I am 60 listen to them 3 weeks time last year and also the other japanese bands. Now i can feel my last nerve crack after 20 seconds. And i can listen to Arch Enemy & Jinjer & Rammstein all day and just feel relaxed.

I'm happy as one of their fans because they tend to be judged only by their appearance and underestimated without even listening to their performances. LOVEBITES is a new band founded by Miho (bass) and Haruna (drums) in 2016, but made their major debut in just half a year from the first stage and was active mainly in Japan / UK / EU. Just a word of advice, stay away from any Bloodstock shows because they have horrible audio. The rest is up to you, if you're a metal fan you won't get any bad songs from this band. Power metal, thrash metal, hard rock, ballads, this band does all this and more. EDIT: It is the first time that I write this in any reaction channel but I think you should see this at some point, hopefully in some reaction. Welcome to the best new metal band to come along in decades. In their five years of existence as a band, they set a standard that easily puts them on a par with the greatest bands of metal’s golden age. Other reviewers have described them as alien superheroes disguised as young women, angels sent to save us, princesses of metal, and angry bridesmaids. Whatever the description, I think one can say they have given metal a badly needed makeover and maybe a new lease on life. They have themselves said that part of their mission is to save heavy metal from darkness and obscurity. Some background: They were formed in 2016 from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan since at least 1981). Miho (bass, chief headbanger and soul of the band) had a vision of a new band in the style of the greatest European bands of the golden age of metal. She recruited her former bandmate Haruna (drums, 4'9" “pocket nuclear reactor”); they needed two world-class guitarists, and so they went and found Midori and Miyako, who were with other bands. The whole group then found Asami, the singer, who was doing soul and blues at the time (she also trained in ballet). Miyako has composed most of their music, with Miho composing a lot of their thrashier songs in collaboration with Mao, the lead composer of another band called Lightbringer. Midori has also been getting into the act, and they regularly perform a song written by Haruna as well. Asami writes most of the lyrics. They studied all the great historical metal bands going back to Purple and Sabbath, through Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Helloween, Slayer etc. They toured with Dragonforce in 2019, and word from those in attendance is that next time around, it will be the ladies headlining. They have incorporated some of the best of each of those bands into their arsenal, and have created a sound that is fresh and cutting edge while paying tribute to the old masters. This is one of their usual first songs for reactors, and rightly so--you get a good sense of the band. They do everything from soulful power ballads to heavy thrash. Almost every song includes face-melting solos by Miyako and Midori. The two guitarists are quite different in style and tone. Midori (blonde ponytail) is the extrovert and speed demon; Miyako is the introvert, with the more soulful feel (though she can also shred like a demon). Midori uses a cleaner tone, Miyako uses more distortion, pinch harmonics and pedal effects. The contrast makes their duets rich and dynamic. It doesn’t hurt that either one can smoke most of the shredders in the classic metal bands. As another reviewer said, "It seems criminal these two are allowed to be in the same band." Lovebites put up some of their older songs that were on a different channel, albeit edited to remove the promotional bits that were from 2017. Shadowmaker is the one that cemented my admiration for this band. 🤘🐺🤘

Most Japanese girls learn a music instrument since they are young and many become damn near prodigies. But you really need to check out this explosion of Japanese all women bands. Aside from Lovebites there is Aldious, Band Maid, Nemophila, Seisega to name a few....

The band is currently on hiatus after the bassists departure, there was even talks that they might disband since Miho the bassist was the leader and co-creator of this band, good they actually decided no to disband and instead they currently till may 24 have auditions for a new bassist. Hope to see them comeback this year.
@@marbenthesaffa Well in the downtime of them being on a temporary hiatus you might wanna check the band members previous bands, the drummer Haruna and their ex-basist Miho were from DESTROSE another all female power metal band that was insanely goood. For MIyako you might wanna check her side project with Aya Kamiki who is in top 10 of japanese female rock stars, the project is called Sonic Lover Recless but they only have one song, there is also A Drop of Joker. And the other guitarist Midori was part of Gekijou Metalicche. In case of Asami the vocalist i dont have any info on her being in any band previously other than she had quest live appearences as female backing vocals for bands like VAMPS and Uverworld from which i recommend the first one as its one of the bands of the biggest japanese rockstar HYDE. and his songs will literally blow your mind away.

Lovebites are a once in a generation band. You shold react to the live videos of 'Set the World on Fire', 'Break the Wall'. 'When Destinies Align', 'Signs of Deliverance' and for something different 'Edge of the World', Epilogue' and 'Swan Song' with the piano inttro.

