Making such specific videos is what makes Michael and his channel so unique and valuable. He cares more about his subscribers’ interests than gaining easier views with a bunch of general topic videos, that’s for sure. Thanks for all your work!
Been using FL for years and consider myself fairly familiar with it yet every video of yours seems to teach me something new and I love it! Thank you very much for the constant education!
Love to have you back man....., I would love to have an in depth song "Mixing Tutorial" or ......looks like your studio changed a lot ....it would be nice to have a studio tour🙂...
Michael , i hope you realize that you are creating more self-made producers and artist around the world since 2019. You are a big part of our success and we will continue to support you till the end. Thank you for everything! Love from Malaysia ❤
1) Another banger, I thought I was gonna just watch a convert to MIDI Pattern tutorial and was happy just with that, but I had no clue about this method. 2) WHAT A GOOD PUP! Got so huge!
So glad to see you are doing okay, thank you so much for everything. It's been awhile since I saw your video as I'm busy with my own music these days but it was because of your teachings that I have a career right now. Sending good wishes to you.. here's to better and bigger things in life🥂
I just bought my copy of FL Studio Signature Bundle and I'm happy that I can learn from your tutorials, Michael :) Very good source of knowledge. I thought that FLS is just for beat makers but you showed me that I can do everything in this software. And FLS has so great workflow. I tried many DAW's and I always back to FLS. Keep going man! Thank you :)
It's quite useful when set up right. I like using it in the oscilloscope mode with a slow refresh when doing sound design. It helps me understand what many of the parameters are doing to the waveshape.
It would be great if FL studio had something like Cubase where you just drag and drop the song and bam you have your chords automatically, but hey, this is great and I bet few of us knew how to use Wavecandy before this 😃
I admire the tips, however don't forget to encourage people to use their ears to figure out what was played. Because that is an important aspect of growing your skill as a musician.
When you think you've learnt enough, In the Mix starts pulling rabbits out of hats. Exceptional content as always Michael, and I hope Solo can make an appearance at the end of all future videos.
Well, this is definitely an exciting way of, say, "reverse-composing" music. Not sure how it works with overtone-rich sources like some EDM or academic pieces, but this is the way for most cases. Will try it on the one violin ensemble music on which I wanted to write down a musical dictation.
Hi. I have recorded songs in a pro studio, but finally bought my own. I dont remember what studio software he has. But when he records my singing and instruments its all can show in midi. So its basics what i mean is he can adjust the pitch of every note we play or sing. like in the piano roll. How do i accomplish that in FLstudio? Best regards Ola - Sweden
Thank you for showing us audio to midi. I'm always in FL Studio 20. Now I'll be able to just experiment with chords and melodies. I was looking for a free plugin like Scaler 2. I actually found one and you can hit one note and it triggers a chord but you have to type in the chord keys. Also I recently found FL mobile in FL studio. I also have FL Studio mobile on phone. FL Studio is the best DAW out there imho.
Thank you very much for putting out this great video. I'm learning how to use FL Studio and excited about the features you explained. I'm at the end of completing my song and so happy to have found your channel to help me understand more about this program and how to make my song sound good/professional. I'm looking forward to watching more of your videos. Thank you.
Hello. Cool, but why? I'm asking because there's just a little step toward the automatic extraction of the notes. The notes are displayed on wave candy so why shouldn't record them and put in a midi score? So maybe the question would be: why not?
Hey there, thanks for this video! Does Wave Candy work in other DAWs such as Logic Pro X? If not, what would you recommend for Polyphonic audio to midi conversion (besides Melodyne)?
Man you are so brilliant! Following your channel since the beginning but subbed later...you are absolutely amazing.. learned a lot from you! keep the good work man!
great thank you so much, really nice; we love you; I would like to learn FL studio; where to start; I have searched so many channels in youTube; but vein; pl guide me
Hello brother..Your content seems to be so informative..Thanks for that. And can you pls make a video on stereo mixing for surround music and precisely on surround mix template in fl studio as there's an only video on RUclips detailing that. Pls make this ready ASAP bro.. Peace.
Ooh I was hoping for an automated method. If the piano sample is like 30 minutes long, it's gonna take a while. For simple melodies, you can also just use perfect pitch to get things right.
Welcome back sir, hope you're doing well,Thanks for this video, its quite important and crucial for me😅,Would you like to make a video on your journey as a music producer? I'd love to know
Given a flute music file, how can we convert the music to notes and decompress the file back to audio blocks using literally any method( trained spectograms, any ML algorithm..)
I keep coming back to your channel to look for tips and all and genuinely, you are a lifesaver with your advice and how you teach stuff, genuinely don't know what I'd do without your videos 💙
thank you so much for all your videos michael. they gave me the confidence to buy a laptop and fl studio when i thought it would be impossible for me to learn this kind of thing. now i have a part time job songwriting and it's been a real game changer for me, you are an absolute legend! :)
Hello Micheal, I just bought Arturia minilab mk2 and i really want to control the channel rack with my pads can you help me with the mapping and stuff please
I have a lot of high end frequencies coming through my mic, maybe it’s because my mic isn’t isolated but I can’t get rid of them without cutting out too much high end. And tips? Should I just isolate my mic?
Great channel very helpful. I do have a questions though. How do you get peak metres on the individual tracks in arrangement view I've seen this in fl promotion vids etc but can't seem to find an option to turn this feature on. I saw this on the image line video for fl 21.
I have a problem 🙈 how I can find out which line is for which instrument. For example, which line is for snare and which melody. Or which one for the cake, how do I know which line is for which instrument.
I used to do this in the past but it requires a lot of manual work but now there's a better way which is using "Basic Pitch" a free Spotify AI tool which converts audio to midi.
Hello In the Mx, do you think you can make a video on how to pursue music production, audio edngineer or simply music in general after school in college?
Plz request FL studio developers to add a feature inside Edison or piano roll where we can put audio track to see notes like this on spectrogram and we able to add notes right there on top of those visible notes with piano roll. That would be life savior feature 🙏 . You can see this feature like Ripx deep mix software:)
could you do a tutorial on maybe how to apply something like this to transcribe old 30s music? Where the quality was so low that it could be hard to decipher chord progressions and things.
Hi bro i have a problem if i use automation clips with the fruity parametric eq to make low pass filter in some places in the beat it works . but if i export the beat it doesnt work and i can not hear the automation that i used . i dont know is it an export setting mistake or something .. : ) it would be nice if you can help

