Actually looks very cool. Been a fan of Ghostbusters since the '80s, both of the movies and of the different animated series that have followed since then, and have always wished they would make a game based around, and/or at least, incorporate the characters from the Extreme Ghostbusters series. I know there was the Extreme Ghostbusters: Code Ecto-1 game made for the Game Boy Advance, but would be nice to get those awesome characters into a really good Ghostbusters game, and something much better than that one particular game.

Is there an offline story mode that isn't an asymmetrical battle sim? I couldn't tell from the trailer if this will be fun or just another Evolve close.
It's just the asymmetric game and a hub world. It's more fun than evolve though. Doesn't suffer from the same pitfalls
And Phantom gannon from N64 as a guest ghost would be cool hehe.

I've been playing the PS5 version for a while now after ignoring it for too long. As Ghostbuster games go, this one is among the best (the 2013 game top tier).
So plot:ghost busters find Phenten portal, chaos ensues
Ghost Buster x Luigi's Mansion x Danny Phantom.
Yeah I can see the money rolling in for that crossover.
So cool they're putting love into Ghostbusters video games this year, gonna be reviewing the VR game this week.. I just hope we get a AAA game in the near future with a less cartoony/childish vibe these games are going for. The original films were funny yeah, but super dark at times, and the ghosts were scary. I'd love to see someone like Insomniac, or Naughty Dog take it on.. or at least get that AAA realistic treatment.

Just as a rule of thumb, I make it a point to never purchase any Switch games that use PC or PS5 footage in their trailers.
