Can I just say, the quality of your videos is top tier. How you explain all of your thought processes including what your opponent might do. How you name every card and showcase cards we can't see on the side of the screen instead of saying "let's play this". Your unique builds, especially in standard have inspired many of my own decks. Keep up the great work man!
For what it's worth, if you had played Ulamog at 14:55, the Vito play meant that the Kaya player could just ult Kaya on himself, deal 50+ damage and gain that much life, killing you in one hit. Not sure if they noticed, but that Unstable Obelisk was a life saver!
Your content is always top quality, but this video is certainly one of the best. Awesome deck, great set of games, and over an hour of fantastic Magic. Enthusiastic commentary, funny, informative, and intelligent gameplay. Truly an example of why you are a master of your craft. Thank you.
Luca you keep on spoiling us! This deck is disgusting! Appreciate all you do man, from your in depth deck dives to you play by play analysis, you really are the best! Hope you're taking care of yourself too!
at 47:27 I think you may have actually been dead on the crackback without the one ring, opponent can just sacrifice all their lands and attack with their remaining fliers. So it was important that you were able to cast it!
13:43 That should’ve been a game losing attack. As you said, “they can do a lot of damage to themselves with the minus 5” They can ultimate Kaya on themselves to gain and lose 40 ish life then minus Sorin and kill you instantly
Faced a ulamog deck the other day with your Kaya Lifegain deck, they put Ulamog into play and I exiled it with big Kaya, making a flying ulamog with 10 counters lol
Unless I'm missing something, your opponent at 47:40 missed lethal. They can sac their lands and powerstones for a total of 11, then a 2/2 for 12 then have lethal on the crackback.
The one ring protects him from the crackback. And if he didn't play the one ring, LVD would have lethal when attacking with Palladium Myr, too (but he used its mana to the one ring)
1:12:00 the opponent messed up twice majorly...err...thrice. 1: attacked with their commander (as a bluff maybe for a free attack?) 2: tapped your destiny-dude when they should have known that they'd need that ready for your ulamog. 3: blocked with the flea (presumably missed that ulamog had firststrike and trample--still tho....the dots are there for a reason).
Additionally, if they had cheated zopandrel into play with eladamri, sanctum weaver, and fanatic then it could have doubled the power and toughness of their creatures for lethal.
Love the video, love the eldrazi! Im not sure if im keeping my favorite deck with tons of mythics and rares, but when i play against a helga player, its always turn 1 mana dork into turn 2 helga, into a strong follow up, i feel like im behind even when i have a single removal. Maybe just bad luck? :D
After all this time I have never - in real life or in arena (youtube included) - seen annihilator go off. Not even just annihilator 1. People scoop the second it happens or they murder everything on sight.
I've seen videos of Cardmarket where they played it out. I think in one of them even got out on top still winning it. Tbf it was some modern "how good are the best modern decks" kinda tourny thing where the decks played would kill you in just 2-3 turns.
Just yesterday I was thinking of looking an Eldrazi brawl deck. This is awesome! Thank you so much! Would it be possible to substitute for Ulamog ceaseless hunger and still work?
@@LegenVD I first started using artifacts because of your “Egg-cellent” video a couple of years ago for historic, still pretty fun to play with! Thinking of maybe include some ramp from there like Cloud Key and Semblance anvil.
That mono green player could easily have won the game if they knew how to use Eladamari properly. Use his ability pre combat to put in Zapondreil on the last turn and it was an easy win for them.
Some really interesting games in this video. I don't think you see an Ulamog deck winning through mill all that often. Also that incredible Notion Thief (somehow not winning the game). And I don't think I've ever seen anyone fumble the bag harder than that Kona player. Also that classic "oh yes" in the end.
The Annihilator trigger with Roaming Throne in play is a lot of fun. I basically had Annihilator 14 in one game leaving the opponent with no permanents when they lost.
this video is basically "Draw bridge the MVC" lol. Are there any other colorless haste enablers? Although sundering titan was definitely also amazing lordy. Overall awesoke video though regardless, always love the big bad eldrazi!
I really wish you've ulted the kaya at the end of the first game since I'm really curious about if that would kill them or not, then you could draw the card as usual. If someone knows the interaction please feel free to reply with effect. But I guess the ability resolves in its entirety and then SBAs are checked so yeah LVD was right, I guess, and nothing would change?
I enjoy your content. And I'll still watch this video to give you the views you need. But man I hate the big dumb Eldrazi trend that nobody asked for. Just exiling half my library because you even cast the spell is so backbreaking when I'm just trying to have fun. Not your fault and not at all your problem. Just venting a little. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
Game 8 vs. Kona, LVD says: "needed all the luck on our side". What I understand: Polite way to comment opponents missplays after their scoop of shame 😅
30:53 Didn't the opponent have an out left by keeping sheoldred and a land, then playing another land, destroying Ulamog an sacrificing both lands? If you hadn't drawn anything impactful (like mana sources), they could relatively quickly close out the game with attacks and damage from draws... 45:10 Why not just play Ulamog and attack with it? Annihilator could have killed most of their board...
30:45 was that LVD's Kosalek? How did it end up in the opponent's exile? Or what is the connection here between 10 CMC Koselek and the 10 +1/+1 on Ulamog?
No Urza'a Construction Drone? Is my go-to in my Ugin deck to get guaranteed lands and ultimately after living through just one attack (then happy to attack and die next turn for the final two lands) you get 3 lands that produce a LOT of mana!
This video has convinced me that either-- 1. Arena is setting up matches that completely dismantle your decks 90% of the time. Or 2. We are playing "Bot Decks" that are tailor-made to give your deck a challenge regardless. 51:25 Mr. President, there's been a second Ulamog
This joke again?
2001 called...
A SECOND PLANE HIT THE WORLD TRADE CENTER
Yes lets go hour plus video
LVD annihilating over an hour of my work day ❤️
Always love it when I see that ❤
For what it's worth, if you had played Ulamog at 14:55, the Vito play meant that the Kaya player could just ult Kaya on himself, deal 50+ damage and gain that much life, killing you in one hit. Not sure if they noticed, but that Unstable Obelisk was a life saver!
They could of also done this way earlier with the Sorrin
Props to opponent with the incredible Notion Thief 27:17
That same opponent using Baleful mastery to exile also caused them to lose :S that exile was relevant for ulamog.
@@yurisims1798 I mean there's a good chance they would still have lost even if Ulamog had like 6-7 counters

