Female Japanese J/Metal bands are outstanding as you know, but this is Lovebites the only all female J/Metal band to play Wacken Open Air in Germany (2018) along with Bloodstock (2018) and Hammer's Best new Metal band (2018). Hi. For those who said that I didn't talk about the drummer (WHO IS JUST FXXXING EPIC): when I was editing the video, I noticed that too, and I feel so sorry because I've never seen someone playing the drums like THIS and it happens when you and your instrument are the same thing. I admit that I was distracted by ALL the absolutly amazing sounds that were exploding on the stage and it was so mindblowing that I didn't even know what to say or on wich instrument being more focused. Many of us are fascinated by how unique Haruna's drumming is and looking for analysis from a drummer but she is often ignored. Lets see what you think of the wall of sound she creates on Addicted, the unique double kick usage on Break the Wall and The Hammer of Wrath. I'm a bass player and often the drummer is nothing more than a metronome to me some are downright boring. Not Haruna she draws all my attention. The only other drummer that would do that was Neil Peart.
Miyako and Midori on guitar is a hard duo to beat. Not that the rest of this old lineup isn't incredible (bassist left the band, nothing to do with the band she is just trying to figure out her life after losing her father) it's just...how do you lock down two two women of that caliber in one band?

LOVEBITES is a relatively new band formed in 2016, but made a major debut the following year, and before the pandemic, they were energetically doing band activities mainly in Japan / UK / EU. And they performed as the first Japanese band (probably the first female band) on the WET stage of the world's largest metal festival "WACKEN OPEN AIR 2018", and made more than 10,000 spectators enthusiastic. .. Ma prima ascolta "Swan song" con l'intro "Studio di Chopin" eseguito al pianoforte da Miyako, la chitarrista di dx bruna e poi passa a "Edge of the World", "Epilogue" e" Empty daydream" e troverai non solo qualità d'esecuzione ma pure creatività nei pezzi (fanno tutto loro, dalla musica, il testo e l'arrangiamento) con i testi che sono molto profondi. Un'ultima cosa, come avrai notato sono vestite di bianco per due motivi: essendo basse di statura, specialmente Asami, la cantante di origine R&B, devono vedersi bene fino in fondo ai teatri dove si esibiscono e poi portano avanti un discorso di Metal "positivo", contrastante il dilagare del Metal dark e cantato growl. They have influences from Iron Maiden, Slayer, Metallica, Judas Priest, Deep Purple, Dragonforce, Helloween, and even Gary Moore but they have been developing their unique style. Some people say that they are redefining metal. It’s recommended to react to their live performances because they really shine at it, except “Bloodstuck” (bad audio). They performed at Wacken Open Air, Germany, in 2018. This band formed in 2016. Yes, in 5 years those twin lead guitar solos are already legendary. I am an old guy from Texas that has been listening to rock/metal for over 50 years now. I started to dive into the Japanese rock and metal scene about 2 years ago. Before that, I had only listened to Maximum the Hormone. After listening to many, many Japanese bands, three became my top three and they all happen to be all-female bands. They are Lovebites, Band-Maid and Nemophila. In fact, I think they are the top all-female bands in the world, followed closely by The Warning and Nervosa. You have reacted to Lovebites and Nemophila so time to listen to Band-Maid. They have been around the longest of the three, having formed in 2013. They started out a bit slow but once their label and/or management let the band (mainly Kanami the lead guitarist) take control of their music they have improved dramatically. I suggest you start with their live performances of the songs Domination, Freedom and Play. Domination and Play were written by Kanami and the lyrics to all 3 are by the rhythm guitarist Miku Kobato. You will be truly impressed by their drummer, Akane Hirose, and their bassist, Misa. All three videos are amazing and all three can be found on their RUclips channel. Enjoy!

Female Japanese J/Metal bands are outstanding as you know, but this is Lovebites the only all female J/Metal band to play Wacken Open Air in Germany (2018) along with Bloodstock (2018) and Hammer's Best new Metal band (2018). Insane talent from petite models who wear white dresses and high heels to perform LIVE so they standout from other bands and are easier to see on stage. They play everything flawlessly especially LIVE and the guitarists maybe the main attraction but this entire band is outstanding. Like all great Japanese bands they are true musicians meant to be experienced LIVE. Asami/vocals at 4' 10'' never sang metal till she joined this band and was a backup RnB/Jazz/Soul singer and is an ex-ballerina student. All these women perform with no effort and no sweat even in high heels for 2 hours!!!!

