I immediately had to go try this game. Its amazing. Im not really scared by horror games anymore but they still make me panic sometimes, and this game is amazing at that. I made it to night 8 before I overlooked some random character for a split second and died for it lol. I would recommend it, it gets overwhelming quick but in the best way possible.

Just because someone else had a similar idea and made it already doesn't mean you should throw out your idea, in the end the originality of the idea isn't that important, how the idea is executed is what's important, take Vampire Survivors and Brotato for example, in both games you start by picking a character, and then you get a weapon to go with the character, in VS, each character is assigned a weapon while in Brotato, each character has a list of starting weapons that you can choose from, both games are horde survivors with waves that happen based on a timer, in VS, upgrades happen during the waves and there is no time to breathe in between waves, while in Brotato, upgrades happen in between waves and also act as breathing room where you can get your bearings and think about how each decision will impact your run. What I'm trying to say is, just because an idea has already been made doesn't mean you can't make your own version because you'll have different ideas and execute them in a way other people might not have. If you have an idea that you think will make for a good game then you should at least give it a shot when you're bored and have nothing better to do, even if you don't know how to code or make games at all, just try make one piece, see if it works, if it does then go on and try make another piece, if it doesn't work, try change it slightly and test it again, repeat until it works. Now I'm not saying game dev is easy, I know firsthand that it is not, but if you keep trying different things until it works, then eventually you'll figure out what does and what doesn't work which means you'll get better at it, even if you make the game and it never evolves past a bunch of code sitting in your computer, then you at least learned how to make that bunch of code....so yeah, if you've got time and nothing better to do, try write a bit of code (or even use a visual programming language like Scratch, Stencyl, Unity's visual scripting or Unreal's blueprints) and see where it takes you. Now if you would excuse me, I'm off to finally get the last few achievements in VS, which is very important and shall not be interupted
I think this sounds like a really cool game. Maybe I'll play it soon, and two things I think it'd be cool to add in if they want is a mode that makes the game look like standard FNAF (3d renders and stuff, or maybe as just a mod), and maybe custom things? This seems like the perfect game for allowing custom animatronics/penalties/items that use pieces of the traits of other things, in order to extend replayability, even when the game is no longer able to be worked on, or takes a long time between updates.
I have already fallen in love with this game, been playing it for a good while, its well done, and on my 1st run I did get a run ending bug but it seems fairly rare. Overall though as someone who fucking loves roguelikes, this game is definitely a new favorite fnaf fangame of mine.