The 5 color deck insta-scooping to the Sundering Titan made me laugh out loud
"oh yes"
Like Sir Richard Garfield intended
Me and the boys getting ready to jump into some games and see how the deck does
It brings me great joy to see my favorite youtuber playing my favorite archetype: big creature go boom boom
ULAMOG on this fine Monday? You're spoiling us y'know. Love to see it
that kona player did everything in their power to lose
they were almost as smart as a standard mono red player
I always hope to show up in one of these videos, but fear that these are the kinds of comments I would get...
As usual a great deck and piloting. Nothing like seeing a good Exodia doing some nice annihilating 🧐
It's Egyptian gods
Been waiting for Eldrazi deck! Ty so much
Love to see a Xanathar deck scoop. Especially to a big creature.
Even more so when they have a rusko on the field.
An hour long LVD video?! What have I done to deserve such an honor?! You’re killing it man keep up the great work
Eldrazi mill game one was marvelous. This is what I always wish ulamog would do.
Luca you keep on spoiling us! This deck is disgusting! Appreciate all you do man, from your in depth deck dives to you play by play analysis, you really are the best! Hope you're taking care of yourself too!
Awesome, one hour of pure delight!!!
A work of art. Very fun games too!
Second last opponent managed to make every decision wrong pretty much😂
at 47:27 I think you may have actually been dead on the crackback without the one ring, opponent can just sacrifice all their lands and attack with their remaining fliers. So it was important that you were able to cast it!

ULAMOG ANNHILATE!
I love brawl vídeos and this first one game was awesome

ELDRAAZIIII!!
1:05 I love this!!
30:50 Ulamog, Annihilate! If this were YuGiOh, you'd be slamming down your hand yelling the same thing for Exodia!
I was wondering if that was an intentional reference 😄
Nice deck )))❤❤❤
game 1 is why we play eldrazi
Cosmic horror provides a lot of value
Love the video, love the eldrazi!

I feel validated watching you go out of your way to sidestep alchemy trash lol
Just yesterday I was thinking of looking an Eldrazi brawl deck. This is awesome! Thank you so much! Would it be possible to substitute for Ulamog ceaseless hunger and still work?
Indeed, I talk about it at the end of the video! The haste enablers would be less important at that point, so those could become something else.

Kona opp made some... decisions
The second to last match was a little painful to watch. Many mistakes from the opponent
Colorless Eldrazi Mill Meta
Poor Nahiri guy got violated by Ulamogs. Plural
Somehow, Ulamog came back.

Yeah nothing would happen, unless there's another card in play that can take advantage of all the lifegain.
Was the Kozilek in the bottom right at 30:45 a yugioh reference?

30:50 Is that a Yugi Moto reference?
As one of magics biggest artifags I approve this video and am already downloading the deck
😂😂😂
Why didn’t LVD get to draw a card from baleful mastery around 27:40? The student cost was paid rather than 4 mana.
Notion Thief
Ah, yes, my favorite deck, *mana rock simulator.*
(Jokes aside, it's a cool deck, I might be stealing it soon.)
This looks easily the most expensive deck I've ever seen
Most 5-color decks will top this with their manabase alone.
I noticed you went first? Ive been playing since beta and I only go second. Weird.
I thought Sundering Titan would count wastes as a basic land type
It’s a basic land but it has no type
They watered down Emrakul it brings me to tears.
Can you please make some more timeless videos!?!?

Yeah, daily quests discriminate against colorless decks.
I love your decks. the small is that i need 15+ wild cards for rares and mythics every 5 days just to play them ahah
Notification squad. Nothing like spaghetti in the morning.
55:20 happy it's not Brazen Burrower animation 😂
All I need is a spare 100 rare wildecards
30:45 was that LVD's Kosalek? How did it end up in the opponent's exile? Or what is the connection here between 10 CMC Koselek and the 10 +1/+1 on Ulamog?
They exiled our Kozilek earlier that game, which also counts as a card in exile to give Ulamog those +1/+1 counters.
No Urza'a Construction Drone? Is my go-to in my Ugin deck to get guaranteed lands and ultimately after living through just one attack (then happy to attack and die next turn for the final two lands) you get 3 lands that produce a LOT of mana!
I generally avoid Alchemy cards.
Alchemy bad
All is dust isn't on Arena ist it? I'd never know how to navigate problematic boards with a colorless deck.
It isn't or else It would certainly make the deck!
Wonder if they'll ever add Sol Ring to Arena (just for Brawl). Would it be too powerful?
Thank you for this comment. I was wondering why he didn't have it in his deck. Didn't know it wasn't available at all.
This video has convinced me that either--
1. Arena is setting up matches that completely dismantle your decks 90% of the time.