@@migats2160 I had to take some time away from RUclips. I’m glad to be back and have some good videos lined up which I think add value to the space :)

Just what I needed since yesterday. Thank you very much for your advice, sir!
I'm glad I could help!
@@inthemix I would love for you to also upload a video explaining a very simple way to get the chords and melody of an acapella.

As a newbie to the world of digital music production, your channel is a blessing and an incredible resource. Thank you for what you do.
This is great. Thank you! I have tons of old songs I wrote in the 90’s that’ll be a lot easier to remake now. You rock!!
Thanks! I often go back to older songs and think “how did I even make this?!” And it’s really helpful
1) Another banger, I thought I was gonna just watch a convert to MIDI Pattern tutorial and was happy just with that, but I had no clue about this method.

I also recommend pairing the online ai stem splitter with Wave Candy, the split audio samples are more easily identified in spectrum
yet again when i need something you seem to be there lol, love this channel been helping me since 2019 keep up the awesome work dude

Love this🔥
Thank you very much! Are you aware of similar plugin(s) for LogicPro or Ableton users? It would be very handy
its been a while, thanks for coming back with a great upload and a bear like DOGGO
Super cool video, is there any similar plug-in for Ableton? The native option which does this automatically is not always helpful

I'm much the same way. I do use some other DAWs for some tasks (Wavelab for complicated mastering jobs etc) but I always come home to FL.
Great video I've been watching you for a while I really like this Tip ,thank you.
Literally BLOWING MY MIND, INSANE.
Shame the title didn’t say ‘in fl studio’ cry😢
That looks super useful, I thought all the visual section is trash :D

How to do Clip Gain Automation on FL STUDIO ???
Thank you for explaining this thoroughly!
What a brilliant tutorial. If only we could extract the details directly into the piano roll, I can think of a load of practical uses.
It would be so good if you could directly copy and paste the chords. I know this is a feature many have asked for on the Looptalk forums!
I admire the tips, however don't forget to encourage people to use their ears to figure out what was played. Because that is an important aspect of growing your skill as a musician.
You're right. I often mention this but forgot on this occasion. Trying to make the videos shorter and I missed it out!
Glad you've returned! Hope to see more helpful videos and FL studio 21 beta coverage either anytime soon.
When FL 21 is out, you know where to be! Lot's of videos on the way covering new features and how to make the most of them.

Another great tutorial . Thanks
Amazing, the EQ tip along the wave candy is good 👍🏻 lastly, thank you to show the ghost producer SOLO ! Thank you
I have another method. Learn music theory and practice recognizing intervals
That works! You’d be surprised how tricky it can be even when you are highly experienced.
Please give Solo one more hug from me!!! That made my day in many ways!
I just did! He's such a big softie :)
This is a great technique! Thank you

Good to have you back :) Hoping to see some FL21 content soon!

why does it sound like bat waves every time I switch to midi, is there any way to fix it?😢
Love the method! Amazing! Thanks
It's good to see you. Using solo button in Maximus also helps.
I find when I do this method and the other method you have shown i don't get accurate results

and how do i close wave candy without closing FL studio? Thanks

thankyou for this video fr love your channel so much
I use a similar approach combining EQ and melodyn
this is the only reason why i choose ableton as my daw ...but now i might consider fl studio
