Sonic 3 A.I.R - Knuckles in The Doomsday Zone (Save File DL)

- Using save file manipulation, I was able to unlock the available stage list for Tails and Knuckles to the full set of zones, allowing for me to bring Tails and Knuckles into the Doomsday Zone. This also allows Knuckles to access Death Egg Zone. The 100% save file is below:

Simply drop it into your %appdata%/Sonic3AIR directory, and your save file will be replaced with a full set of saves, including the two fully unlocked Tails and Knuckles files!

The reason why Knuckles runs in doomsday is that everyone else runs in doomsday. Super Sonic is the only super with alternate sprites to his original counterpart, and his top speed animation fit for a scenario where he would be chasing after someone in the air, so they just reused the running animation for Doomsday. However, Tails’ top speed animation looks much less goofy than Knuckles’ because Tails’ top speed could feasibly allow him to fly. Knuckles’ top speed is just him running. Also, in the ending the player Knuckles is holding a master emerald of his own, probably because the game calls for the “background” character sprite, and since Knux’ background sprite has him holding the master emerald, there are now two master emeralds.

2. Set Knuckles as Player
3. Go to 'Death Egg Zone Act 1' . (Death Egg Zone Act 1 = The Doomsday Zone)

This is how the game runs, as it was never really intended to have Tails or Knuckles here. Hyper Sonic's state in this zone is his running animation, and for Tails, it fits surprisingly well. Knuckles, on the other hand...

In the game he doesn’t have a flying animation so his sprite appears as glitched. I’m not sure if he’s using his own animation or sonics, but I would believe he uses sonic animation in this level

Why isn’t knuckles in his glide animation?
Normally only Sonic can go to Doomsday Zone and it defaults to the player's running animation.
Super/Hyper Sonic's running animation is a forward flight/glide.
Tails' running animation kind of fits because he spins his tails around.
Knuckles...well...all his forms' default running animation is just running.
Why not have his flying animation instead of running

I know this is a Game Genie program you have to access the code, too--but it's like even the game is furious that this is happening.
Come on... Knuckles is running in space, not his trademark gliding. And when Knuckles has saved the day, Sonic is on the plane... being piloted by God knows what. That's Sonic? And the plane changes colors? And the dolphins and birds are completely taken apart like a puzzle.

Because you can not go to doomsday zone with knuckles (legally) so they just use running animation
Knuckles is not programmed to be able to enter the Doomsday zone, and super/hyper sonic's top speed animation is them flying, while knuckle's is just him running
