It is pretty OP, could have tons of little tweaks to bring it down a bit. Only triggers on your own turn, lands conjured are tapped, etc. but God forbid they tweak their precious alchemy cards
@@NStriplesevenIt's SUPPOSED to be that but let's face it WOTC and whoever is developing MTGA don't give a damn. They just want to make money and ruin the game with cards that don't exist
Iridescent Hornbeetle (At the beginning of your end step, create a 1/1 green Insect creature token for each +1/+1 counter you've put on creatures under your control this turn) would be pretty good here! 🤗
Great deck, as always; I love +1/+1 counter synergies. It was amusing seeing some players completely blank on Champion of Lambholt; I guess non-trample green evasion is rare enough that seeing her hit the table doesn't trigger the same sense of inevitable damage as, say, Tetsuko.
Wizards need to start to consider adding some combo editor into full control mode. For example: add a repeat the target for the input amount of times to make some of the combos easier and keep adding more features into that "combo editor" and polishing it. Main difference between arena and table top right now is that on table top people are looking forward for looping combo decks, because you can just say - "i repeat it 200 times and you're ded", where on arena you have to repeat the loop 200 times which is potentially over 1k clicks. This makes these decks almost impossible to play or opposite of fun
@zedek_ both, but it’s especially hated for its role in brawl. Just insane landfall triggers and if it’s the commander it pays for its next casting easily (like Roxanne) - just runs away with the game immediately
I'm pretty sure the first sliver deck was a monstrous vortex combo deck. Like most 1 trick decks super boring to sit through and terribly fragile to enchantment removal.
I'm not so sure. A deck like that would have no reason not to run Keruga. I think they must have been trying to hit something 1- or 2-mana. Though it's definitely possible that was just an oversight, I guess.
Anybody knows how does the interaction at 13:45 work? Why didn't the Tarmogoyf see the enchantment in the graveyard (much like when it sees the bolt that just resolved)? One could argue that when the ability resolves, states are updated and both damage and the saga sacrifice are applied. Instead, the Tarmo just dies and I don't understand why
A saga's sacrifice clause is also applied after state based effects are checked. After the 3rd chapter finished resolving, the game sees a 3/4 goyf with 4 damage on it, and a saga with 3 counters on it but no chapter ability on the stack. Both things happen simultaneously, so the goyf and the saga goes to the graveyard at the same time. It is for this same reason that, if I have a 1/2 goyf with only lands in the graveyard block an opposing 2/1 creature, both creatures will die, instead of the goyd living as a 2/3 with 2 damage on it. (Notably different from how death's shadow interacts with trample)
16:09 couln't you have saved your druid by putting on a +1 counter on it? EDIT: Case of RTFC on my part. you could only put a +1 counter on any creature BUT the druid.
@@LegenVDthat’s fair I suppose. I just find Vorinclex is a nice include not only for the potential of quadrupled counters with BE, but also in shutting down the mirror match!

All my brawl decks have the Legend's name in the thumbnail. I mention the format at the beginning of the video and it's also listed at the top of the description. There are playlists on my channel page for each format. If you follow me on Patreon or Aetherhub you will also see the format listed next to the title. Find it hilarious how Legend always makes sure to let us know how much he hates Mythweaver 😂

i hope theres a lot of +1/+1 counters
It sure would be disappointing if there was just a medium ammount of +1/+1-counters.
I'm not sure why you think there would ever be any +1 counters in this video.
Well lucky you! This video indeed features a few +1/+1 counters

Certainly an option!
LVD making a lot of plus one plus one counters provides plus one value
0:44 holy fancy editing. I love it
That Bolas game was insane. You slowly, inevitably smothered the Grixis player in value.
Thank you, i asked for a brawl +1+1 counter video!
You responded and delivered. Top tier creator

one and a half hours of Brawl gameplay? it must be christmas or something
30:55 the Mythweaver Poq hate train continues 😂 all aboard
I'm totally out of the loop since I haven't played MTGA in a while... why the hate for this card? Just a broken card, or because it's alchemy?

Petition to bring back written words (in addition to symbols) for the categories of the deck: Ramp, Creatures, etc.
A humble offering for the almighty algorithm.
FYI if you say algorithm the RUclips algorithm ignores the comment
@ Thanks for the heads up. Are you willing to share your source so I may learn more about helping creators by optimizing my engagement?
I'm so jealous that you're able to play with so many cards. I need to finish my degree so I can indulge
As always Brawl content is best content
I'd love some +1/+1 counters today. Wonder if this video has some...
Scurry Oak combo kill is crazy!!!!
Loving this deck. May I suggest glimpse the core and wolfwillow haven as 2 drop green ramp
Both solid options! Although don't see them being a strict upgrade over anything we're running.
I literally made a very similar brawl deck for midweek recently. It was so fun

REV UP THOSE COUNTERS!
Waiting for 5 brawl decks, one for each baby PW from the Origin set!
Here for the +1/+1 counters
Incubation druid was so much fun
No Vorinclex is very surprising.
Now that I think about it; lack of Doubling Season shocked me more.
Branching Evolution is the cheaper version in this deck. We’re not making a lot of tokens outside of the plants.

Can you makecSquee the immoral commander deck the one that can be cast from exile or graveyard one
Is there a paper playable commander you recommend as a substitute as planeswalkers arent allowed?
There are a lot of contenders in this deck, they will all need slightly different builds.
Who would win:
Goldvein hydra where X = 327
OR
One black beetle boi with protection from green.
Depends which one enters first!
@LegenVD excellent point xD
why are non-brawl deck videos so much shorter?
Brawl has more variety than other formats. It’s also more fun to play for me.
@LegenVD yeah, makes sense
I think you mislabeled the chapter against the mycotyrant. Mycosynth is definitely an mtg brain auto complete lol
No Kaldheim Vorinclex?
Seems like an auto include in this type of deck.
Trying to keep the curve low but it’s certainly an option.
I really think Mana Drain should get banned in Brawl.
Clicked to see a lot of +1/+1 counters on this one
