The fact that the fans made enough levels for a Sonic Mania 2 already. I really hope Sega makes something where all these fan games and levels can be in one space

That Sonic adventure remake was the most interesting considering it had to try and transfer it to a 3D space

All three remakes are great. But I think more could've been done with the Sonic Mania remake: add elements of the Bridge Zone and Sky High Zone from Sonic 1 and Sonic 2 on MS/GG, by adding collapsing bridges and even hang gliders that Sonic could use to fly to discover higher parts of the level.
you have seen any mania mods adding more features than the ones that were in the original game? no right? then why you complain changing bosses from zones was already a big feat in the 2019 when that mod was done
pd:(i heard that there's a mod with different bosses but that mod was done way after the misfits pack)
@@StarFried I've seen mods of hill top zone that are good, but I've got ideas (stated above) for a potential remastered Hill Top Zone that could be even more awesome.
im late but, the mania remake had at least the angel island cloud bounce gimick so its something

If you havent,check the misfits pack. Zones like Aquatic Ruin and Labyrinth also have potential to be in sonic mania
Props for whoever took the time to translate the stage to Adventure, it suprised me that the level made sense considering that they are using a 2D stage as reference, it doesnt feel empty like other proyects.
Man... Kinda sad that we haven't heard like.... _anything_ about Sonic 2 HD in over a year

The fact that there was also a unique boss that wouldn't be in red mountain normally for sonic adventure is so cool
Here's a random fact from me. I've never seen any Sonic 2 level past casino night zone so I thought casino night was the final zone in the entire game.
The adventure one is seriously cool
And obviously the sonic 2 HD hilltop is gorgeous
I love the Mania one. It really fits well with music.
In Sonic mania, they could put this right before Lava reef zone.

Hilltop Zone is my favorite. I love the music. Very under-rated zone.
Holy shit, the adventure part was a blast from the past for me, and this video shows the potential the adventure format had! With enough love, it feels right in with the rest of the games and I'm here for it!
In my opinion nothing is going to beat the simple classicist feel good vibe that Sonic 2 provided. Nothing can top it’s pure delicate beauty !!

I know fans are sick of old level themes, but if there's a couple of old level themes I'd like to show up again, it's Hill Top and Spring Yard.
I'm all for level themes returning as long as it isn't Green Hill, Chemical Plant and Sky Sanctuary.

My favourite part about Hilltop Zone is that it has this lowkey active volcano/lava world feel to it while still being bright and grassy and having lots of verticality...
That being said though... The catapults and elevators are sort of not great gameplay mechanics in Sonic 2, so it isn't what I would call a very enjoyable level. Also, like 2 of the crushing ceiling/floor rooms felt really jank.

I find it interesting that all three remixes decided to use a saxophone for the…instrument that sounded like a fly buzzing in your ear. I’m not complaining, these remixes sound great.

Never occurred to me until now that Red Mountain basically IS Hill Town Zone with a volcano skin.
Someone needs to remake Mystic Cave because I really liked that zone a lot in Sonic 2.

How did you find one in sonic adventure? As far as I'm aware the closest to it would be the stage called "red mountain" where did you find that & what version are you playing?
After you downloaded the mod, you can play it in Red Mountain. The version I play is the Steam Version of Sonic Adventure DX.

im pretty sure tee made a remix of htz before s2hd, but i have no idea of who did the 2nd act
The Sonic 2 HD version is perfect except the framerate is too low.
In the actual game the framerate is at 60fps, but it was my recorder's fault lagging on the game.
