a whiny bitch until the events of midnight motorist, and Michael can still be protective of his younger brother whilst trolling him. And the window wasn’t broken by the crying child, as clearly shown by the fact that there is no glass on the outside.
Also Freddy and Bonnie are killed together, and last. If your theory is still to be true, The runaway must be Foxy, but I don’t know enough about the books or extended lore to know how he died, so it may not even be possible. Besides, your theory leaves more unanswered questions than Afton MM.

Here’s a massive comment explains why the runaway is CC.
The run away was already trying to run away without needing intervention.
This is explicitly stated in MM by captain mustard.
Now imagine your locked up after running away. Then your favorite character personally comes to pick you up.
That’s a great reason to smash window if you a young child who lacks personal responsibility.
I don’t see Will going full uncle Ben, lol.
Immortal and the restless is mostly about miss Afton and Michael.
Miss Afton loves her kids. While Will is trying to avoid taking care of them.
The baby is mostly Michael. But is also about the other two kids. Elizabeth is in Circus Baby, and CC is referred to as a cry baby.
After her divorce is left with none of the kids. While Will is left with all the kids.
Making it so neither one got what they want. Being a great sign of a tragedy.
It would also explain why their isn’t a grave stone. Because he feels personally slighted.
That’s why he’d want to kill Charlie. Because he lost the thing he loved. That being his wife. While his friend still had his wife, and loved his children.
This would likely lead to him blaming his kids. Rather then his own bad behavior.
In the Dwako interview, Scott said that he needed to fix the story, after Fnaf 4.
The big thing about Fnaf 4 was that it was missing was a in-sighting incident. Without that theirs no story.
I have a lot of Fnaf 4 theories but the lack of a in sighting incident. Makes it impossible to theorize about. Because theirs no way to intuit the order of events.
I would recommend watching filmentos dark light video, to learn more about a in sighting incident.
Now you can imply a in sighting incident. Like Marcelines and Princess Bubblegums break up. However that’s a sub plot. And several episodes give you more then a enough understanding, about why the two would break up.
“I’m just your problem”. Being a great example as to why the two would break up.
Btw. Yes. I have watched Obsidian. It was good.
As for Wills color. The mechanic of yellow things becoming purple in shadow. Was hardly scene in fnaf four.
Also it would makes sense that would want to reintroduce that mechanic.
Because that mechanic is what allows CC to mistake Shadow Freddy for Fred Bear.
As to why Will isn’t purple mechanically. It’s because of the unreliable narrator. As the mini game is told from Wills perspective.
As to the bunny suit. That’s great idea. However their aren’t foot prints leading to the window.
Just to steel man. The house both in that game, and in fnaf 4. The house has a wooden porch.
If the character is a ghost that explains their isn’t set leading to the window.
In Fnaf Sister Location, the tv room dosnt look like it’s a corner.
As for Shadow Freddy’s motive. You can interpret that he’s good or uncaring in fnaf two and three.
However Nightmare is referenced as being shadow in the game files. Re painting him as being bad. This is furthered by fnaf world.
In Ultimate custom night. Nightmare spifficaly says that he isn’t. While nightmare Freddy refers to him self as a shadow.
One more thing Shadow Freddy is mainly shown to mimic Freddy. Explaining why the foot prints would be their.
As for more proof. MM gives a origin as to why the locks on the door are flipped in both the mini game and game play of fnaf 4.
CC seeing the nightmares explains why he is scarred of Foxy.
And him being locked in his room explains why he’s scarred of being trapped.

    Here's my interpretation:
    Orange Guy: Willian
Sofa person: Mrs Afton or a caretaker
    Runaway: Michael
I like this because its simple, doesn't rely on later lore or the assumption of an interlinked puzzle. In my opinion, FNAF should be treated as a story first.
Willian is orange because Scott wanted it so, either so it didn't blend too much with the dark environment or another reason. There is no broken glass on the outside because it wouldn't look good on a 8-bit game. This is also why the layout of the living room can't be compared with others, neither the fact that elizabeth's room is not present.
Also, love how people say it's Michael on the sofa based on his shirt colour and the fact he's watching TV.
