Kinda surprised there aren't more board wipes, I feel there's a bit too much ramp on the low end and it makes it harder to last against the other midrangey value/go wide decks
Go-wide decks are the main issue for this build. Planeswalkers are normally quite good in midrange battles. The issue with adding boardwipes is that we can't run any mana elves and then we're a step behind vs other midrange and control decks. The aggro matchups will certainly suffer without them. This list definitely isn't trying to maximize winrate, but rather tries to increase the odds of seeing Planeswalker ultimates.
You will outvalue a lot of players that are playing slower more controlling builds with a deck like this. The aggro decks are the hardest matchups by far, and a few sweepers doesn't change that, combo can also be troubling depending on what you draw.
As a player of this kind of Atraxa decks, i also recommand Ichormoon Gauntlet (incredibly powerfull) and contagion dispenser since WOTC thought that was a good idea to put alchemy cards in brawl, i also like the Sorin creature-PW in combo with Ancient Cornucopia since i often need a bit more lifegain to sustain the fact that atraxa never survives and sorin offers a great blast 4 per turn and eventually you can steal a commander for free. I really like your list i my borrow it to try actually.
Just because WOTC decided to put Alchemy cards in Brawl, doesn't mean you have to put Alchemy cards in your deck. I can't remember the last time LVD put an Alchemy card in a Brawl deck but it's been a while. I don't run a single Alchemy card in any of my Brawl decks.
Sadly the five color Commanders have no synergy with the superfriends archetype. Already struggled to cut Planeswalkers within 4 colors, so adding red would only make it worse.
The oath enchantments always annoyed me. Why are Chandra and Nissa's the only one that's aren't 3 mana? Why does Lilliana's suck so much? Why are they so inconsistent in their power level? Why are some on end step, others etb and some upkeep? Just feels like a cycle without a unifying identity other than "has the word planeswalker in the text". Superfriends is my favourite archetype and it always saddened me that the few cycles that support them are incomplete, unsynergistic or weak in theme.
Man. I just felt a chunk of my soul die from seeing that Slimefoot and Squee game. I have no idea how you managed to remain so composed. I would probably have uninstalled right then and there - the game rubbing salt in the wound by giving you the fetchland *right* after it became useless felt like a middle finger from the universe itself
Just hoping to see a Kyodai 5 colour superfriends brew one day from LVD. It's also much better in terms of matchmaking and is more flexible in planeswalker effects you can get. P.S. Maybe a "Search for Glory" to fetch Eternal Wanderer as basically your only boardwipe could make this build better vs those creature strategies that come up quite often, just a thought. Or any other planeswalker for other purposes.
Why not add the 5 cost Kaya with the ultimate that lets you bring back creatures and planeswalkers from either the graveyard or exile? Would think she is a must add to any superfrirends deck.
Hey Legend, would be cool if you made some videos on upgraded version of basic decks everytime they chagned or we got a new edition. I just came back to the game and I felt a lack of this type of content on the internet and being a long time follower from your channel I feel like this kind of content would fit your knowledge and type of content very well. :)
I've done them on a few occasions, but the target audience for those videos keeps shrinking. Back when everyone had to start from scratch without a prior collection those videos made more sense. Most people are better off crafting meta decks rather than wasting wildcards on upgrading a deck that's not very good to begin with.
Assuming you're talking about Ugin, the Ineffable we have very few artifacts to synergise with him, so didn't seem all that needed. Ugin, the Spirit Dragon is banned in Brawl.
Can't help but notice the decks you have issues against are the ones that fold to a sweeper, and I'm sad that your decision to run only 1 is an anomaly in the format since I'm green to the core.

34:05 - I count 30 mana value of permanents in play on turn 4. That's pretty good value.

Elderspell and ichor moon gauntlet are going into my build but I'll keep the mana values of planeswalkers lower.

Was literally the final card I cut from the deck, since we already had a different Kaya but no Ashiok.

I did, but it’s incredibly slow to activate compared to something like Oath of Teferi. The decks is clunky enough as is.
