The audio is not even great here but this still sounds like the best version of the Mars Volta to date. Props to anyone who gets to see this magic live.

Beyond magical. I truly never thought I’d see them live again. When Cedric’s first word hit the mic, I had tears welling up because of how excited and overwhelmed I was. Everything I wanted and more.
I’m hoping to go soon, I’m a very young fan of 1 year of listening to them and I can say I’ve never been more obsessed with a bands music as quickly as them.

What a setlist, I'm so jealous of everyone that got tickets to these shows. They even picked the best song from Noctourniquet. New rhythm section is absolutely slaying, although it hurts to not see Juan up there, I'm glad he's recovering.

I saw their show at the Warfield on the 19th. Barely knew any of their stuff. It was an incredible performance. None of these phone recordings can capture the combination of sound, light, audience, ambiance. I need to find a clean recording of 10/19, can anyone point me to one?

They truly have forgotten how to be The Mars Volta. All the energy is gone, Omar doesn’t seem to know how to play any of the songs anymore and Cedric doesn’t seem to want to be there. Their band resembles a high school band or a tribute band or something. Just awful and sad. They shouldn’t have “come back” if they were gonna murder their own music like this
