Sonic 3 A.I.R - Tails in The Doomsday Zone (Save File DL)

Using save file manipulation, I was able to unlock the available stage list for Tails and Knuckles to the full set of zones, allowing for me to bring Tails and Knuckles into the Doomsday Zone. This also allows Knuckles to access Death Egg Zone. The 100% save file is below:

Simply drop it into your %appdata%/Sonic3AIR directory, and your save file will be replaced with a full set of saves, including the two fully unlocked Tails and Knuckles files!

@@Nitro2275 in sonic adventure he worked up the courage to stop eggman from blowing up an entire city, and fought a massive destruction robot all by himself. and in sonic adventure 2 despite sonic dying (they didnt know he survived at the time) he still fought eggman. not to mention going up into the atmosphere where he would struggle a ton with breathing in sonic 2 just to save sonic from falling to his death. if he can do all that he can fight the true final boss too.

Sonic 3 A.I.R stores save files in a very simple format; 8 groups of 10 bytes, which contains information such as the last stage you are able to access, the character you're playing, Chaos/Super emerald information, etc. I just modified it with a hex editor to unlock the last stages. I can make the file available for download if you would like :3
