On principle, I hate seeing miirym win. But on the other hand, I love seeing Ben win. Plus, that repudiate was an amazing play. It was definitely the best part of the game. Way to go, Ben.
This was such a good episode that I thought about it all day long and am now coming back for a second watch. Love the content guys and galls. Keep up the good work.
@@rapchor6667of the episodes I saw it was in this match, but I don't remember it beeing another one. Plus it could also be, that the crew played another match before, where Shae went to town with mister bill and that got remembered.... There are possibilities for such targeting beyond teaming up preferences.... But I really waited for a rock to hit the monkey too 😅
'Flight of Dragons' love that movie from my childhood! Thank you CGB for hitting the notes and bringing back some great memories. Excellant episode! 🤘❤️🤘
Even if accidental (as idk how far in advance they film) This was coincidentally a flavor win considering this weekend Local Game Stores hosted CLB draft for the Battle for Baldur's Gate - 50th Anniversary edition for D&D.
Very nice game! One point though: The copies wouldn't etb at the same time as the dragon. So first the original triggering 5 damage and then after the two tokens each for 7
I see Miirym, I click. I have a Miirym deck myself, but I don’t get to play it often. And understandably, if I untap with him I almost always win. And he has Ward 2 for some reason? lol good game. Also, repudiate might find its way into the deck.
Pretty sure you can't cast the offer you can't refuse to counter anything. Doesn't Etali put a trigger on the stack to cast teach spell, so each one fully resolved before the next cast happens.
I am beyond tired of every game I see with bristly bill, the entire deck is a straight magnet for removal. Like man, I wanna see Billy Bob Joe pop off!!!
Between cgb playing roxanne on his stream or gina playing it now, I might have to make a deck with her. She didn’t appeal to me at first but sometimes it just takes seeing someone play a commander to inspire me to make a deck
Roxanne is just Golos. Enters and refunds commander tax if you make your next land drop, if it sticks around it generates insane value in just one turn, and can win the game entirely on its own. Idk what WotC was thinking...
Golos was particularly bad in ways Roxanne isn't because (1) it enabled five-color play with a completely non-restrictive cost, (2) it fixed your mana, and most importantly (3) it also gave you the cards to play once you've ramped. Golos is basically the full package, which Roxanne is not. I understand the comparison and Roxanne indeed seems very pushed, but it's hard to reach Golos levels of pushed.
It’s an oppressive card. Especially if your deck has mostly small bodies. When panharmonicon comes out she’s getting 4 mana rocks per turn more than enough to burn through all your creatures AND their ward abilities with mana to spare.
One of these things is not like the other. Roxanne can be extremely oppressive too if like my opponents you always open Panharmonicon meaning you get 4 Rocks per attack
Man, I'm always hoping for Ben's tribal decks to have creatures, because he always has a nice setup for them Only sad thing is to think that he would have the worst possible, if not for the meddling monkey
Three OTJ commanders and a random Miirym? Did Ben miss a memo. There are plenty of cool legends in OTJ he could have pulled up. I've had lots of fun with the new Ghired, Marchesa and Magda.
Nobody going to point out the obvious; that Gina chose not to nuke from orbit CGB's OBVIOUS more-powerful targets, in Sanctum Weaver and Loot? CGB is so addicted to winning, he resorts to having his wife team up with him and play 2 on 1 on 1 for 2/3rds of the game. Pretty sad look, especially when he's the one controlling the mic/channel. *shaking head*
JUDGE! Exploration doesn't let you play 2 lands from top of deck with the Reality Chip. You can play one from hand and one from top of deck, or two from hand. It is the same with Future Sight. If it had some weird clause that you are playing the card as though it were in your hand, it might work.
That doesn't make sense. Exploration says you get to play an additional land and reality chip ruling says you can only play a land if you have enough lands for turn remaining, which the exploration gave an extra one
@@giacomand Exploration modifies the number of lands you can play FROM HAND. If you have something like Oracle of Mul Daya, then it works. It would also be the same with Bolas' Citadel. Ben ushering in the “Repudiate” meta 🤣
On principle, I hate seeing miirym win. But on the other hand, I love seeing Ben win. Plus, that repudiate was an amazing play. It was definitely the best part of the game. Way to go, Ben.
Letting Miirym untap with parallel lives and haste is absolutely crazy lol
"Well, that time is up!" got me so hard, nice work Ben!
I love watching the CGB Crew play commander, is like my TV news at lunch on Sundays. Keep it up guys!
40:00 that’s the most value that card ever got, saving bens life.
The Repudiate out of nowhere! I really though CGB had Ben there with the blockers cleared.
That was a solid intro, fun game and Blake's blangalangalangalangalang was the cherry on top... good stuff ty for the episode
“Today I’m going to be a real Prick…” best start to a show ever! Go Team Shea
As the builder of a Myriim clones-only deck, I saw Ben's pop-off immediately after his setup turn. Any single dragon tripled is no joke >.>
Miirym clones is by far my favorite deck. Just does so many fun things imo and even has a fun strategy if Miirym itself isn't really working.
Ben countering the transformation was an absolute blast to watch, haha
That was a fun as hell game. Ben casting that one spell made me laugh way too much.
Ben: and the time is up.
I laugh so hard! Awesome win Ben!
Shea's intro was so damn good hahaha.
I simply adore Gina’s personality. CGB you done good!
This was such a good episode that I thought about it all day long and am now coming back for a second watch. Love the content guys and galls. Keep up the good work.
Whoever wrote Gina's intro won the match before the game started
Why she allways picks on Shea and haggels withs CGB - why not call it Teamplay instead of Commander!

The intros in particular are fantastic!
Sunday's are the best with commander content from the crew. LG Ben!!!!
'Flight of Dragons' love that movie from my childhood! Thank you CGB for hitting the notes and bringing back some great memories. Excellant episode! 🤘❤️🤘
And Blake has to thank Gina for being there in his place. He would not have survived seeing Ben draw so many cards.
Shea carried that intro so hard. Hillarious.
16:50 me when I see a new worst commander show episode

I like the debate over whether meteors are affected by weather, meteorologically speaking.
"Well that time is up." Hahah such a snarky way to say game over :)
I really love the dramatic recap! I love to do these for my games
So excited to see Roxanne. Definitely the favorite deck that I’ve built in a long time. It’s so much fun to play.
CGB you got me with that deepcut reference to “Flight of Dragons” singing the song 😂 love that movie

CGB with the Flight of Dragons song. Top notch reference!
I've built a Bristly Bill Deck, won the first game I played with it. It's also my first mono colored deck.
Where do you get wall art pieces like the resplendent angel in the background is it official merch or should I be looking on Etsy

Ben was one Ragavan hit away from getting my favorite Miirym combo, with the Temur Ascendancy even.
Great game, you guys are awesome (: Will you be at Magiccon Amsterdam by any chance?
I have a copy of Repudiate in my Ivy deck because if she's mutated into a non-legendary, the Replicate side is pretty nuts
Man, you gotta love the gatcha from cards, you just don't expect.
I have a Roxxane Burn deck, I'm excited, cause Roxxane is the most fun Commander I've built in a long time
Thanks, all! :) Slight spelling error in your title - "Roxanne". :) (In case people search for it!)
Gina is too funny! 😂
Gina's an absolute riot.
"So you've seen the weather report"

I finally decided to watch a worse possible commander show because this one was special.
Where was the card of the game segment?
The video was great, but the ending segment was sorely missed

Meteorites have been replaced to appease the algorithm. Praise the algorithm, for it holds the power to repel the power of SPACE ITSELF!