I am 60 listen to them 3 weeks time last year and also the other japanese bands. Now i can feel my last nerve crack after 20 seconds. And i can listen to Arch Enemy & Jinjer & Rammstein all day and just feel relaxed.

LOVEBITES is a new band founded by Miho (bass) and Haruna (drums) in 2016, but made their major debut in just half a year from the first stage and was active mainly in Japan / UK / EU. They have participated in major metal festivals in each country, including "WACKEN OPEN AIR 2018", and have already received high praise.

Just a word of advice, stay away from any Bloodstock shows because they have horrible audio. The rest is up to you, if you're a metal fan you won't get any bad songs from this band. Power metal, thrash metal, hard rock, ballads, this band does all this and more.
EDIT: It is the first time that I write this in any reaction channel but I think you should see this at some point, hopefully in some reaction. I did not know anything about this band 2 weeks ago. And that happened. I listened to "Holy war". Their music went straight to the heart. I'm totally Lovebittened.

Welcome to the best new metal band to come along in decades. In their five years of existence as a band, they set a standard that easily puts them on a par with the greatest bands of metal’s golden age. Other reviewers have described them as alien superheroes disguised as young women, angels sent to save us, princesses of metal, and angry bridesmaids. Whatever the description, I think one can say they have given metal a badly needed makeover and maybe a new lease on life. They have themselves said that part of their mission is to save heavy metal from darkness and obscurity. Some background:
They were formed in 2016 from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan since at least 1981). Miho (bass, chief headbanger and soul of the band) had a vision of a new band in the style of the greatest European bands of the golden age of metal. She recruited her former bandmate Haruna (drums, 4'9" “pocket nuclear reactor”); they needed two world-class guitarists, and so they went and found Midori and Miyako, who were with other bands. The whole group then found Asami, the singer, who was doing soul and blues at the time (she also trained in ballet). Miyako has composed most of their music, with Miho composing a lot of their thrashier songs in collaboration with Mao, the lead composer of another band called Lightbringer. Midori has also been getting into the act, and they regularly perform a song written by Haruna as well. Asami writes most of the lyrics.
They studied all the great historical metal bands going back to Purple and Sabbath, through Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Helloween, Slayer etc. They toured with Dragonforce in 2019, and word from those in attendance is that next time around, it will be the ladies headlining. They have incorporated some of the best of each of those bands into their arsenal, and have created a sound that is fresh and cutting edge while paying tribute to the old masters.
This is one of their usual first songs for reactors, and rightly so--you get a good sense of the band. They do everything from soulful power ballads to heavy thrash. Almost every song includes face-melting solos by Miyako and Midori. The two guitarists are quite different in style and tone. Midori (blonde ponytail) is the extrovert and speed demon; Miyako is the introvert, with the more soulful feel (though she can also shred like a demon). Midori uses a cleaner tone, Miyako uses more distortion, pinch harmonics and pedal effects. The contrast makes their duets rich and dynamic. It doesn’t hurt that either one can smoke most of the shredders in the classic metal bands. As another reviewer said, "It seems criminal these two are allowed to be in the same band." Miyako is also a professional-level classical concert pianist, and was headed for a career in classical music, before picking up the guitar. Lovebites put up some of their older songs that were on a different channel, albeit edited to remove the promotional bits that were from 2017. Shadowmaker is the one that cemented my admiration for this band. 🤘🐺🤘

Most Japanese girls learn a music instrument since they are young and many become damn near prodigies. But you really need to check out this explosion of Japanese all women bands. Aside from Lovebites there is Aldious, Band Maid, Nemophila, Seisega to name a few....

The band is currently on hiatus after the bassists departure, there was even talks that they might disband since Miho the bassist was the leader and co-creator of this band, good they actually decided no to disband and instead they currently till may 24 have auditions for a new bassist. Hope to see them comeback this year.

@@marbenthesaffa Well in the downtime of them being on a temporary hiatus you might wanna check the band members previous bands, the drummer Haruna and their ex-basist Miho were from DESTROSE another all female power metal band that was insanely goood. For MIyako you might wanna check her side project with Aya Kamiki who is in top 10 of japanese female rock stars, the project is called Sonic Lover Recless but they only have one song, there is also A Drop of Joker. And the other guitarist Midori was part of Gekijou Metalicche. In case of Asami the vocalist i dont have any info on her being in any band previously other than she had quest live appearences as female backing vocals for bands like VAMPS and Uverworld from which i recommend the first one as its one of the bands of the biggest japanese rockstar HYDE. and his songs will literally blow your mind away.