Hi. For those who said that I didn't talk about the drummer (WHO IS JUST FXXXING EPIC): when I was editing the video, I noticed that too, and I feel so sorry because I've never seen someone playing the drums like THIS and it happens when you and your instrument are the same thing. I admit that I was distracted by ALL the absolutly amazing sounds that were exploding on the stage and it was so mindblowing that I didn't even know what to say or on wich instrument being more focused. Many of us are fascinated by how unique Haruna's drumming is and looking for analysis from a drummer but she is often ignored. Lets see what you think of the wall of sound she creates on Addicted, the unique double kick usage on Break the Wall and The Hammer of Wrath. I'm a bass player and often the drummer is nothing more than a metronome to me some are downright boring. Not Haruna she draws all my attention. The only other drummer that would do that was Neil Peart.
Miyako and Midori on guitar is a hard duo to beat. Not that the rest of this old lineup isn't incredible (bassist left the band, nothing to do with the band she is just trying to figure out her life after losing her father) it's just...how do you lock down two two women of that caliber in one band?

LOVEBITES is a relatively new band formed in 2016, but made a major debut the following year, and before the pandemic, they were energetically doing band activities mainly in Japan / UK / EU. And they performed as the first Japanese band (probably the first female band) on the WET stage of the world's largest metal festival "WACKEN OPEN AIR 2018", and made more than 10,000 spectators enthusiastic. .. If You can't believe it react please to this: "Chopin etude+Swan song". Ah, ho sentito che parli italiano o sei Italiana, ci sono più di 50 pezzi creati da loro in 5 anni di attività, quindi ti aspetta un mondo nuovo, diverso dal solito, suonato tutto dal vivo (consiglio vivamente i concerti di Tokio) e anche quei pezzi come "Liar", "Eagle fly free" (cover degli Halloween) e "Burden on time" eseguiti durante la chiusura per pandemia in studio. Ma prima ascolta "Swan song" con l'intro "Studio di Chopin" eseguito al pianoforte da Miyako, la chitarrista di dx bruna e poi passa a "Edge of the World", "Epilogue" e" Empty daydream" e troverai non solo qualità d'esecuzione ma pure creatività nei pezzi (fanno tutto loro, dalla musica, il testo e l'arrangiamento) con i testi che sono molto profondi. Un'ultima cosa, come avrai notato sono vestite di bianco per due motivi: essendo basse di statura, specialmente Asami, la cantante di origine R&B, devono vedersi bene fino in fondo ai teatri dove si esibiscono e poi portano avanti un discorso di Metal "positivo", contrastante il dilagare del Metal dark e cantato growl. Well it seems that you have been severely lovebitten, too. Welcome to the mind-blowing world of Lovebites. These women are extremely talented, skillful and exceptional musicians. They have influences from Iron Maiden, Slayer, Metallica, Judas Priest, Deep Purple, Dragonforce, Helloween, and even Gary Moore but they have been developing their unique style. Some people say that they are redefining metal. It’s recommended to react to their live performances because they really shine at it, except “Bloodstuck” (bad audio). They performed at Wacken Open Air, Germany, in 2018. This band formed in 2016. Yes, in 5 years those twin lead guitar solos are already legendary. My next recommendation is “Thunder vengeance” (concert “Five of a kind, Zepp Divercity, Tokyo, 2020”) or “Hammer of wrath” (same concert). By the way, they toured The UK with Dragonforce in 2019 and they are good friends.

I am an old guy from Texas that has been listening to rock/metal for over 50 years now. I started to dive into the Japanese rock and metal scene about 2 years ago. Before that, I had only listened to Maximum the Hormone. After listening to many, many Japanese bands, three became my top three and they all happen to be all-female bands. They are Lovebites, Band-Maid and Nemophila. In fact, I think they are the top all-female bands in the world, followed closely by The Warning and Nervosa. You have reacted to Lovebites and Nemophila so time to listen to Band-Maid. They have been around the longest of the three, having formed in 2013. They started out a bit slow but once their label and/or management let the band (mainly Kanami the lead guitarist) take control of their music they have improved dramatically. I suggest you start with their live performances of the songs Domination, Freedom and Play. Domination and Play were written by Kanami and the lyrics to all 3 are by the rhythm guitarist Miku Kobato. You will be truly impressed by their drummer, Akane Hirose, and their bassist, Misa. All three videos are amazing and all three can be found on their RUclips channel. Enjoy!
