I love how Dylan, turn 1, said "Christian, I think you're running the best deck, so attack you." and then proceeded to win exactly by stealing Stella. This game felt like you two saw her as the favorite to win... and you were technically right lol.

Bro, felt. Found $74 in a jacket pocket i had and was hyped as shit. Then got 2 commander decks and then got two friends into magic. Not cEDH level but hey, it’s additional bros to play some cards with.
molten duplication also causes the copies to sacrifice at end of turn, so even post combat you would have won with rakdos triggers. good game!
Isn't there mana value zero?

Rakdos can only sac one thing a turn. Nice thought though.
@Funder1NK that doesn't matter, Molten Duplication sacrifices the tokens and triggers Rakdos's first ability a billion times to exile everyone else's library
I think this is the first time I've ever seen Mind Slicer in a cEDH game (probably not but I can't remember another video that I've watched where it showed up) and it was an obscene way for Dylan to minimize the other players' chances of winning or stopping him on his next turn.
“Little sloppy but we got there, that’s the Rakdos way.” Truer words have never been spoken; this is exactly how I feel when I play Prosper or Ob Nix.
I just loaded it up but if no one says "hold on there partner" instead of "in response" I'm going to be disappointed.
I really want to compliment your editing game. I look forward to these videos each week because of the clean, engaging, interesting storytelling style you use. Really cool stuff, keep up the good work.
Man, Stella and Rakdos seem pretty good, excited to see them compare against ObNix, KrarkShima, and the rest of their Izzet/Rakdos competition. Love seeing low-color commanders with wild abilities and synergies get a chance to shine.

I’ve never seen a commander game like this before because everything has been super casual. Watching this especially at the speed it was played was mind blowing. Absolutely loved it
That Rakdos jawn went crazy. Your channel is the only one I can watch that has more of an open dialogue during game play vs straight narration which is what I typically rock. You guys do it right. Every other channel I've watched feels forced, cringe, and extremely wack. I appreciate the solid content.
Yes you did do that Ragavan trigger correctly. The beginning of the end step already happened. The trigger is delayed till your next end step. That ruling fucks me over all the time haha.
This was probably one of the more exciting cEDH games from a new set I've seen in long time. Great job with the decks Cam!

Yeah, that one was fast and loose, just like the the Ol' West, bust just as enjoyable to watch, see previous. Hope to see more of these new commanders and Thunder Junction cards in general in the future, I feel like there's a lot of brewing space opened by Crimes and Plots.

As a complete noob to CEDH, how many win cons does a stereotypical deck run? I'm trying to build my first deck, but am not sure if I idealized the number of win cons or not.

Surprised noone used laughing Jaspar Flint. He is what the Olivia Commander should have been with how he actually makes use of outlaws on the field to steal cards from opponents also turning them into more outlaws
I really was hoping one of them would be playing the new Geralf, mono blue zombies and multiple spells per turn is so cool

Hi I looove your vids and I'd like to get into cEDH myself. Unfortunatly I have no clue to how the best way to compete. We have a LGS here in Munich Germany where we can play EDH on a regular basis but paper cEDH tournaments are not rly a thing here. Is it better to start off in MTGO events (guess I would have to buy all those cards there as well) or how do you guys started?

I still think the way to play stella is run a 1 mana haste enabler then cast one of the combo pieces. You need 5 mana total and you win that turn.

Part of why i really like watching your channel, you explain any mess ups and while the exiling three cards does sour the game as it could make all the difference for winning it was only once, you explained how it was supposed to work, and it definitely would had been a sour taste if Cam did win but if he had would had made it that much less sour. Thank you for the explanations and good gaming!

At 4:50, Loot says "where X is the number of card types among other nonland permanents you control" so shouldn't it be one?
Also, with Rakdos on the battlefield, you can win with dual caster + molten duplication postcombat. The tokens will sacrifice themselves and Rakdos will functionally mill your opponents out.
Cam has an enchantment on one of his lands and treasure tokens, so two is the correct amount

Dylan, I'm wondering why you sacrificed Mind Slicer in upkeep instead of draw step, post-draw. I would assume getting rid of the one extra card would be the default play, but were you worried that Christian had the win in hand already after the Gamble the prior turn, and one extra card would give extra protection?
It’s hard waiting a whole week for a cedh vid, I basically have to not watch for a month to save up😢
I think Stella Lee is going to be the Wildcard.
Loot says other nonland permanents, that means, first trigger must reveal only 2 cards
long story short having stella lee in play makes everyone’s winrates go up
I think loot will be a great casual commander but pretty bad cedh

Can someone explain how stella wins with Cerulean wisps alone? I understand the infinite draw what I dont understand is how it wins by decking without another card to play. Thassa's oracle would need to be cast no? Like if all he has is 1 blue and stella activation and wisps that just decks him and he loses? Or si there something im missing?
You don't have to keep copying. You don't have to deck yourself. Just draw as much of your deck as you like and stop whenever. If the list can't win with deck in hand...well...not a good deck lol
@@raedien I see so you'd want like free rocks or something that let you play the finisher or I guess wait until you have the excess mana to spend after drawing the deck

Happy to see Rakdos claim the win. I actually run the exact same win strategies that the list has in the Laughing Jasper Flint deck I put together, except I also have Pitiless Plunderer and Altar of Dementia as alternate combo pieces with Forsaken Miner since Jasper likes having Plunderer as an extra outlaw.
I'm super happy to see a UR deck that isn't Niv Mizzet or Krark/Sakashima. And one that can super easily assemble a win with just its commander. Great game, super cool decks.
This is becoming my favorite show on the internet! It’s definitely what’s pushed me into being better at CEDH and my way of seeing all commander play!! Keep up the great work!
