The absolute best show I've seen in my entire life. After their ten year hiatus, this show was like a religious experience for me. When Cedric speaks to the crowd about hearing their songs on radio.... He was responding to me and what id said. This sorta small, but genuine interaction with him fucking warmed my heart! I'll never forget the atmosphere of this show, hats off to TMV fans, The Tabernacle, and Atlanta. 🤘❤️😎🙌
Hat's off to whomever edited this all together. You're the true goat in all this. Editing so many mixed sources together in such a concise manner?!?! Like what?!? I grew up on a lot of pirated downloads that never even approached this level of quality for live shit and to have these quality recordings into adulthood for my little Volta heart means so much to me. So thank you again and again!
he'll yah, was at this show and finally saw them after being a fan for 19 years or so. met eva gardner and sat next to johan the engineer in the balcony. was pretty dope
I'll say this time and time again with new tmv footage from these recent tours the years they took off seems to have helped cedric voice, I just think years of touring caught up with him around that bedlam and beyond period but these performances have been way better. I love that period but to me it seems like night and day
I think they've started tuning their instruments down a full step to accommodate Cedric's vocal range. It makes a world of difference and who can blame Cedric? Singing like that into your later years is borderline impossible without incredibly meticulous upkeep of your vocal cords.
Omar's become a lot more discerning with his guitar playing and note choice. See the Cygnus solo, he keeps trying to find somewhere to start but he's just shaking his head like "nah that sounds like shit". He used to just let his fingers fly a lot more often, but I like this more restrained approach too
It feels like he’s doing a lot more comping instead of what he was do before, which would be like trying to solo but not really thinking of a key (like in the John, Flea, Omar video) in later TMV years he because pretty good at soloing but this recent tour it felt like he was into that comping deal and playing a lot of the solo with his fingers.

Hats off to whoever put this many ads on here
Our channel isn't monetized. It's RUclips. It's 2023, who doesn't use some sort of ad blocker?

Oh shit, finally get to relive a show I was at
So sad that I had to miss this show due to family circumstances. I will see them in May though!
the girl who said “He made that mic stand his b*tch!” deserves a Pulitzer, or something like it
