Here’s the thing, the Funtime Freddy hand in Into The Pit’s Count the Ways mini game has Bon Bon on it. This is IMPORTANT because that was not true in the original story. In my opinion, that means that these events happened in the games but in different contexts. So Millie was killed by Funtime Freddy but she was just one of the victims of the Funtimes being rented out. Eleanor meanwhile? My best guess is that she is to Baby/Elizabeth as Pittrap is to Afton. Likely some kind of agony/dark remnant monster with some amount of their soul or sentience or consciousness inside
@Starfallsupersonic It’s definitely a metaphorical mini game but Bon Bon wasn’t there in the story. They could have made F.Freddy’s face or something if they wanted to represent him. Using Bon Bon specifically feels intentional. Not to mention that it’s a version of Foxy Go Go Go,which took place in a Freddy’s location
Honestly, so what? The minigames are rough retellings of the stories, contorted agony memories formed by the ballpit. And it's never directly stated that Bon Bon isn't there, he just isn't mentioned or described. And I'm surprised that's the detail you bring up, considering the Fetch minigame uses the Jeff's Pizza layout when that just isn't the case in the original. Still, I don't think we should rule out StitchlineGames because of this.
I agree, I think it's heavily implied that the animatronic in count the ways is funtime freddy. I don't see how that's compatible with the SL/innard/molten freddy chain of events in the games though. It's hard to make this fit in the game timeline.
@@Angermations Into the Pit de-confirms Stitchline games, right? Like,ITP is part of Stitchline and the game has tons of differences. AT BEST Stitchline *was* part of the games but is now being changed and retold
Personally, I think we should only consider some parts to this game to be canon. What I find the most crazy, is that Oswald’s Dad (in the books), isn’t really hinted at being the Freddy bully, but this game seems to support this idea. Not only does it explain the behavior of PitTrap, but also gives some light on it. Even though PitTrap isn’t THE William Afton, it’s still a manifestation of his agony, which can also contain memories that the real William would have. When PitTrap captures Oswald’s dad, from the entire 5 nights, nothing bad happens to him. The Bad Ending (probably not the canon ending), has Oswald get captured by PutTrap, with Oswald’s dad in shock. And we see Oswald (probably) about to get killed. While this is more speculation, but hear me out. PitTrap swaps out with Oswald’s Dad, and personally wants to kill Oswald however and whenever no one is around. One of PitTraps voice lines states, “I’ll make you suffer, just like I did”. Maybe indicating this is personal? If we are to believe Oswald’s Dad is the Freddy Bully, it explains why he didn’t kill him, it was all a trap, so that Oswald would get captured, so that PitTrap can kill Oswald, just like how Oswald’s dad unintentionally killed Dave back in 83.
Pretty good video, I agree with most of your points made here. Though, the small details and minigames are pretty confusing and honestly pretty frustrating to figure out. I kinda just wish Steel Wool and Megacat just explained the lore to us without needing to leave out details, add random things, and overcomplicate relatively simple stories.
Fr. Either that or an honest Q&A with Scott about what HE intended to be the solution to some things. Especially things from the original 4 games, since they're one story and he was the only one involved with them at the time
On the side note, I’m more frustrated into how to interpret the minigames and game in Into the Pit. I’ll share my guesses: ITP- Freddy Bully has Oswald; story takes places in either 2029 or 2018-2021 Idfk; Jeff bought out Fazbear relics, possible that Fazbear LLC stole them for their museum; Pittrap might be the agony from William’s torture from UCN, he probably hid in the ballpit and the pit was shipped to Jeff’s; Jeff’s is probably Freddy’s due to TWB talking about “expansions.” The 1985 place might be mixed with the memories of both MCI and DCI since DCI has six blood puddles, but it could be Oswald as the sixth kid if Loop theory is correct. I brought up DCI because of BB ongoing appearances in each minigames in ITP. Vengeful Spirit is still around with the 1s and 0s with activating the arcades symbolizing “always watching” Fetch- With Golden Freddy’s appearance and the possibility that this minigame and the OG story being set after FFPS, this makes me think that MoltenMCI Alter-S is confirmed. And with the safe room being locked in ITP and no ballpit in Fetch, I feel like ITP is either set after FFPS because of this. And if Vengeful Spirit is still around, this mind mean that Cassidy could be the Vengeful Spirit or that Cass is trying to look for Vengeful Spirit- but I’m going to wait for the Fetch adaptation to see who’s Fetch and who’s Golden Freddy. To Be Beautiful- Idfk honestly. A little fanfictiony, but I think Eleanor was Henry’s attempt to rebuilding an animatronic with parts from Circus Baby and Ballora to find a way to bring back Elizabeth but failed- and now Shadow Freddy hunts for agony and ends up possessing Eleanor. Or that Scrap Baby is using an illusion disc to kill more people with the heart pendant. And with the whole heart pendant in the games, I’m assuming either William created it or it’s still Talbert who created it. CTW- This is more frustrating. I suppose this is saying Millie possesses THE Funtime Freddy due to Bon Bon being put there, but another theory is that she might’ve possessed Bonnet due to Millie’s eyes being green. So it could be that CTW’s Funtime Freddy might be Yenndo and that William made that so he can continue rendering more remnant with him combining an amalgamation for immortality, bleh bleh bleh bleh bleh… Honestly, I’m mindless over ITP and I feel like Return to the Pit would be a novelization that might canonize Loop theory. I rather not care about the book debate after the anniversary. Just hope the community would get along and deal with their issues
@Starfallsupersonic Understandable, but since it’s never identified if Andrew possesses Golden Freddy. So I see it to be pretty odd, but some people are saying that this debunks Andrew possessing Golden Freddy- again, it’s odd to me.
