If Sammy was the Freddy mask bully then that would make much more sense of why William killed Charlotte, with him probably thinking "Your family destroyed mine, so I'll destroy your family in return" And for those who will say "But Sammy would've been 3/5 during Fnaf 4" That was in the Novels, Game Sammy could be older than his Novel counterpart, if you need proof of this possibility then look at Game and Film Vanessa, In Game universe, Vanessa a young adult during Fnaf Sb which is set around 2030. But in Film universe, She's still a young adult even though the film Canonically takes place in 2000, Game Vanessa would've been a Child in 2000 but Film Vanessa a full grown adult. So don't trust dates and ages in the different universes.

This could also explain why she calls Bonnie "Jeremy"-perhaps she knew the DCI before they were killed. If we assume she's the Pigtail Girl and knew Crying Child, it's likely she knew, or at least knew of, the DCI kids, if you believe the Crying Child was friends with or familiar with the DCI victims at some point.

Michael makes more sense as the runaway. CC was made scared of the animatronics by Other older Children pre fnaf 4, their dialogue in the Fnaf 4 mini games speaks to this as they are talking about past conversations with CC to CC. A big requirement of the runaway is that they trust an animatronic that suddenly appeared outside of their bedroom window, CC wouldn't do that, not during fnaf 4's mini games. Charlotte's death occurs in the evening as she'd have been attending the last party of the day before closing so Shadow Freddy existing as an actual entity before this like in pizzeria simulator points to CC dying before Charlotte Emily which ties into the failed attempt at happiest day in Fnaf 3. His story is told in the background of the mini games as Cassidy was set free leaving him behind. 'The party was for you' in the logbook even attests that someone missed the party meaning if that extra spirit in the book is indeed CC, he still lingers up to UCN which fits with him being Shadow Freddy and as such also UCN Fredbear.

Oh its crazy seeing the journey of Midnight Motorist theories from the early days where they were all William is protagonist adjacent (a highlight being William's father being the protagonist and William being the runaway) to the more out there interpretations that William in his Spring Bonnie suit was the owner of the footprints (mainly spurred by the Help Wanted game files being found showing his suit had the 3 toed footpads that the classics do) focusing on the runaway who's either Andrew, a member of the MCI or even Rory thanks to Dittophobia. And finally looping back to more or less the original interpretation that this is William driving home drunk after killing his friend's daughter and taking it out on his children. Quite a few debates go this way (not even exclusive even to FNAF, both author debates of Gravity Falls and The Owl House went this way) I find its a good sign that its not been retconned or whatever at least from release. Considering your interpretation would mean Midnight Motorist before FNAF 4, the location where Charlie died outside I could see either being a pre-rebrand Fredbear's before Freddy and Friends established Fredbear and Freddy as separate characters or some sort of precursor location to what would become Freddy Fazbear's Pizza in 1983. We'll have to see if Secret of the Mimic gives us any more info on Fazbear in this time period though to be certain. On the topic of FNAF 4, you can't forget that steam post Scott made at the time of the story of part 4 remaining completely hidden. (Matpat used this as justification for his dream theory but that doesn't really make in the context of the post where part 2 was completely solved and FNAF 3 was a similar deal) So the idea that all there was to the Crying Child's trauma was misinterpreting something innocent and what we see in the minigames isn't necessarily true. In fact Scott mentions in the other half of that clip from the interview of things being too vague and hard to interpret so its not impossible especially with the puppet imagery already present with the fnaf 4 that this was the original intent but it just wasn't made clear enough. I think Security Breach and FNAF 4 are very similar in that respect, it's just Steel Wool was making the interpretations of the story instead of us. That aside, I would love to see a video on the original intent of FNAF 4's story. People don't seem to really explore it that much beyond the surface level dream theory was retconned and matpat was right all along or whatever.

Right, but running away willingly with an animatronic is also not in David's [Crying Child] nature. As much as his favorite character is Fredbear, he's beyond confirmed to be afraid of the animatronics themselves. Why would he go with Shadow Freddy or really any animatronic?

