Does anybody know if it is possible to access all of FL 20 mixer channels or inserts with a midi mixer control unit like Novation Launch Control XL? The unit is supported but I can't figure out how to control insert 9 and up manually on the hardware.
Putting reverb on sub bass is good in some cases. Can create atmosphere. Provided you turn the bass knob down and mix it accordingly. Can really help sometimes.
You can do anything to anything (nonone cares) as long as it sounds good. Listeners don’t care what you do but only want a good sounding music that they would like. So it really doesn’t matter at the end of the day. Break the rules, think outside box, do whatever.

I just put it there so that I can adjust the gain before the fader. Sometimes I use it and sometimes not. You know on channels where you have to push the fader really far down because it should sit lower in the mix? With the "balance" plugin I can lower the gain with that plugin and then push the fader all the way back up. It sounds complicated when I type it, but it allows you to keep your faders nice and high, where you have more resolution i.e moving the faders does not cause a huge volume change. When the faders get low, a small change makes a big difference in the gain

you can also use patcher and separate low, mid and higher freqs, put reverb on hight frequencies, you will get insan bass
I've.been using FL Studio quite intensively for 10 years, but these insights were superb.

Bro you are so helpful every time!!! I've a question for you... Why do you always put a balance at the end of all inserts?
I just put it there so that I can adjust the gain before the fader. Sometimes I use it and sometimes not.