I think a lot of what people are saying is evidence that ITP (the game) makes the frights books canon to the game timeline is a reach. Most of the references to the books (all of the stuff in the security office, the kids at play statue) are in a sprite sheet names "EasterEggs". As usual, people are taking every detail a little too seriously. The minigames don't really match up with the books descriptions of events either. Maybe we're getting a Frights series of games that are in a different continuity than the Afton games.
@@Cross_Corp64 the minigame is literal built like save them from fnaf 2 Greg=withered freddy, molten mci alter s doesn't make sense, why didn't cassidy start ucn after she "attached herself into afton" Fnaf 3 bad ending and molten freddy eyes already should confirm molten mci by the default, its simple design connections, *its not that deep*
ehhhhhh I think this video is a lil too stretchy over irl events we just simply don't have the full details on. I'm really happy with megacat's Frights games because whether they double down or differ on the frights canon It would be a good source of clarity on any misinterpretations we've had over connecting the two canons imo. Maybe it's easier for me not to get frustrated because I genuinely enjoy Frights as just their own thing and use them to inspire how I interpret the game canon.
Actually, I would like the Frights to become canon. All those stories are really good, especially the Stitchwraith, already from some easter eggs in Into The Pit it is clear that some of the Frights stories are canon, (like the Stitchwraith easter egg to the window) so
@Starfallsupersonic yes but, obviously not all the stories are canon, as Scott also said in the interview, he didn't like the story He Told Me Everything very much, so it's most likely not canon, like the Tales From The Pizzaplex stories, some stories are obviously canon and others not
@Starfallsupersoniccoming home can be explained by being writters filling up some bits of the story And the story would never make sense if samantha bring susie's dog from the dead What we found is a fnaf 3 prequel "But springtrap's arrival", writters made the decision to recontextualize his arrival since the story would be boring
Goodness, I’ve always been against the idea that Frights and Tales were in the Gameline through 2023-2024 and I thought solving the lore would’ve been easier if they were separated. But since I almost left the community due to the Tales Games tsunami of the 10th anniversary, I end up becoming a Tales Games believer since that book series makes the most sense with lore crap. I’ll say that even though Secret of the Mimic ends up doing the same treatment with Tales Games like ITP, I’ll be in rest for good that Scott indeed had quality problems with the Tales books. So with the ITP Game and Mega Cat’s future, I feel like that most of Fazbear Frights and Tales from the Pizzaplex (including the Graphic Novels) are just… inaccurate or outdated with the lore at this point. I’m going to treat both of them as the Revenge of the Sith movie and novel. The Revenge of the Sith Movie had a full Novelization where it sprinkled so many details in the story that it expanded the story to be more interesting for the audiences, but some of that wasn’t in the movie- because the movies are now the definitive version of how the story plays out. And we did had this with the FNAF Movie and its Novelization. And because this is Scott Cawthon who went through book shenanigans and mainly quality problems with Security Breach, I feel like that wanted to write out most of the lore from Frights and Tales; so he had to start shortly after SB with the Mimic/SB lore around Tales #4-6 to fill in gaps, and he used VIP to connect the pieces for good- but if SOTM does start a “Tales Reboot,” I wouldn’t be bothered, maybe the “No Edwin” would shock me the most. As for Frights, I think it’ll be cool to have Mega Cat focus more on adapting the important stories from Frights and Tales to course correct and fix the version of how the timeline plays out. But with what Scott said about the Frights from before, I think the books are more of the novelization of the adaptations by giving insight on the lore, kinda like my ROTS example. And if Scott is quiet over Tales from the Pizzaplex because of SB, then he might be quiet about ITP as well since most of the Anthology books are pretty inaccurate and outdated now. With the ITP Game and onwards, I believe in the “Stitchline Reboot” theory, and I think there will be a “Tales Reboot” to fix things like Edwin’s timeline from the books for example or Steve’s death. Edit: Sire Squawks made a video about the ITP Game’s canonicity. This might be a great idea about the Reboot Theory: ruclips.net/video/v462yGTXWR0/видео.htmlsi=nysLiki0dzrq4beA
Well I'm pretty sure the into the pit game also isn't cannon considering how scott talks about it's creation in the interview, it was built to be a spinoff, a spinoff that needs to be lore accurate, but in the same way silver eyes and the movie have to be lore accurate.
I'd like more proof to "The books are inaccurate" please. The one piece of evidence you gave doesn't even work under the Real Value Code = 2015 theory, which I personally believe. That would give Pizza Sim around five years before the Stitchline, assuming the Stitchline happens around 2020, and 7 years before the Mimic epilogue. People in-universe don't typically think of the FNAF1 location's closure, rather the 1985 location's, therefore "30 years after Freddy Fazbear's Pizza closed it's doors" would be 2015, and FNAF 6 would happen around then too. Tales mentions the pizzeria having years worth of dust anyways. All in all, the books don't have any inaccuracies that I can find and there isn't anything that needs to be fixed about them - there aren't holes in the story, just holes in our judgement.