I think this is the most truthful explanation of Midnight Motorist I've ever heard

One thing that I’ve always felt like didn’t match up with “later that night” referring to being after Charlie’s death is that midnight motorist happens at MIDNIGHT. The children’s party Charlie was at should only go as late as 8-9pm possibly even earlier since the children looked young. That would mean between Charlie’s murder and William getting home he’d have to have been driving for at least 3 hours on the road. Even if he’s not sober or sound of mind, 3 hours is an excessively long time to drive loops around the city which is difficult to explain. The other option being that the Freddy’s location Charlie died at was 3 hours away from Williams home which seems even less likely.

Can't we just say that Charlie dies at Fredbear's and CC/BV runs off to Freddy's and that's where he misinterprets something innocent? Cool vid btw.

About the Punishment... Idk, but i think there's an easy punishment that is way too undernose for the Runnaway, known as FNAF 4. FNAF 4 whole thing its that there's no Doors to Lock and no Windows in the room to jump. Which would counter the Runnaway's actions. So it would work if Michael is the Runnaway, since we have proof that Michael was there (As a Dream or not it doesn't matter)

Guys, lok, TV and Gray, Mikes whole characther traits... like, come on, Gray isn't a color exclusive of Michael, this sprite "Oh, but he talks in Gray text", when Scott makes someone talk, he takes the predominent color and make it their text, William talks in Yellow and Shrek talks in Green, so this isn't strong evidence. "Oh, but TV!!!" Like Michael is the only person in the FNAF Universe who watches TV. Is Oswald a Michael parallel because he watches TV? Oh, and the Clara reference makes it even worse, because yes, Clara argues with Vlad... but i remember that Vlad argues back. Yes, Michael is fearless (This is why he is most likely the Runnaway and is a Guard in FNAF 1, 2(?), 3, SL and PizzaSim), but i'm pretty sure that he would talk with William in that way, SPECIALLY considering that Michael don't talk that bluntly. In FNAF 2, phone guy only refers to Mangle as Foxy. He specifically says that some employees call him Mangle, implying that he isn't one of those employees. I'm pretty sure he considers Mangle and Foxy to be the same character. So even if Mangle did the bite, then he would say Foxy did the bite.

I think Runaway is better to be Micheal bc if it then would make sense for micheal to be sorry when he comes back and also why would William want CC to be sorry when he comes back why would William hate Cc I get Elizabeth and Mike but why CC. In the games it’s pretty obvious that William has some compassion for CC just the line “I will put you back together” and putting a walk-in talkie to make sure he is safe. I think that place has to be the dirt which is proabably CC grave. For the grey person only person I could think of is Mrs Aftom bc she is a real character in the game but I don’t see it as michel but that’s just my opinion

The fact the 'classics' looked the way they did in the original location of 1985 was pretty much proven in 'the week before' by Ralph, aka phone guy. - I've been saying this as a theory for so long, with a hefty amount of people strongly disagreeing with me until recently where more evidence has surfaced. One interesting thing that somebody pointed out is that into the pit actually might parallel midnight motorist (not the game theory parallel like an in universe. This has happened before.) The story is about pit trap/yellow thing a rabbit who pretends to be Oswald’s father and Oswald who constantly goes back to Freddy’s Constantly and is terrified after seeing something. He even sneaks out the window which sometimes the stitchwraith can be outside However, this doesn’t help with the runaway argument since Oswald has similarities to both Mike and crying child Crying child similarities: .He gets bullied .See something that makes him scared of the animatronics .Has the Fnaf 4 toys, the purple telephone being confirmed to be a toy of the crying child Michael similarities . He’s implied to be turned into foxy . Oswald seeing the Mci with pit trap is a reference to foxy go go go which has foxy see the 5 dead kids with “ Afton” watching him . If Mike runaway is true, then there is 3 members of the family at that point . Oswald is extremely brave.

I think into the pit just fucked up. This is the fans coping mechanism, if something doesn’t make sense, or something retcons something else. Then the fans will DESPERATELY cling to anything that will make their theories real. Into the pit was made by people, people are flawed, into the pit was flawed and the designs not being consistent is one of said flaws. You cannot convince me it has some deep lore implications, you just can’t, they fucked up that’s it. Or they intentionally used the classic designs, since they’re more recognizable, and didn’t take into consideration the unwitherds exist.

