A few people are concerned about the oil filter. I should've shown it on screen, but I didn't. Mostly because there wasn't anything to see. There was more particulate in the screens than the filter. That's my had. I made a short taking a look at it: ruclips.net/user/shortsRKLPWGgsSqQ
Next time I do something like this I'll show you a close up.

I dont understand what was your idea that you will destroy a new motorcycle in less than 600 mile... I do that amount of travel in a week, it would be ridiculous if it would just die and I had to buy new bike every each week. So no, this proves nothing this is as little usage as nothing. Like come on after the first brake in oil change the avg oil change period is 3-4k mile, it would be sad if the bike couldnt withstand it bruh. Tho Im interested that how much reliable is cfmoto. If it can withstand minimum 50k miles than its good in a bike withouth mayor issues, my bike has 40k mile and most of the parts original only replaced the worn-out things like chain, oil, filters, brake pads, tyre

Its down right stupid to say CFMoto cant be any good because its made in China, so is your iPhone and countless other Phones. I would be more concerned about quality if it was made in India as KTM smaller dukes are. You are getting a whole lot of motorcycle for a far less of a price, get over this whole Chinesium mindset, competition is good for consumers, may be it will kick Japanese Manufacturers in the a$$ so they can up their game a bit. Tft display looks like an ipad mini while the ones you have is just a 5" tft, if i'm correct? also, the handle bars also looks different, as the ones here has a scooter type of handle bars to accomodate that huge tft display. Same price point, it's about $8,500 here as well.

The oil spill was probably from using too big of a funnel. It happened to me with my 790 Duke and once i bought a smaller funnel so air could escape out of the fill hole, i could fill it no problem. You will always have to fill twice however. I fill it till the sight glass is all the way to the top, turn on the engine for a few seconds, then fill to middle of the glass. I change the oil every 5k and it's at 40k now. The bike has a neat way to remind you to change the oil though. The quickshifter starts to feels 'gritty' telling you its time to change.

I rip my 450ss and it takes it like a champ. CFmoto isn’t these Amazon Chinese bikes. They are coming for the US market and producing very nice bikes. They aren’t stupid, they know Americans are going to question the reliability so it wouldn’t surprise me if they had very strict standards at the factory. I’m not saying there’s not going to be things that slip through the cracks but I’ve had Japanese, German and British bikes have questionable things on them and when I took my CFmoto 450 apart to add a quick shifter everything was marked, neat, and clean looking. I was very impressed and I will be buying more of there bikes and I’m currently excited for there ibex 450🤙🏼

Of those 12 bikes in the coarse of a year of ownership, we have experienced 1 complete wire harness malfunction, 1 display failure, 1 thermostat failure, a couple leaks/gasket failure's, and almost every battery has failed. Despite the above, I still think they are pretty good bikes and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. There is nothing wrong with Chinese bikes, all bikes break in pretty even measures -especially as there are many shared parts now. What the biggest issue has been is the less than scrupulous selection of distributors - resulting in terrible parts availability. This eans workshops refusing to work on them as an easy fix can take a 12 month wait for a part ( I did it for giggles and it was about 15....). This spawns the unreliability myth as fixing a simple failure can be an absolute mission. I hasten to add my comments are post 2019/20 as that is the year when quality was notably improving across the board. In the UK at least, your brand choice can really ruin your day.