I honestly don’t care if the second MOVIE does that whole “these designs don’t make sense in context” cause they’re more of less just adapting the games. If Scott just used the first movies designs but withered the entire fanbase would go fucking mental. I would give him slack for that. I won’t give him slack for game lore retcons. The classic animatronics existing in 1985 is completely absurd. Saying the classics became the withered’s is so ridiculous to think about. They’re designed completely differently. The withered’s are larger, bulkier, different face molds, Chica beak is split into two large chunks, Freddy has upper teeth. It wouldn’t make a lick of sense. Scott implied this in UCN when he lazily took golden Freddy, made his hat purple and called that Fredbear. I’ll give a pass for the films, not for the games.

here's the current timeline of the main 4 (plus golden freddy and mr. cupcake) that makes the most sense. Fallfest: They are mascot suits, like the ones you'd see in Disney. Mimic Origins: Edwin is sent the costume suits, tasked with making them compatible with the new endoskeletons developed by William and Henry. these are essentially the classics but with very minor changes seen in ITP. Ive dubbed these the vintage animatronics. Before FNaF 2: Fazbear ent decides to retrofit the animatronics with newer technology and new outer shells but they turn out ugly so they are scrapped. I call them the retrofitted. FNaF 2: The retrofitted animatronics are used for parts to make the toys and become the withereds. FNaF 1: The withered were kept in hopes of opening another location (which turned out to be the 1985 location). They reuse the vintage designs used back in 1985 with small changes that make them the classic designs that are so iconic today. Follow Me Minigame: The classics are destroyed by William. William melts down their endoskeletons, extracts their remnant and injects it into the runtimes. (This does not put the souls into the funtimes!) The souls being freed from the animatronics springbuck William. FNaF 3: The remains of the animatronics are found and put up as decoration in Fazbears Fright. They burn down. FNaF SB: The blob does not contain the remains of the actual animatronics. Instead the blob contains the remains of Fazbear Funtime service characters (FNaF AR animatronics)

this is a very interesting theory about when the game takes place however i disagree with you regarding your thoughts on the recital ticket because in my opinion, it seems very random and it doesn't make sense why they would choose to have a ticket to a recital that has nothing to do with the one Sunny and Mari were supposed to attend. This is even more supported by the fact there is other official merch that also has the year 20XX on it (The hooligans jacket and the hobbez receipt). So this implies that the recital most likely did occur in the 21'st century. Regarding when i think Omori takes place, based off the dates in basils photo album and the fact that April 9, June 21, and September 9 are all school days and march 9th and 10th take place during the weekend if we look at the days of the week these days land on from 2000 onward only 2 years meet all these requirements. 2002 and 2013 (2024 also meets these requirements but the odds of the incident occurring this year and the real world events of the game taking place in the future are very VERY unlikely). This Implies that Mari most likely died in October of 2002 or October of 2013 meaning that the events of the Real World segments in the main game are set in most likely the summer of 2007 or the summer of 2018. There is a problem with the theory of Maris death in 2002 and the Real World in 2007 however and this is due to plutos involvement in headspace. In headspace it seems to he heavily implied that Pluto is no longer a planet and as you most likely know this did actually happen where pluto was officially declassified as a planet in 2006 and as we know headspace is mostly based on events from before the incident so if Mari died in 2002 and Pluto wouldn't be declassified as a planet until 4 years after the incident occurred it wouldn't make much sense for it to be in headspace. 2013 however is several years after Pluto was declassified as a planet and it would make sense as according to the Omori wiki, 2013 was they year the game was announced so it would make sense why OMOCAT (the developer of the game) would choose this year to be the year the incident occurred and based on all the other evidence like the dates in the photo album, some of the merch, and pluto in headspace. That all seems to be pointing toward 2013 being the year the incident occurred and the events of the Real World segments in the game taking place most likely in the summer of 2018. again this is just my opinion based on the evidence i have gathered. this is all just speculation nothing has been confirmed of denied i just kind of wanted to throw my opinion out there.
